100. Al-Aadiyaat سُورَةُ العَادِيَاتِ
Saheeh InternationalBy the racers, panting
Yusuf AliBy the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath)
«والعاديات» الخيل تعدو في الغزو وتضبح «ضبحا» هو صوت أجوافها إذا عدت.
Saheeh InternationalAnd the producers of sparks [when] striking
Yusuf AliAnd strike sparks of fire
«فالموريات» الخيل توري النار «قدحا» بحوافرها إذا سارت في الأرض ذات الحجارة بالليل.
Saheeh InternationalAnd the chargers at dawn
Yusuf AliAnd push home the charge in the morning
«فالمغيرات صبحا» الخيل تغير على العدو وقت الصبح بإغارة أصحابها.
Saheeh InternationalStirring up thereby [clouds of] dust
Yusuf AliAnd raise the dust in clouds the while
«فأثرن» هيجن «به» بمكان عدوهن أو بذلك الوقت «نقعا» غبارا بشدة حركتهن.
Saheeh InternationalArriving thereby in the center collectively
Yusuf AliAnd penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse
«فوسطن به» بالنقع «جمعا» من العدو، أي صرن وسطه وعطف الفعل على الاسم لأنه في تأويل الفعل أي واللاتي عدون فأورين فأغرن.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful
Yusuf AliTruly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful
«إن الإنسان» الكافر «لربه لكنود» لكفور يجحد نعمته تعالى.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, he is to that a witness
Yusuf AliAnd to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds)
«وإنه على ذلك» أي كنوده «لشهيد» يشهد على نفسه بصنعه.
Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense
Yusuf AliAnd violent is he in his love of wealth
«وإنه لحب الخير» أي المال الحب له فيبخل به.
Saheeh InternationalBut does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
Yusuf AliDoes he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad
«أفلا يعلم إذا بُعثر» أثير وأخرج «ما في القبور» من الموتى، أي بعثوا.
Saheeh InternationalAnd that within the breasts is obtained
Yusuf AliAnd that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest
«وحصِّل» بين وأفرز «ما في الصدور» القلوب من الكفر والإيمان.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted
Yusuf AliThat their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day
«إن ربهم بهم يومئذ لخبير» لعالم فيجازيهم على كفرهم، أعيد الضمير جمعا نظرا لمعنى الإنسان وهذه الجملة دلت على مفعول يعلم، أي إنا نجازيه وقت ما ذكر وتعلق خبير بيومئذ وهو تعالى خبير دائما لأنه يوم المجازاة.
