47. Muhammad سُورَةُ مُحَمَّدٍ

Ali BulaçOnlar ki inkar ettiler ve Allah'ın yolundan alıkoydular, (işte Allah da) onların amellerini giderip-boşa çıkarmıştır

Saheeh InternationalThose who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah - He will waste their deeds

Yusuf AliThose who reject God and hinder (men) from the Path of God,- their deeds will God render astray (from their mark)

Ali Bulaçİman edip salih amellerde bulunan ve Muhammed'e indirilen (Kur'an)a -ki o Rablerinden bir haktır- iman edenlerin (Allah), kötülüklerini örtüp-bağışlamış, durumlarını düzeltip-ıslah etmiştir

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition

Yusuf AliBut those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition

Ali Bulaçİşte böyle; hiç şüphesiz, inkar edenler batıl olana uymuşlar; ve hiç şüphesiz, iman edenler Rablerinden olan hakka uymuşlardır. İşte Allah, insanlara kendi örneklerini böyle vererek gösteriyor

Saheeh InternationalThat is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah present to the people their comparisons

Yusuf AliThis because those who reject God follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does God set forth for men their lessons by similitudes

Ali BulaçÖyleyse, inkar edenlerle (savaş sırasında) karşı karşıya geldiğiniz zaman, hemen boyunlarını vurun; sonunda onları 'iyice bozguna uğratıp zafer kazanınca da' artık (esirler için) bağı sımsıkı tutun. Saheeh InternationalSo when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds

Yusuf AliTherefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burd ens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been God's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of God,- He will never let their deeds be lost

Ali BulaçOnları hidayete erdirecek ve durumlarını düzeltip-ıslah edecektir

Saheeh InternationalHe will guide them and amend their condition

Yusuf AliSoon will He guide them and improve their condition

Ali BulaçVe onları, kendilerine tarif edip-tanıttığı cennete sokacaktır

Saheeh InternationalAnd admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them

Yusuf AliAnd admit them to the Garden which He has announced for them

Saheeh InternationalBut those who disbelieve - for them is misery, and He will waste their deeds

Yusuf AliBut those who reject (God),- for them is destruction, and (God) will render their deeds astray (from their mark)

Saheeh InternationalThat is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds

Yusuf AliThat is because they hate the Revelation of God; so He has made their deeds fruitless

Saheeh InternationalHave they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed [everything] over them, and for the disbelievers is something comparable

Yusuf AliDo they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? God brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject God

Ali Bulaçİşte böyle; çünkü Allah, iman edenlerin velisidir; kafirlerin ise, velisi yoktur

Saheeh InternationalThat is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector

Yusuf AliThat is because God is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject God have no protector

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz Allah, iman edip salih amellerde bulunanları, altından ırmaklar akan cennetlere sokar. İnkar edenler ise, metalanırlar ve hayvanların yemesi gibi yerler; ateş, onlar için bir konaklama yeridir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them

Yusuf AliVerily God will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject God will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode

Ali BulaçSeni sürüp-çıkaran memleketinden kuvvet bakımından daha üstün nice memleketler vardı ki, Biz onları yıkıma uğrattık da kendileri için hiçbir yardımcı yoktu

Saheeh InternationalAnd how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them

Yusuf AliAnd how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them

Ali BulaçŞimdi Rabbinden apaçık bir belge üzerinde bulunan kimse, kötü ameli kendisine 'süslü ve çekici gösterilmiş' ve kendi heva (istek ve tutku)larına uyan kimseler gibi midir

Saheeh InternationalSo is he who is on clear evidence from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work has been made attractive and they follow their [own] desires

Yusuf AliIs then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts

Ali BulaçTakva sahiplerine va'dedilen cennetin misali (şudur): İçinde bozulmayan sudan ırmaklar, tadı değişmeyen sütten ırmaklar, içenler için lezzet veren şaraptan ırmaklar ve süzme baldan ırmaklar vardır ve orda onlar için meyvelerin her türlüsünden ve Rablerinden bir mağfiret vardır. Saheeh InternationalIs the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines

Yusuf Ali(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it th ere are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)

Ali BulaçOnlardan kimi gelip seni dinler. Nitekim yanından çıkıp-gittikleri zaman, ilim verilenlere derler ki: "O biraz önce ne söyledi?" İşte onlar; Allah, onların kalplerini mühürlemiştir ve onlar kendi heva (istek ve tutku)larına uymuşlardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd among them, [O Muhammad], are those who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they say to those who were given knowledge, "What has he said just now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and who have followed their [own] desires

Yusuf AliAnd among them are men who listen to thee, but in the end, when they go out from thee, they say to those who have received Knowledge, "What is it he said just then?" Such are men whose hearts God has sealed, and who follow their own lusts

Ali BulaçHidayeti bulmuş olanlara gelince; (Allah,) hidayetlerini artırmış ve takvalarını vermiştir

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who are guided - He increases them in guidance and gives them their righteousness

Yusuf AliBut to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil)

Ali BulaçArtık onlar, kıyamet-saatinin kendilerine apansız gelmesinden başkasını mı gözlüyorlar? İşte onun işaretleri gelmiştir. Fakat kendilerine geldikten sonra öğüt alıp-düşünmeleri onlara neyi sağlar

Saheeh InternationalThen do they await except that the Hour should come upon them unexpectedly? But already there have come [some of] its indications. Then what good to them, when it has come, will be their remembrance

Yusuf AliDo they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition

Ali BulaçŞu halde bil; gerçekten, Allah'tan başka İlah yoktur. Hem kendi günahın, hem mü'min erkekler ve mü'min kadınlar için mağfiret dile. Allah, sizin dönüp-dolaşacağınız yeri bilir, konaklama yerinizi de

Saheeh InternationalSo know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place

Yusuf AliKnow, therefore, that there is no god but God, and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and for the men and women who believe: for God knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes

Saheeh InternationalThose who believe say, "Why has a surah not been sent down? But when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death. And more appropriate for them [would have been]

Yusuf AliThose who believe say, "Why is not a sura sent down (for us)?" But when a sura of basic or categorical meaning is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one i n swoon at the approach of death. But more fitting for them

Ali Bulaçİtaat ve maruf (güzel) sözdü. Fakat iş, kesinlik ve kararlılık gerektirdiği zaman, şayet Allah'a sadakat gösterselerdi, şüphesiz onlar için daha hayırlı olurdu

Saheeh InternationalObedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them

Yusuf AliWere it to obey and say what is just, and when a matter is resolved on, it were best for them if they were true to God

Ali BulaçDemek, 'iş başına gelip yönetimi ele alırsanız' hemen yeryüzünde fesad (bozgunculuk) çıkaracak ve akrabalık bağlarınızı koparıp parçalayacaksınız, öyle mi

Saheeh InternationalSo would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship

Yusuf AliThen, is it to be expected of you, if ye were put in authority, that ye will do mischief in the land, and break your ties of kith and kin

Saheeh InternationalThose [who do so] are the ones that Allah has cursed, so He deafened them and blinded their vision

Yusuf AliSuch are the men whom God has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded their sight

Saheeh InternationalThen do they not reflect upon the Qur'an, or are there locks upon [their] hearts

Yusuf AliDo they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz, kendilerine hidayet açıkça belli olduktan sonra, gerisin geri (küfre) dönenleri, şeytan kışkırtmış ve uzun emellere kaptırmıştır

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them

Yusuf AliThose who turn back as apostates after Guidance was clearly shown to them,- the Evil One has instigated them and busied them up with false hopes

Ali Bulaçİşte böyle; çünkü gerçekten onlar, Allah'ın indirdiğini çirkin karşılayanlara dediler ki: "Size bazı işlerde itaat edeceğiz." Oysa Allah, sakladıkları şeyleri (sır olarak konuştuklarını) biliyor

Saheeh InternationalThat is because they said to those who disliked what Allah sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allah knows what they conceal

Yusuf AliThis, because they said to those who hate what God has revealed, "We will obey you in part of (this) matter"; but God knows their (inner) secrets

Ali BulaçÖyleyse melekler, yüzlerine ve arkalarına vura vura canlarını aldıkları zaman nasıl olacak

Saheeh InternationalThen how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs

Yusuf AliBut how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs

Ali Bulaçİşte böyle; çünkü gerçekten onlar, Allah'ı gazablandıran şeye uydular ve O'nu razı edecek şeyleri çirkin karşıladılar; bundan dolayı (Allah,) amellerini boşa çıkardı

Saheeh InternationalThat is because they followed what angered Allah and disliked [what earns] His pleasure, so He rendered worthless their deeds

Yusuf AliThis because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of God, and they hated God's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect

Ali BulaçYoksa kalplerinde hastalık bulunanlar, Allah'ın kinlerini hiç (ortaya) çıkarmayacağını mı sandılar

Saheeh InternationalOr do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred

Yusuf AliOr do those in whose hearts is a disease, think that God will not bring to light all their rancour

Ali BulaçEğer Biz dilersek, sana onları elbette gösteririz, böylelikle onları simalarından tanırsın. Andolsun, sen onları, sözlerin söyleniş tarzından da tanırsın. Allah, amellerinizi bilir

Saheeh InternationalAnd if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds

Yusuf AliHad We so wiled, We could have shown them up to thee, and thou shouldst have known them by their marks: but surely thou wilt know them by the tone of their speech! And God knows all that ye do

Ali BulaçAndolsun, Biz sizden mücahid olanlarla sabredenleri bilinceye (belli edip ortaya çıkarıncaya) kadar, deneyeceğiz ve haberlerinizi sınayacağız (açıklayacağız)

Saheeh InternationalAnd We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs

Yusuf AliAnd We shall try you until We test those among you who strive their utmost and persevere in patience; and We shall try your reported (mettle)

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz inkar edenler, Allah'ın yolundan alıkoyanlar ve kendilerine hidayet açıkça belli olduktan sonra 'elçiye karşı gelip zorluk çıkaranlar', kesin olarak Allah'a hiçbir şeyle zarar veremezler. (Allah,) Onların amellerini boşa çıkaracaktır

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds

Yusuf AliThose who reject God, hinder (men) from the Path of God, and resist the Apostle, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure God in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect

Ali BulaçEy iman edenler, Allah'a itaat edin, Resûl’e itaat edin ve kendi amellerinizi geçersiz kılmayın

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Obey God, and obey the apostle, and make not vain your deeds

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz, inkar edenler, Allah'ın yolundan alıkoyanlar, sonra ölenler; işte Allah, onlara kesinlikle mağfiret etmeyecektir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them

Yusuf AliThose who reject God, and hinder (men) from the Path of God, then die rejecting God,- God will not forgive them

Ali BulaçÖyleyse, siz üstün (bir durumda) iken, barışa çağırmak suretiyle gevşekliğe düşmeyin. Allah, sizinle beraberdir; O, sizin amellerinizi asla eksiltmez

Saheeh InternationalSo do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds

Yusuf AliBe not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for God is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds

Ali BulaçGerçekten dünya hayatı, ancak bir oyun ve tutkulu bir oyalanmadır. Eğer iman ederseniz ve sakınırsanız, O, size ecirlerinizi verir ve mallarınızı da istemez

Saheeh International[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties

Yusuf AliThe life of this world is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against Evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions

Ali BulaçEğer sizden onları(n tümünü) isteyip sizi çıplak bırakacak olursa, cimrilik edersiniz ve sizin kinlerinizi de ortaya çıkarmış olur

Saheeh InternationalIf He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness

Yusuf AliIf He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling

Ali Bulaçİşte sizler böylesiniz; Allah yolunda infak etmeye çağrılıyorsunuz; buna rağmen bazılarınız cimrilik ediyor. Kim cimrilik ederse, artık o, ancak kendi nefsine cimrilik eder. Saheeh InternationalHere you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you

Yusuf AliBehold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of God: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But God is free of all wants, and it is ye that are need y. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you
