54. Al-Qamar سُورَةُ القَمَرِ

Saheeh InternationalThe Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two]

Süleyman AteşO sa'at yaklaştı, ay yarıldı

Yusuf AliThe Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder

Saheeh InternationalAnd if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic

Süleyman AteşBir mu'cize görecek olsalar yüz çevirirler ve "Süregelen bir büyüdür" derler

Yusuf AliBut if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic

Saheeh InternationalAnd they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement

Süleyman AteşYalanladılar, nefislerinin heveslerine uydular. Halbuki her iş, yerini bulacaktır (Allah'ın kararına kimse engel olamaz)

Yusuf AliThey reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time

Saheeh InternationalAnd there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence

Süleyman AteşAndolsun, onlara, (batılda kalmalarını) önleyecek (ibret verici olayları anlatan) haberler geldi

Yusuf AliThere have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them)

Saheeh InternationalExtensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them]

Süleyman AteşBunlar üstün hikmettir! Ama uyarılar fayda vermiyor

Yusuf AliMature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not

Saheeh InternationalSo leave them, [O Muhammad]. The Day the Caller calls to something forbidding

Süleyman AteşÖyleyse sen de onlardan yüz çevir; o çağırıcının görülmemiş, tanınmamış bir şeye çağıracağı gün

Yusuf AliTherefore, (O Prophet,) turn away from them. The Day that the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair

Saheeh InternationalTheir eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading

Süleyman AteşGözleri düşkün düşkün (zillet ve dehşet içinde) kabirlerden çıkarlar; tıpkı yayılan çekirgeler gibidirler

Yusuf AliThey will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad

Saheeh InternationalRacing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day

Süleyman AteşBoyunlarını, çağırana doğru uzatmış koşarlarken, kafirler: "Bu çetin bir gündür!" derler

Yusuf AliHastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say

Saheeh InternationalThe people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled

Süleyman AteşOnlardan önce Nuh'un kavmi de yalanlamıştı. Kulumuzu yalanladılar ve: "Cinlenmiştir" dediler. Ve o(na çeşitli eziyetler yapılarak tebliğden) menedildi

Yusuf AliBefore them the People of Noah rejected (their apostle): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out

Saheeh InternationalSo he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help

Süleyman AteşBunun üzerine Rabbine: "Ben yenik düştüm, yardım et!" diye yalvardı

Yusuf AliThen he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)

Saheeh InternationalThen We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down

Süleyman AteşBiz de boşalan bir su ile göğün kapılarını açtık

Yusuf AliSo We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth

Saheeh InternationalAnd caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined

Süleyman AteşYeri kaynaklar halinde fışkırttık, (göğün ve yerin) su(ları) takdir edilmiş bir işin olması için birleşti

Yusuf AliAnd We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed

Saheeh InternationalAnd We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails

Süleyman AteşNuh'u da tahtalar ve çiviler(le yapılmış gemi) üzerinde taşıdık

Yusuf AliBut We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm- fibre

Saheeh InternationalSailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied

Süleyman Ateş(Kendisine karşı) Nankörlük edilen(kulumuz)a (bizden) bir mükafat olmak üzere (gemi), gözlerimizin önünde akıp gidiyordu

Yusuf AliShe floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)

Saheeh InternationalAnd We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember

Süleyman AteşBunu bir ibret olarak bıraktık, ibret alan yok mudur

Yusuf AliAnd We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition

Saheeh InternationalAnd how [severe] were My punishment and warning

Süleyman AteşBenim azabım ve uyarılarım nasılmış (görsünler diye)

Yusuf AliBut how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember

Yusuf AliAnd We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition

Saheeh InternationalAad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning

Süleyman AteşAd da yalanladı, ama azabım ve uyarılarım nasıl oldu

Yusuf AliThe 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune

Süleyman AteşBiz onların üstüne uğursuz mu uğursuz bir günde uğultulu bir kasırga saldık

Yusuf AliFor We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster

Saheeh InternationalExtracting the people as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted

Yusuf AliPlucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground)

Saheeh InternationalAnd how [severe] were My punishment and warning

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember

Saheeh InternationalThamud denied the warning

Süleyman AteşSemud da uyarıları yalandı

Yusuf AliThe Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, "Is it one human being among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness

Süleyman AteşBizden bir insana mı uyacağız? O takdirde biz apaçık bir sapıklık ve çılgınlık içine düşmüş oluruz dediler

Yusuf AliFor they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad

Saheeh InternationalHas the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar

Süleyman AteşZikir, aramızdan ona mı bırakıldı? Hayır o, yalancı küstahın biridir

Yusuf AliIs it that the Message is sent to him, of all people amongst us? Nay, he is a liar, an insolent one

Saheeh InternationalThey will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar

Süleyman Ateş(Salih'e dedik ki): Yarın onlar, yalancı, küstahın kim olduğunu bilecekler

Yusuf AliAh! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We are sending the she-camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient

Süleyman AteşBiz onlara, kendilerini sınamak için dişi deveyi göndereceğiz. Hele sen onları gözetle, sabret

Yusuf AliFor We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience

Saheeh InternationalAnd inform them that the water is shared between them, each [day of] drink attended [by turn]

Yusuf AliAnd tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns)

Saheeh InternationalBut they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung [her]

Yusuf AliBut they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her)

Saheeh InternationalAnd how [severe] were My punishment and warning

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We sent upon them one blast from the sky, and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen

Süleyman AteşBiz onların üzerine tek sayha (korkunç bir ses) gönderdik; ağılcının topladığı kuru ot gibi kırılıp döküldüler

Yusuf AliFor We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember

Saheeh InternationalThe people of Lot denied the warning

Süleyman AteşLut'un kavmi de uyarıları yalanladı

Yusuf AliThe people of Lut rejected (his) warning

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn

Süleyman AteşBiz de üstlerine (taşlar savuran) bir fırtına gönderdik, yalnız Lut ailesini seher vakti kurtardık

Yusuf AliWe sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn

Saheeh InternationalAs favor from us. Thus do We reward he who is grateful

Süleyman AteşKatımızdan bir ni'met olarak. Biz şükredeni böyle mükafatlandırırız

Yusuf AliAs a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks

Saheeh InternationalAnd he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning

Yusuf AliAnd (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning

Saheeh InternationalAnd they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning

Süleyman AteşOnun (güzel delikanlılar şeklinde görünen melek) konuklarından murad almağa kalkıştılar. Biz de gözlerini siliverdik: "Haydi azabımı ve uyarılarımı tadın

Yusuf AliAnd they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning

Saheeh InternationalAnd there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment

Yusuf AliEarly on the morrow an abiding Punishment seized them

Saheeh InternationalSo taste My punishment and warning

Yusuf AliTo the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from God)

Saheeh InternationalThey denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability

Süleyman AteşBütün ayetlerimizi yalanladılar. Biz de onları, galib ve güçlü(padişah)ın yakalaması gibi yakaladık

Yusuf AliThe (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will

Saheeh InternationalAre your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture

Süleyman AteşŞimdi sizin kafirleriniz, ötekilerinizden hayırlı mı? Yoksa Kitaplarda sizin için bir beraet (inkarınızdan dolayı size sorumsuzluk) mu var

Yusuf AliAre your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books

Saheeh InternationalOr do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]

Süleyman AteşYoksa "Biz muzaffer (yenilmez) bir topluluğuz" mu diyorlar

Yusuf AliOr do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves

Saheeh International[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]

Süleyman AteşO topluluk bozulacak ve geriye dönüp kaçacaklardır

Yusuf AliSoon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs

Saheeh InternationalBut the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter

Süleyman AteşHayır, buluşma zamanları o (uyarıldıkları) sa'attir. O sa'at cidden çok feci ve acıdır

Yusuf AliNay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the criminals are in error and madness

Süleyman AteşSuçlular bir sapıklık ve çılgınlık içindedir

Yusuf AliTruly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad

Saheeh InternationalThe Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar

Yusuf AliThe Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, all things We created with predestination

Süleyman AteşBiz her şeyi bir kadere (bir düzene, ölçüye, plana) göre yarattık

Yusuf AliVerily, all things have We created in proportion and measure

Saheeh InternationalAnd Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye

Süleyman AteşBizim buyruğumuz yalnız bir tektir, göz açıp yumma gibidir

Yusuf AliAnd Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember

Süleyman AteşAndolsun biz sizin benzerlerinizi hep helak ettik. Öğüt alan yok mudur

Yusuf AliAnd (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition

Saheeh InternationalAnd everything they did is in written records

Yusuf AliAll that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds)

Saheeh InternationalAnd every small and great [thing] is inscribed

Yusuf AliEvery matter, small and great, is on record

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers

Yusuf AliAs to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers

Saheeh InternationalIn a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability

Süleyman AteşGüçlü padişahın huzurunda doğruluk koltuklarında(memnunluk içinde)dirler

Yusuf AliIn an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent
