Yusuf AliThe Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity

Saheeh InternationalSo as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]

Ali BulaçBu nedenle Semud (halkı), korkunç bir sesle helak edildi

Yusuf AliBut the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning

Saheeh InternationalAnd as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind

Ali BulaçAd (halkın)a gelince; onlar da, uğultu yüklü, azgın bir kasırga ile helak edildiler

Yusuf AliAnd the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent

Saheeh InternationalWhich Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees

Ali Bulaç(Allah) Onu, yedi gece ve sekiz gün, aralık vermeksizin üzerlerine musallat etti. Öyle ki, o kavmin, orada sanki içi kof hurma kütükleriymiş gibi çarpılıp yere yıkıldığını görürsün

Yusuf AliHe made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down

Saheeh InternationalThen do you see of them any remains

Ali BulaçŞimdi onlardan hiç arta kalan (bir şey) görüyor musun

Yusuf AliThen seest thou any of them left surviving

Saheeh InternationalAnd there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin

Ali BulaçFiravun (kavmi), ondan öncekiler ve yerle bir olan şehirler (halkı da hep) o hata ile (tarih sahnesine) geldiler

Yusuf AliAnd Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin

Saheeh InternationalAnd they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity]

Ali BulaçBöylece Rablerinin elçisine isyan ettiler. Bu yüzden onları, şiddeti gittikçe artan bir yakalayışla yakaladı

Yusuf AliAnd disobeyed (each) the apostle of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship

Yusuf AliWe, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark)

Saheeh InternationalThat We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it

Yusuf AliThat We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance

Saheeh InternationalThen when the Horn is blown with one blast

Yusuf AliThen, when one blast is sounded on the Trumpet

Saheeh InternationalAnd the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow

Yusuf AliAnd the earth is moved, and its mountains, and they are crushed to powder at one stroke

Saheeh InternationalThen on that Day, the Resurrection will occur

Ali Bulaçİşte o gün, vakıa (bir gerçek olan kıyamet) artık vukubulmuş (gerçekleşmiş)tur

Yusuf AliOn that Day shall the (Great) Event come to pass

Saheeh InternationalAnd the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm

Ali BulaçGök yarılıp-çatlamıştır; artık o gün, 'sarkmış-za'fa uğramıştır

Yusuf AliAnd the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy

Saheeh InternationalAnd the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them]

Ali BulaçMelek(ler) ise, onun çevresi üzerindedir. O gün, Rabbinin arşını onların da üstünde sekiz (melek) taşır

Yusuf AliAnd the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them

Saheeh InternationalThat Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed

Ali BulaçSiz o gün arzolunursunuz; sizden yana hiçbir gizli (şey), gizli kalmaz

Yusuf AliThat Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden

Saheeh InternationalSo as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record

Yusuf AliThen he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account

Yusuf AliI did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me

Saheeh InternationalSo he will be in a pleasant life

Ali BulaçArtık o, hoşnut bir yaşama içindedir

Yusuf AliAnd he will be in a life of Bliss

Saheeh InternationalIn an elevated garden

Ali BulaçYüksek bir cennette

Yusuf AliIn a Garden on high

Saheeh InternationalIts [fruit] to be picked hanging near

Ali BulaçDevşirilecek (meyve ve eşsiz ürün)leri pek yakındır

Yusuf AliThe Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near

Saheeh International[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past

Yusuf AliEat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone

Saheeh InternationalBut as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record

Yusuf AliAnd that I had never realised how my account (stood)

Saheeh InternationalI wish my death had been the decisive one

Ali BulaçKeşke o (ölüm herşeyi) kesip bitirseydi

Yusuf AliAh! Would that (Death) had made an end of me

Saheeh InternationalMy wealth has not availed me

Ali BulaçMalım bana hiçbir yarar sağlayamadı

Yusuf AliOf no profit to me has been my wealth

Saheeh InternationalGone from me is my authority

Ali BulaçGüç ve kudretim yok olup gitti

Yusuf AliMy power has perished from me

Saheeh International[Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him

Ali Bulaç(Allah buyruk verir:) "Onu tutuklayın, hemen bağlayın

Yusuf Ali(The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him

Saheeh InternationalThen into Hellfire drive him

Ali BulaçSonra çılgın alevlerin içine atın

Yusuf AliAnd burn ye him in the Blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalThen into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him

Yusuf AliFurther, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great

Yusuf AliThis was he that would not believe in God Most High

Saheeh InternationalNor did he encourage the feeding of the poor

Ali BulaçYoksula yemek vermeye destekçi olmazdı

Yusuf AliAnd would not encourage the feeding of the indigent

Saheeh InternationalSo there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend

Ali BulaçBundan dolayı bugün, kendisine hiçbir sıcak dost yoktur

Yusuf AliSo no friend hath he here this Day

Saheeh InternationalNor any food except from the discharge of wounds

Yusuf AliNor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds

Saheeh InternationalNone will eat it except the sinners

Yusuf AliWhich none do eat but those in sin

Saheeh InternationalSo I swear by what you see

Ali BulaçHayır; gördüklerinize yemin ederim

Yusuf AliSo I do call to witness what ye see

Saheeh InternationalAnd what you do not see

Yusuf AliAnd what ye see not

Saheeh International[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger

Ali BulaçHiç şüphesiz o (Kur'an), şerefli bir elçinin kesin sözüdür

Yusuf AliThat this is verily the word of an honoured apostle

Saheeh InternationalAnd it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe

Yusuf AliIt is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe

Saheeh InternationalNor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember

Yusuf AliNor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive

Saheeh International[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

Yusuf Ali(This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalAnd if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings

Ali BulaçEğer o, Bize karşı bazı sözleri uydurup-söylemiş olsaydı

Yusuf AliAnd if the apostle were to invent any sayings in Our name

Saheeh InternationalWe would have seized him by the right hand

Ali BulaçMuhakkak onun sağ-elini (bütün güç ve kudretini) çekip-alıverirdik

Yusuf AliWe should certainly seize him by his right hand

Saheeh InternationalThen We would have cut from him the aorta

Ali BulaçSonra onun can damarını elbette keserdik

Yusuf AliAnd We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart

Saheeh InternationalAnd there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him

Ali BulaçO zaman, sizden hiç kimse araya girerek bunu kendisinden engelleyip-uzaklaştıramazdı

Yusuf AliNor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath)

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous

Ali BulaçÇünkü o (Kur'an, Allah'tan sakınan) muttakiler için bir öğüttür

Yusuf AliBut verily this is a Message for the God-fearing

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, We know that among you are deniers

Ali BulaçElbette Biz, içinizde yalanlayanların bulunduğunu biliyoruz

Yusuf AliAnd We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it)

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers

Ali BulaçGerçekten o (Kur'an), kafirler için bir hasrettir

Yusuf AliBut truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, it is the truth of certainty

Ali BulaçVe şüphesiz o, kesin bir gerçektir (hakku'l-yakîn)

Yusuf AliBut verily it is Truth of assured certainty

Saheeh InternationalSo exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great

Ali BulaçÖyleyse, büyük Rabbini ismiyle tesbih et

Yusuf AliSo glorify the name of thy Lord Most High
