71:1
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment

71:2
قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِنِّى لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner

71:3
أَنِ ٱعْبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ

Saheeh International[Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me

71:4
يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى‌ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ‌ۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAllah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew

71:5
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِى لَيْلاً وَنَهَارًا

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day

71:6
فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَآءِىٓ إِلَّا فِرَارًا

Saheeh InternationalBut my invitation increased them not except in flight

71:7
وَإِنِّى كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَـٰبِعَهُمْ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَٱسْتَغْشَوْاْ ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسْتَكْبَرُواْ ٱسْتِكْبَارًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance

71:8
ثُمَّ إِنِّى دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا

Saheeh InternationalThen I invited them publicly

71:9
ثُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَنتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا

Saheeh InternationalThen I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly

71:10
فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver

71:11
يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا

Saheeh InternationalHe will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers

71:12
وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٲلٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَـٰرًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers

71:13
مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا

Saheeh InternationalWhat is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur

71:14 📚 3
وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا

Saheeh InternationalWhile He has created you in stages

71:15 📚 3
أَلَمْ تَرَوْاْ كَيْفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٲتٍ طِبَاقًا

Saheeh InternationalDo you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers

71:16
وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp

71:17
وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth

71:18
ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا

Saheeh InternationalThen He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction

71:19
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah has made for you the earth an expanse

71:20
لِّتَسْلُكُواْ مِنْهَا سُبُلاً فِجَاجًا

Saheeh InternationalThat you may follow therein roads of passage

71:21
قَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِى وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

Saheeh InternationalNoah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss

71:22
وَمَكَرُواْ مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd they conspired an immense conspiracy

71:23
وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr

71:24
وَقَدْ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرًا‌ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَـٰلاً

Saheeh InternationalAnd already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error

71:25
مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٔـٰتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُواْ فَأُدْخِلُواْ نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارًا

Saheeh InternationalBecause of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers

71:26 📚 5
وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا

Saheeh InternationalAnd Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant

71:27 📚 1
إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever

71:28
رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٲلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا

Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction
