71. Nooh سُورَةُ نُوحٍ
Yusuf AliWe sent Noah to his People (with the Command): "Do thou warn thy People before there comes to them a grievous Penalty

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment
Yusuf AliHe said: "O my People! I am to you a Warner, clear and open

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner
Yusuf AliThat ye should worship God, fear Him and obey me

Saheeh International[Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me
Yusuf AliSo He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by God is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew
Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah'a kulluk edin; O'ndan sakının ve bana itaat edin ki Allah günahlarınızı size bağışlasın ve sizi belli bir süreye kadar ertelesin; doğrusu Allah'ın belirttiği süre gelince geri bırakılamaz; keşke bilseniz
Saheeh InternationalAllah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew
Yusuf AliHe said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day
Diyanet İşleri MealiNuh dedi ki: "Rabbim! Doğrusu ben, milletimi gece gündüz çağırdım
Saheeh InternationalHe said, "My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day
Yusuf AliBut my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right)
Diyanet İşleri MealiFakat benim çağırmam, sadece benden uzaklıklarını artırdı
Saheeh InternationalBut my invitation increased them not except in flight
Yusuf AliAnd every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance
Yusuf AliSo I have called to them aloud

Saheeh InternationalThen I invited them publicly
Yusuf AliFurther I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private

Saheeh InternationalThen I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly
Yusuf AliSaying, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver
Yusuf AliHe will send rain to you in abundance
Diyanet İşleri MealiDedim ki: "Rabbinizden bağışlanma dileyin; doğrusu O, çok bağışlayandır. Size gökten bol bol yağmur indirsin
Saheeh InternationalHe will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers
Yusuf AliGive you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water)
Diyanet İşleri MealiSizi, mallar ve oğullarla desteklesin; sizin için bahçeler var etsin, ırmaklar akıtsın
Saheeh InternationalAnd give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers
Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in God
Diyanet İşleri MealiNe oluyorsunuz ki Allah'a büyüklüğü yakıştıramıyorsunuz
Saheeh InternationalWhat is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur
Yusuf AliSeeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages
Diyanet İşleri MealiOysa sizi merhalelerden geçirerek O yaratmıştır
Saheeh InternationalWhile He has created you in stages
Yusuf AliSee ye not how God has created the seven heavens one above another
Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah'ın, göğü yedi kat üzerine nasıl yarattığını görmez misiniz
Saheeh InternationalDo you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers
Yusuf AliAnd made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp
Diyanet İşleri MealiAralarında aya aydınlık vermiş ve güneşin ışık saçmasını sağlamıştır
Saheeh InternationalAnd made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp
Yusuf AliAnd God has produced you from the earth growing (gradually)
Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah sizi yerden bitirir gibi yetiştirmiştir
Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth
Yusuf AliAnd in the End He will return you into the (earth), and raise you forth (again at the Resurrection)
Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra sizi oraya döndürür ve yine oradan çıkarır
Saheeh InternationalThen He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction
Yusuf AliAnd God has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah has made for you the earth an expanse
Yusuf AliThat ye may go about therein, in spacious roads

Yusuf AliNoah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss
Diyanet İşleri MealiNuh: "Rabbim! Doğrusu bunlar bana baş kaldırdılar ve malı, çocuğu kendisine sadece zarar getiren kimseye uydular; birbirinden büyük düzenler kurdular" dedi
Saheeh InternationalNoah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss
Yusuf AliAnd they have devised a tremendous Plot
Diyanet İşleri MealiNuh: "Rabbim! Doğrusu bunlar bana baş kaldırdılar ve malı, çocuğu kendisine sadece zarar getiren kimseye uydular; birbirinden büyük düzenler kurdular" dedi
Saheeh InternationalAnd they conspired an immense conspiracy
Yusuf AliAnd they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr
Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnsanlara: "Sakın tanrılarınızı bırakmayın, Ved, Suva, Yağus, Yeuk ve Nesr putlarından asla vazgeçmeyin" dediler
Saheeh InternationalAnd said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr
Yusuf AliThey have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong- doers but in straying (from their mark)
Diyanet İşleri MealiBöylece birçoğunu saptırdılar; Rabbim! Sen bu zalimlerin sadece şaşkınlığını artır
Saheeh InternationalAnd already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error
Yusuf AliBecause of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of God- none to help them
Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar, günahları yüzünden suda boğuldular; ateşe sokuldular, kendilerine Allah'tan başka yardımcı bulamadılar
Saheeh InternationalBecause of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers
Yusuf AliAnd Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth
Diyanet İşleri MealiNuh dedi ki: "Rabbim! Yeryüzünde hiçbir inkarcı bırakma
Saheeh InternationalAnd Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant
Yusuf AliFor, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones
Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu Sen onları bırakırsan kullarını saptırırlar; sadece ahlaksız ve çok inkarcıdan başkasını doğurup yetiştirmezler
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever
Yusuf AliO my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition
Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbim! Beni, anamı, babamı, evime inanmış olarak gireni, inanan erkek ve kadınları bağışla; zalimlerin de yalnız helakını artır
Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction
