77. Al-Mursalaat سُورَةُ المُرۡسَلَاتِ

Saheeh InternationalBy those [winds] sent forth in gusts

Saheeh InternationalAnd those [angels] who bring criterion

Yusuf AliThen separate them, one from another

Saheeh InternationalAnd those [angels] who deliver a message

Yusuf AliThen spread abroad a Message

Saheeh InternationalAs justification or warning

Yusuf AliWhether of Justification or of Warning

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, what you are promised is to occur

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHerhalde size vaad olunan kesinlikle olacaktır

Yusuf AliAssuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass

Saheeh InternationalSo when the stars are obliterated

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani o yıldızlar silindiği zaman

Yusuf AliThen when the stars become dim

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the heaven is opened

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGök yarıldığı zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the heaven is cleft asunder

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the mountains are blown away

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDağlar savrulduğu zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the messengers' time has come

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırElçiler, tayin edilen vakitlerine erdirildikleri zaman

Yusuf AliAnd when the apostles are (all) appointed a time (to collect)

Saheeh InternationalFor what Day was it postponed

Saheeh InternationalFor the Day of Judgement

Saheeh InternationalDid We not destroy the former peoples

Yusuf AliDid We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)

Saheeh InternationalThen We will follow them with the later ones

Yusuf AliSo shall We make later (generations) follow them

Saheeh InternationalThus do We deal with the criminals

Saheeh InternationalDid We not create you from a liquid disdained

Yusuf AliHave We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable

Saheeh InternationalAnd We placed it in a firm lodging

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnu sağlam bir yerde oturttuk

Yusuf AliThe which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed

Saheeh InternationalFor a known extent

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBelli bir süreye kadar

Yusuf AliFor a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)

Saheeh InternationalAnd We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDemek ki biçimlendirmişiz. Ne güzel biçimlendireniz biz

Yusuf AliFor We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things)

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Yusuf AliHave We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together

Saheeh InternationalOf the living and the dead

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGerek diriler, gerekse ölüler için

Yusuf AliThe living and the dead

Saheeh InternationalAnd We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOrada yüksek yüksek dağlar oturtup da size bir tatlı su sunmadık mı

Yusuf AliAnd made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Saheeh International[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Kıyameti yalanlayanlara şöyle denir): "Haydin gidin o yalanladığınız şeye doğru

Yusuf Ali(It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false

Saheeh InternationalProceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

Yusuf AliDepart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns

Saheeh International[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO, ne gölgelendirir, ne alevden korur

Yusuf Ali(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

Yusuf AliIndeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts

Saheeh InternationalAs if they were yellowish [black] camels

Yusuf AliAs if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Saheeh InternationalThis is a Day they will not speak

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBugün, konuşamıyacakları gündür

Yusuf AliThat will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak

Saheeh InternationalNor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKendilerine izin de verilmez ki, özür beyan etsinler

Yusuf AliNor will it be open to them to put forth pleas

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Saheeh InternationalThis is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

Yusuf AliThat will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)

Saheeh InternationalSo if you have a plan, then plan against Me

Yusuf AliNow, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKuşkusuz takva sahipleri gölgeler altında ve pınar başlarındadır

Yusuf AliAs to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water)

Saheeh InternationalAnd fruits from whatever they desire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırCanlarının çektiğinden türlü meyveler arasındadırlar

Yusuf AliAnd (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire

Saheeh International[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlara): "Yaptıklarınıza karşılık afiyetle yiyin, için" (denir)

Yusuf AliEat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz güzel amel işleyenleri böyle mükafatlandırırız

Yusuf AliThus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Yusuf AliAh woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth

Saheeh International[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYiyin, zevklenin biraz, çünkü siz suçlularsınız

Yusuf Ali(O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners

Yusuf AliThen what Message, after that, will they believe in
