84. Al-Inshiqaaq سُورَةُ الانشِقَاقِ

Saheeh InternationalWhen the sky has split [open]

Saheeh InternationalAnd has cast out that within it and relinquished [it]

Yusuf AliAnd casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty

Saheeh InternationalAnd has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so]

Yusuf AliAnd hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality)

Saheeh InternationalO mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEy insan! Kuşkusuz sen Rabbine doğru çaba üstüne çaba sarfetmektesin, nihayet O'na varacaksın

Yusuf AliO thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him

Saheeh InternationalThen as for he who is given his record in his right hand

Saheeh InternationalBut as for he who is given his record behind his back

Saheeh InternationalAnd [enter to] burn in a Blaze

Yusuf AliAnd he will enter a Blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he had [once] been among his people in happiness

Yusuf AliTruly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah]

Yusuf AliTruly, did he think that he would not have to return (to Us)

Saheeh InternationalBut yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHayır Rabbi onu görmekte idi

Yusuf AliNay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him

Saheeh InternationalSo I swear by the twilight glow

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞimdi, yemin ederim o şafağa

Yusuf AliSo I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the night and what it envelops

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGeceye ve içinde barındırdığı şeylere

Yusuf AliThe Night and its Homing

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the moon when it becomes full

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerlendiği zaman o aya

Yusuf AliAnd the Moon in her fullness

Saheeh International[That] you will surely experience state after state

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKi, siz elbette halden hale geçeceksiniz

Yusuf AliYe shall surely travel from stage to stage

Saheeh InternationalSo what is [the matter] with them [that] they do not believe

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBöyleyken onlar neden acaba iman etmezler

Yusuf AliWhat then is the matter with them, that they believe not

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKarşılarında Kur'ân okunduğu vakit secde etmezler

Yusuf AliAnd when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate

Saheeh InternationalBut those who have disbelieved deny

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAksine o nankörler yalanlıyorlar

Yusuf AliBut on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it)

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOysa Allah içlerinde sakladıklarını biliyor

Yusuf AliBut God has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts)

Saheeh InternationalSo give them tidings of a painful punishment

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnun için onlara elem verici bir azabı müjdele

Yusuf AliSo announce to them a Penalty Grievous

Saheeh InternationalExcept for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted

Yusuf AliExcept to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail
