92. Al-Lail سُورَةُ اللَّيۡلِ

Saheeh InternationalBy the night when it covers

Ali BulaçSarıp-örttüğü zaman geceye andolsun

Yusuf AliBy the Night as it conceals (the light)

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the day when it appears

Ali BulaçParıldayıp-aydınlandığı zaman gündüze

Yusuf AliBy the Day as it appears in glory

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] He who created the male and female

Ali BulaçErkeği ve dişiyi yaratana

Yusuf AliBy (the mystery of) the creation of male and female

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your efforts are diverse

Ali BulaçGerçekten sizin çabalarınız (çelişkili, parça parça) darmadağınıktır

Yusuf AliVerily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse

Saheeh InternationalAs for he who gives and fears Allah

Ali BulaçFakat kim verir ve korkup-sakınırsa

Yusuf AliSo he who gives (in charity) and fears (God)

Saheeh InternationalAnd believes in the best [reward]

Ali BulaçVe en güzel olanı doğrularsa

Yusuf AliAnd (in all sincerity) testifies to the best

Saheeh InternationalWe will ease him toward ease

Ali BulaçBiz de onu kolay olan için başarılı kılacağız

Yusuf AliWe will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss

Saheeh InternationalBut as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

Ali BulaçKim de cimrilik eder, kendini müstağni görürse

Yusuf AliBut he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient

Saheeh InternationalAnd denies the best [reward]

Ali BulaçVe en güzel olanı yalan sayarsa

Yusuf AliAnd gives the lie to the best

Saheeh InternationalWe will ease him toward difficulty

Ali BulaçBiz de ona en zorlu olanı (azaba uğramasını) kolaylaştıracağız

Yusuf AliWe will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery

Saheeh InternationalAnd what will his wealth avail him when he falls

Ali BulaçTereddi edeceği (başaşağı düşüşe uğrayacağı) zaman, malı ona hiç yarar sağlamaz

Yusuf AliNor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz, Bize ait olan, yol göstermektir

Yusuf AliVerily We take upon Ourselves to guide

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]

Ali BulaçGerçekten, son da, ilk de (ahiret ve dünya) Bizimdir

Yusuf AliAnd verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning

Saheeh InternationalSo I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing

Ali BulaçArtık sizi, 'alevleri kabardıkça kabaran' bir ateşle uyardım

Yusuf AliTherefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely

Saheeh InternationalNone will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one

Ali BulaçOna, ancak en bedbaht olandan başkası yollanmaz

Yusuf AliNone shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones

Saheeh InternationalWho had denied and turned away

Ali BulaçKi o, yalanlamış ve yüz çevirmişti

Yusuf AliWho give the lie to Truth and turn their backs

Saheeh InternationalBut the righteous one will avoid it

Ali BulaçSakınan ise, ondan uzak tutulacaktır

Yusuf AliBut those most devoted to God shall be removed far from it

Saheeh International[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

Ali BulaçKi o, malını vererek temizlenip-arınır

Yusuf AliThose who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification

Saheeh InternationalAnd not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded

Ali BulaçOnun yanında hiç kimsenin karşılığı verilecek bir nimeti (borcu) yoktur

Yusuf AliAnd have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return

Saheeh InternationalBut only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High

Ali BulaçAncak Yüce Rabbinin rızasını aramak için (verir)

Yusuf AliBut only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High

Saheeh InternationalAnd he is going to be satisfied

Ali BulaçMuhakkak kendisi de ileride razı olacaktır

Yusuf AliAnd soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction
