92. Al-Lail سُورَةُ اللَّيۡلِ

Saheeh InternationalBy the night when it covers

Süleyman AteşÖrttüğü zaman geceye andolsun

Yusuf AliBy the Night as it conceals (the light)

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the day when it appears

Süleyman AteşGöründüğü zaman gündüze andolsun

Yusuf AliBy the Day as it appears in glory

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] He who created the male and female

Süleyman AteşErkeği ve dişiyi yaratana andolsun ki

Yusuf AliBy (the mystery of) the creation of male and female

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your efforts are diverse

Süleyman AteşSizin işiniz çeşit çeşittir

Yusuf AliVerily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse

Saheeh InternationalAs for he who gives and fears Allah

Süleyman AteşKim (hayır için) verir, korunursa

Yusuf AliSo he who gives (in charity) and fears (God)

Saheeh InternationalAnd believes in the best [reward]

Süleyman AteşVe en güzel(söz)ü doğrularsa

Yusuf AliAnd (in all sincerity) testifies to the best

Saheeh InternationalWe will ease him toward ease

Süleyman AteşOna en kolay(yolda gitmey)i kolaylaştırırız

Yusuf AliWe will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss

Saheeh InternationalBut as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

Süleyman AteşKim de cimrilik eder, kendini zengin (ve kendine yeterli) görürse

Yusuf AliBut he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient

Saheeh InternationalAnd denies the best [reward]

Süleyman AteşVe en güzel(söz)ü de yalanlarsa

Yusuf AliAnd gives the lie to the best

Saheeh InternationalWe will ease him toward difficulty

Süleyman AteşOna da en güç(yolda gitmey)i kolaylaştırırız

Yusuf AliWe will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery

Saheeh InternationalAnd what will his wealth avail him when he falls

Süleyman AteşÇukura düştüğü zaman malı ona hiçbir fayda sağlamaz

Yusuf AliNor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance

Süleyman AteşDoğru yola iletmek bize aittir

Yusuf AliVerily We take upon Ourselves to guide

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]

Süleyman AteşSon da ilk de (ahiret de dünya da) bizimdir

Yusuf AliAnd verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning

Saheeh InternationalSo I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing

Süleyman AteşBen sizi alev saçan bir ateşe karşı uyardım

Yusuf AliTherefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely

Saheeh InternationalNone will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one

Süleyman AteşOna ancak haydut olan girer

Yusuf AliNone shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones

Saheeh InternationalWho had denied and turned away

Süleyman AteşO ki, yalanlandı ve sırtını döndü

Yusuf AliWho give the lie to Truth and turn their backs

Saheeh InternationalBut the righteous one will avoid it

Süleyman AteşEn çok korunan da ondan uzak tutulur

Yusuf AliBut those most devoted to God shall be removed far from it

Saheeh International[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

Süleyman AteşO ki malını hayra vererek arınır, yücelir

Yusuf AliThose who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification

Saheeh InternationalAnd not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded

Süleyman AteşVe onun yanında, hiç kimsenin karşılık verilecek bir ni'meti yoktur (o, verdiğini kendisine yapılan bir iyiliğin karşılığı olarak değil)

Yusuf AliAnd have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return

Saheeh InternationalBut only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High

Süleyman AteşYalnız yüce Rabbinin rızası için verir

Yusuf AliBut only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High

Saheeh InternationalAnd he is going to be satisfied

Süleyman AteşYakında kendisi de (Allah'ın verceği ni'metle) razı olacaktır

Yusuf AliAnd soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction
