96. Al-Alaq سُورَةُ العَلَقِ

Saheeh InternationalRecite in the name of your Lord who created

Yusuf AliProclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created

Süleyman AteşYaratan Rabbinin adıyle oku

Saheeh InternationalCreated man from a clinging substance

Yusuf AliCreated man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood

Süleyman AteşO, insanı alaktan (embriyodan) yarattı

Saheeh InternationalRecite, and your Lord is the most Generous

Yusuf AliProclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful

Süleyman AteşOku, Rabbin en büyük kerem sahibidir

Saheeh InternationalWho taught by the pen

Yusuf AliHe Who taught (the use of) the pen

Süleyman AteşO ki kalemle (yazmayı) öğretti

Saheeh InternationalTaught man that which he knew not

Yusuf AliTaught man that which he knew not

Süleyman Ateşİnsana bilmediğini öğretti

Saheeh InternationalNo! [But] indeed, man transgresses

Yusuf AliDay, but man doth transgress all bounds

Süleyman AteşHayır, (Rabbinin bu kadar iyiliğine rağmen yine) insan azar

Saheeh InternationalBecause he sees himself self-sufficient

Yusuf AliIn that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient

Süleyman AteşKendini zengin (kendine yeterli) gördüğü için

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, to your Lord is the return

Yusuf AliVerily, to thy Lord is the return (of all)

Süleyman AteşAma dönüş Rabbinedir (O'nun huzurunda bu azgınlığının hesabını verecektir)

Saheeh InternationalHave you seen the one who forbids

Yusuf AliSeest thou one who forbids

Süleyman AteşGördün mü şu men'edeni

Saheeh InternationalA servant when he prays

Yusuf AliA votary when he (turns) to pray

Süleyman AteşNamaz kılarken bir kulu (namazdan)

Saheeh InternationalHave you seen if he is upon guidance

Yusuf AliSeest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance

Süleyman AteşGördün mü, ya o (kul) doğru yolda olur

Saheeh InternationalOr enjoins righteousness

Yusuf AliOr enjoins Righteousness

Süleyman AteşYahut kötülüklerden korunmayı emrederse

Saheeh InternationalHave you seen if he denies and turns away

Yusuf AliSeest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away

Süleyman AteşGördün mü, ya bu (adam, hakkı) yalanlar yüz çevirirse? (O zaman bu yaptığı kendisi için iyi mi olur)

Saheeh InternationalDoes he not know that Allah sees

Yusuf AliKnoweth he not that God doth see

Süleyman AteşAllah'ın (daima kendisini) gördüğünü bilmedi mi (o)

Saheeh InternationalNo! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock

Yusuf AliLet him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock

Süleyman AteşHayır, (olmaz böyle şey), eğer bundan vazgeçmezse (onu) perçem(in)den yakalar(ateşe sürükler)iz

Saheeh InternationalA lying, sinning forelock

Yusuf AliA lying, sinful forelock

Süleyman AteşO yalancı, günahkar perçem(den)

Saheeh InternationalThen let him call his associates

Yusuf AliThen, let him call (for help) to his council (of comrades)

Süleyman AteşO zaman (o gitsin) de meclisini (adamlarını) çağırsın

Saheeh InternationalWe will call the angels of Hell

Yusuf AliWe will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)

Süleyman AteşBiz de zebanileri çağıracağız

Saheeh InternationalNo! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]

Yusuf AliDay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to God)

Süleyman AteşHayır, ona boyun eğme; (Rabbine) secde et ve yaklaş
