23:1

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

Saheeh InternationalCertainly will the believers have succeeded

Yusuf AliThe believers must (eventually) win through

Diyanet İşleri MealiMüminler saadete ermişlerdir

23:2 📚 1

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَٰشِعُونَ

Saheeh InternationalThey who are during their prayer humbly submissive

Yusuf AliThose who humble themselves in their prayers

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar namazda huşu içindedirler

23:3 📚 6

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they who turn away from ill speech

Yusuf AliWho avoid vain talk

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar boş şeylerden yüz çevirirler

23:4

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَٰعِلُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they who are observant of zakah

Yusuf AliWho are active in deeds of charity

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar zekatlarını verirler

23:5

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَٰفِظُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they who guard their private parts

Yusuf AliWho abstain from sex

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar, eşleri ve cariyeleri dışında, mahrem yerlerini herkesten korurlar. Doğrusu bunlar yerilemezler

23:6

إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ

Saheeh InternationalExcept from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed

Yusuf AliExcept with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar, eşleri ve cariyeleri dışında, mahrem yerlerini herkesten korurlar. Doğrusu bunlar yerilemezler

23:7

فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ

Saheeh InternationalBut whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors

Yusuf AliBut those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors

Diyanet İşleri MealiBu sınırları aşmak isteyenler, işte bunlar aşırı gidenlerdir

23:8

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive

Yusuf AliThose who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar emanetlerini ve sözlerini yerine getirirler

23:9 📚 4

وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَٰتِهِمۡ يُحَافِظُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they who carefully maintain their prayers

Yusuf AliAnd who (strictly) guard their prayers

Diyanet İşleri MealiNamazlarına riayet ederler

23:10

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ

Saheeh InternationalThose are the inheritors

Yusuf AliThese will be the heirs

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİşte onlar, temelli kalacakları Firdevs cennetine varis olanlardır

23:11

ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسَ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

Saheeh InternationalWho will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally

Yusuf AliWho will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever)

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİşte onlar, temelli kalacakları Firdevs cennetine varis olanlardır

23:12

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن سُلَٰلَةࣲ مِّن طِينࣲ‏

Saheeh InternationalAnd certainly did We create man from an extract of clay

Yusuf AliMan We did create from a quintessence (of clay)

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki, insanı süzme çamurdan yarattık

23:13

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ نُطۡفَةࣰ فِي قَرَارࣲ مَّكِينࣲ‏

Saheeh InternationalThen We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging

Yusuf AliThen We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra onu nutfe halinde sağlam bir yere yerleştirdik

23:14 📚 3

ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَٰمࣰ ا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَٰمَ لَحۡمࣰ ا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

Saheeh InternationalThen We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators

Yusuf AliThen We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be God, the best t o create

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra nutfeyi kan pıhtısına çevirdik, kan pıhtısını bir çiğnemlik et yaptık, bir çiğnemlik etten kemikler yarattık, kemiklere de et giydirdik. Sonra onu başka bir yaratık yaptık: Biçim verenlerin en güzeli olan Allah ne uludur

23:15 📚 4

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, after that you are to die

Yusuf AliAfter that, at length ye will die

Diyanet İşleri MealiSizler, bütün bunlardan sonra ölürsünüz

23:16

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ تُبۡعَثُونَ

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected

Yusuf AliAgain, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up

Diyanet İşleri MealiŞüphesiz kıyamet günü tekrar diriltilirsiniz

23:17

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَآئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَٰفِلِينَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware

Yusuf AliAnd We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki, üstünüzde yedi tabaka yarattık. Biz, yarattığımızdan habersiz değiliz

23:18 📚 1

وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرࣲ فَأَسۡكَنَّٰهُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَٰدِرُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away

Yusuf AliAnd We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease)

Diyanet İşleri MealiGökten suyu ölçülü indirdik de, onu yerde durdurduk. Şüphesiz onu gidermeye de kadiriz

23:19

فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتࣲ مِّن نَّخِيلࣲ وَأَعۡنَٰبࣲ لَّكُمۡ فِيهَا فَوَٰكِهُ كَثِيرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat

Yusuf AliWith it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment)

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnunla, içinde, yediğiniz birçok meyvalar bulunan hurmalık ve üzüm bağları, Tur-i Sina'da yetişen, yiyenlere, yağ ve katık veren zeytin ağacını var ettik

23:20 📚 1

وَشَجَرَةࣰ تَخۡرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيۡنَآءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهۡنِ وَصِبۡغࣲ لِّلۡأٓكِلِينَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat

Yusuf AliAlso a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnunla, içinde, yediğiniz birçok meyvalar bulunan hurmalık ve üzüm bağları, Tur-i Sina'da yetişen, yiyenlere, yağ ve katık veren zeytin ağacını var ettik

23:21 📚 1

وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةࣰۖ نُّسۡقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ كَثِيرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat

Yusuf AliAnd in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat

Diyanet İşleri MealiEhli hayvanlarda size ders vardır; onlardan çıkan sütten size içiririz; onlarda daha birçok menfaatiniz vardır. Onlardan yersiniz

23:22 📚 2

وَعَلَيۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd upon them and on ships you are carried

Yusuf AliAn on them, as well as in slips, ye side

Diyanet İşleri MealiHem onların ve hem de gemilerin üzerinde taşınırsınız

23:23

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him

Yusuf Ali(Further, We sent a long line of prophets for your instruction). We sent Noah to his people: He said, "O my people! worship God! Ye have no other god but Him. Will ye not fear (Him)

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki Nuh'u milletine gönderdik; onlara: "Ey milletim! Allah'a kulluk edin; O'ndan başka tanrınız yoktur; sakınmaz mısınız?" dedi

23:24

فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةࣰ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِيٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Saheeh InternationalBut the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "This is not but a man like yourselves who wishes to take precedence over you; and if Allah had willed [to send a messenger], He would have sent down angels. We have not heard of this among our forefathers

Yusuf AliThe chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if God had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a th ing (as he says), among our ancestors of old

Diyanet İşleri MealiMilletinin inkarcı ileri gelenleri: "Bu, sizin gibi bir insandan başka birşey değildir. Sizden üstün olmak istiyor. Allah dilemiş olsaydı melekler indirirdi. İlk atalarımızdan beri böyle birşey işitmedik. Bu adamda nedense biraz delilik var, bir süreye kadar onu gözetleyin" dediler

23:25

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلُۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِينࣲ‏

Saheeh InternationalHe is not but a man possessed with madness, so wait concerning him for a time

Yusuf Ali(And some said): "He is only a man possessed: wait (and have patience) with him for a time

23:26

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ

Saheeh International[Noah] said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me

Yusuf Ali(Noah) said: "O my Lord! help me: for that they accuse me of falsehood

Diyanet İşleri MealiNuh: "Rabbim! Beni yalanlamalarına karşılık bana yardım et" dedi

23:27 📚 2

فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ أَنِ ٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَا وَوَحۡيِنَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسۡلُكۡ فِيهَا مِن كُلࣲّ زَوۡجَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَا تُخَٰطِبۡنِي فِي ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ

Saheeh InternationalSo We inspired to him, "Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned

Yusuf AliSo We inspired him (with this message): "Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy fam ily- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood)

Diyanet İşleri MealiBunun üzerine ona şöyle vahyettik: "Nezaretimiz altında, sana bildirdiğimiz gibi gemiyi yap; buyruğumuz gelip tandırdan sular kaynayınca her cinsten birer çifti ve aleyhine hüküm verilmiş olanın dışında kalan çoluk çocuğunu alıp gemiye bindir. Haksızlık yapanlar için Bana baş vurma, çünkü onlar suda boğulacaklardır

23:28 📚 1

فَإِذَا ٱسۡتَوَيۡتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ فَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd when you have boarded the ship, you and those with you, then say, 'Praise to Allah who has saved us from the wrongdoing people

Yusuf AliAnd when thou hast embarked on the Ark - thou and those with thee,- say: "Praise be to God, Who has saved us from the people who do wrong

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy Nuh! Sen ve beraberindekiler gemiye yerleşince: "Bizi zalim milletten kurtaran Allah'a hamdolsun" de

23:29

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلۡنِي مُنزَلࣰ ا مُّبَارَكࣰ ا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِينَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us]

Yusuf AliAnd say: "O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbim! Beni mübarek bir yere indir. Sen indirenlerin en iyisisin" de

23:30

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبۡتَلِينَ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed in that are signs, and indeed, We are ever testing [Our servants]

Yusuf AliVerily in this there are Signs (for men to understand); (thus) do We try (men)

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu bunlarda dersler vardır. Biz şüphesiz insanları denemekteyiz

23:31

ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

Saheeh InternationalThen We produced after them a generation of others

Yusuf AliThen We raised after them another generation

Diyanet İşleri MealiBunların ardından başka nesiller varettik

23:32

فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِمۡ رَسُولࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd We sent among them a messenger from themselves, [saying], "Worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him

Yusuf AliAnd We sent to them an apostle from among themselves, (saying), "Worship God! ye have no other god but Him. Will ye not fear (Him)

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlara aralarından: "Allah"a kulluk edin, O'ndan başka tanrınız yoktur, sakınmaz mısınız?" diyen bir elçi gönderdik

23:33 📚 1

وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَآءِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَتۡرَفۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ يَأۡكُلُ مِمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ مِنۡهُ وَيَشۡرَبُ مِمَّا تَشۡرَبُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd the eminent among his people who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter while We had given them luxury in the worldly life said, "This is not but a man like yourselves. He eats of that from which you eat and drinks of what you drink

Yusuf AliAnd the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of wha t ye drink

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnun, inkarcı ve ahirete kavuşmayı yalanlayan milletinin ileri gelenleri ki Biz onlara bu dünya hayatında nimet vermiştik şöyle dediler: "Bu, yediğinizden yiyen, içtiğinizden içen sizin gibi bir insandan başka birşey değildir

23:34

وَلَئِنۡ أَطَعۡتُم بَشَرࣰ ا مِّثۡلَكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذࣰ ا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ

Saheeh InternationalAnd if you should obey a man like yourselves, indeed, you would then be losers

Yusuf AliIf ye obey a man like yourselves, behold, it is certain ye will be lost

Diyanet İşleri MealiKendiniz gibi bir insana itaat ederseniz hüsrana uğrayacağınızda hiç şüphe yoktur

23:35

أَيَعِدُكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ إِذَا مِتُّمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخۡرَجُونَ

Saheeh InternationalDoes he promise you that when you have died and become dust and bones that you will be brought forth [once more]

Yusuf AliDoes he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)

Diyanet İşleri MealiÖldüğünüz, toprak ve kemik yığını olduğunuz zaman tekrar dirilmenizle sizi tehdit mi ediyor

23:36 📚 4

۞هَيۡهَاتَ هَيۡهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ

Saheeh InternationalHow far, how far, is that which you are promised

Yusuf AliFar, very far is that which ye are promised

Diyanet İşleri MealiOysa tehdit edildiğiniz şey ne kadar, hem de ne kadar uzak
