Yusuf AliThose who establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity, and have (in their hearts) the assurance of the Hereafter

Saheeh InternationalWho establish prayer and give zakah, and they, of the Hereafter, are certain [in faith]

Ali Bulaçİşte onlar, Rab'lerinden bir hidayet üzerindedirler ve felah bulanlar da onlardır

Yusuf AliThese are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper

Saheeh InternationalThose are on [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful

Yusuf AliBut there are, among men, those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of God and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a Humiliating Penalty

Saheeh InternationalAnd of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment

Ali BulaçOna ayetlerimiz okunduğunda, sanki işitmiyormuş ve kulaklarında bir ağırlık varmış gibi, büyüklük taslayarak (müstekbirce) sırtını çevirir. Artık sen ona acı bir azap ile müjde ver

Yusuf AliWhen Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty

Saheeh InternationalAnd when our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment

Ali Bulaç(Ancak) Gerçekten iman edip salih amellerde bulunanlar ise; onlar için nimetlerle-donatılmış cennetler vardır

Yusuf AliFor those who believe and work righteous deeds, there will be Gardens of Bliss

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are the Gardens of Pleasure

Saheeh InternationalWherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

Yusuf AliHe created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth ev ery kind of noble creature, in pairs

Saheeh InternationalHe created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind

Ali BulaçBu, Allah'ın yaratmasıdır. Şu halde, O'nun dışında olanların yarattıklarını Bana gösterin. Hayır, zulmedenler, açıkça bir sapıklık içindedirler

Yusuf AliSuch is the Creation of God: now show Me what is there that others besides Him have created: nay, but the Transgressors are in manifest error

Saheeh InternationalThis is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error

Ali BulaçAndolsun, Lukman'a "Allah'a şükret" diye hikmet verdik. Kim şükrederse, artık o, kendi lehine şükreder. Kim inkar ederse, artık şüphesiz, (Allah,) Gani (hiç kimseye ve hiçbir şeye muhtaç olmayan)dır, Hamiddir (hamd yalnızca O'na aittir)

Yusuf Aliwe bestowed (in the past) Wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to God." Any who is (so) grateful does so to the profit of his own soul: but if any is ungrateful, verily God is free of all wants, Worthy of all praise

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], "Be grateful to Allah." And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy

Ali BulaçHani Lukman oğluna -öğüt vererek- demişti ki; "Ey oğlum, Allah'a şirk koşma. Şüphesiz şirk, gerçekten büyük bir zulümdür

Yusuf AliBehold, Luqman said to his son by way of instruction: "O my son! join not in worship (others) with God: for false worship is indeed the highest wrong-doing

Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him, "O my son, do not associate [anything] with Allah. Indeed, association [with him] is great injustice

Ali BulaçBiz insana anne ve babasını (onlara iyilikle davranmayı) tavsiye ettik. Annesi onu, zorluk üstüne zorlukla (karnında) taşımıştır. Onun (sütten) ayrılması, iki yıl içindedir. "Hem Bana, hem anne ve babana şükret, dönüş yalnız Banadır

Yusuf AliAnd We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination

Ali BulaçBununla birlikte, onların ikisi (annen ve baban) hakkında bir bilgin olmayan şeyi Bana şirk koşman için, sana karşı çaba harcayacak olurlarsa, bu durumda onlara itaat etme ve dünya (hayatın) da onlara iyilikle (ma'ruf üzere) sahiplen (onlarla geçin) ve Bana 'gönülden-katıksız olarak yönelenin' yoluna tabi ol. Yusuf AliBut if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the e nd the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did

Saheeh InternationalBut if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance]. Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do

Ali BulaçEy oğlum, (yaptığın iş) gerçekten bir hardal tanesi ağırlığında olsa da, (bu,) ister bir kaya parçasından ya da göklerde veya yer(in derinliklerinde) de bulunsa bile, Allah onu getirir (açığa çıkarır). Şüphesiz Allah, latif olandır, (herşeyden) haberdardır

Yusuf AliO my son!" (said Luqman), "If there be (but) the weight of a mustard-seed and it were (hidden) in a rock, or (anywhere) in the heavens or on earth, God will bring it forth: for God understands the finest mysteries, (and) is well-acquainted (wi th them)

Saheeh International[And Luqman said], "O my son, indeed if wrong should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Indeed, Allah is Subtle and Acquainted

Ali BulaçEy oğlum, namazı dosdoğru kıl, ma'rufu emret, münkerden sakındır ve sana isabet eden (musibetler)e karşı sabret. Çünkü bunlar, azmedilmesi gereken işlerdendir

Yusuf AliO my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just, and forbid what is wrong: and bear with patient constancy whatever betide thee; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs

Saheeh InternationalO my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination

Ali Bulaçİnsanlara yanağını çevirip (büyüklenme) ve böbürlenmiş olarak yeryüzünde yürüme. Çünkü Allah, büyüklük taslayıp böbürleneni sevmez

Yusuf AliAnd swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for God loveth not any arrogant boaster

Saheeh InternationalAnd do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful

Ali BulaçYürüyüşünde orta bir yol tut, sesinden de (yüksek perdeleri) eksilt. Çünkü, seslerin en çirkin olanı gerçekten eşeklerin sesidir

Yusuf AliAnd be moderate in thy pace, and lower thy voice; for the harshest of sounds without doubt is the braying of the ass

Saheeh InternationalAnd be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys

Ali BulaçGörmüyor musunuz ki, şüphesiz Allah, göklerde ve yerde olanları emrinize amade kılmış, açık ve gizli sizin üzerinizdeki nimetlerini genişletip-tamamlamıştır. (Buna rağmen) İnsanlardan öyleleri vardır ki, hiçbir ilme dayanmadan, bir yol gösterici ve aydınlatıcı bir kitap olmadan Allah hakkında mücadele edip durur

Yusuf AliDo ye not see that God has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about God, without knowle dge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them

Saheeh InternationalDo you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him]

Ali BulaçOnlara; "Allah'ın indirdiklerine uyun" denildiğinde, derler ki; "Hayır, biz atalarımızı üzerinde bulduğumuz şeye uyarız." Şayet şeytan, onları çılgınca yanan ateşin azabına çağırmışsa da mı (buna uyacaklar)

Yusuf AliWhen they are told to follow the (Revelation) that God has sent down, they say: "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze

Ali BulaçKim ihsanda bulunan (biri) olarak yüzünü (kendini) Allah'a teslim ederse, artık gerçekten o kopmayan bir kulpa yapışmıştır. Bütün işlerin sonu Allah'a varır

Yusuf AliWhoever submits his whole self to God, and is a doer of good, has grasped indeed the most trustworthy hand-hold: and with God rests the End and Decision of (all) affairs

Saheeh InternationalAnd whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters

Ali BulaçKim de inkar ederse, artık onun inkarı seni hüzne kaptırmasın. Onların dönüşü Bizedir, artık Biz de onlara yaptıklarını haber vereceğiz. Şüphesiz Allah, sinelerin özünde saklı olanı bilendir

Yusuf AliBut if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for God knows well all that is in (men's) hearts

Saheeh InternationalAnd whoever has disbelieved - let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return, and We will inform them of what they did. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts

Ali BulaçBiz onları az (bir şey ve zaman) olarak metalandırıp yararlandırırız, sonra onları ağır bir azaba katlandırırız

Yusuf AliWe grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting

Saheeh InternationalWe grant them enjoyment for a little; then We will force them to a massive punishment

Ali BulaçAndolsun onlara; "Gökleri ve yeri kim yarattı?" diye soracak olsan, tartışmasız; "Allah" diyecekler. De ki; "Hamd Allah'ındır." Hayır, onların çoğu bilmezler

Yusuf AliIf thou ask them, who it is that created the heavens and the earth. They will certainly say, "God". Say: "Praise be to God!" But most of them understand not

Saheeh InternationalAnd if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah "; but most of them do not know

Ali BulaçGöklerde ve yerde olanlar Allah'ındır. Şüphesiz Allah, Gani (hiç kimseye ve hiçbir şeye muhtaç olmayan)dır, Hamid (hamd da yalnızca O'na ait)tir

Yusuf AliTo God belong all things in heaven and earth: verily God is He (that is) free of all wants, worthy of all praise

Saheeh InternationalTo Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy

Ali BulaçEğer yeryüzündeki ağaçların tümü kalem ve deniz de -onun ardından yedi deniz daha eklenerek- (mürekkep) olsa, yine de Allah'ın kelimeleri (yazmakla) tükenmez. Şüphesiz Allah, üstün ve güçlüdür, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir

Yusuf AliAnd if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of God be exhausted (in the writing): for God is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom

Saheeh InternationalAnd if whatever trees upon the earth were pens and the sea [was ink], replenished thereafter by seven [more] seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise

Ali BulaçSizin yaratılmanız ve diriltilmeniz yalnızca tek bir kişi(yi yaratıp sonra diriltmek) gibidir. Şüphesiz Allah, işitendir, görendir

Yusuf AliAnd your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for God is He Who hears and sees (all things)

Saheeh InternationalYour creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing

Ali BulaçGörmüyor musun ki, gerçekten Allah, geceyi gündüze bağlayıp-katar, gündüzü de geceye bağlayıp-katar. Güneş ile ayı emre amade kılmıştır. Her biri, adı konulmuş bir süreye kadar akıp gider. Allah yaptıklarınızdan haberdardır

Yusuf AliSeest thou not that God merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to his Law), each running its course for a term appointed; and that God is well-acquainted with all that ye do

Saheeh InternationalDo you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, with whatever you do, is Acquainted

Ali Bulaçİşte-böyle; şüphesiz Allah, O, Hak olandır ve şüphesiz O'nun dışında taptıkları (tanrılar) ise, batıldır. Şüphesiz Allah, Yücedir, büyüktür

Yusuf AliThat is because God is the (only) Reality, and because whatever else they invoke besides Him is Falsehood; and because God,- He is the Most High, Most Great

Saheeh InternationalThat is because Allah is the Truth, and that what they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allah is the Most High, the Grand

Ali BulaçGörmüyor musun ki, size ayetlerinden (bazılarını) göstermesi için, gemiler Allah'ın nimetiyle denizde akıp gitmektedir! Hiç şüphesiz bunda, çok sabreden, çok şükreden için gerçekten ayetler vardır

Yusuf AliSeest thou not that the ships sail through the ocean by the Grace of God?- that He may show you of His Signs? Verily in this are Signs for all who constantly persevere and give thanks

Saheeh InternationalDo you not see that ships sail through the sea by the favor of Allah that He may show you of His signs? Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful

Ali BulaçOnları kara gölgeler gibi dalgalar sarıverdiği zaman, dini yalnızca O'na 'halis kılan gönülden bağlılar' olarak Allah'a yalvarıp yakarırlar (dua ederler). Böylece onları karaya çıkarıp-kurtarınca, artık onlardan bir kısmı orta yolu tutuyor. Bizim ayetlerimizi gaddar, nankör olandan başkası inkar etmez

Yusuf AliWhen a wave covers them like the canopy (of clouds), they call to God, offering Him sincere devotion. But when He has delivered them safely to land, there are among them those that halt between (right and wrong). But none reject Our Signs exce pt only a perfidious ungrateful (wretch)

Saheeh InternationalAnd when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful

Ali BulaçEy insanlar, Rabbinizden korkup-sakının ve öyle bir günün azabından çekinip-korkun ki, (o gün hiç) bir baba, çocuğu için bir karşılık veremez ve (hiç)bir çocuk da babası için bir şeyi verebilecek (durumda) değildir. Şüphesiz Allah'ın va'di haktır. Artık dünya hayatı sizi aldatmaya sürüklemesin ve aldatıcı(lar) da sizi Allah ile aldatmasın

Yusuf AliO mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of God is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the c hief Deceiver deceive you about God

Saheeh InternationalO mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver

Ali BulaçKıyamet saatinin bilgisi, şüphesiz Allah'ın Katındadır. Yağmuru yağdırır; rahimlerde olanı bilir. Hiç kimse, yarın ne kazanacağını bilmez. Hiç kimse de, hangi yerde öleceğini bilmez. Hiç şüphesiz Allah bilendir, haberdardır

Yusuf AliVerily the knowledge of the Hour is with God (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does any one know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does any one know in what land he is to die. Veril y with God is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted
