Yusuf AliWho forgiveth sin, accepteth repentance, is strict in punishment, and hath a long reach (in all things). there is no god but He: to Him is the final goal

Saheeh InternationalThe forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination

Ali BulaçGünahı bağışlayan, tevbeyi kabul eden, cezası pek şiddetli olan ve lütuf sahibi (Allah'tan). O'ndan başka İlah yoktur. Dönüş O'nadır

Yusuf AliNone can dispute about the Signs of God but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee

Saheeh InternationalNo one disputes concerning the signs of Allah except those who disbelieve, so be not deceived by their [uninhibited] movement throughout the land

Ali BulaçAllah'ın ayetleri konusunda inkar edenlerden başkası mücadele etmez. Öyleyse onların şehirlerde dönüp dolaşması seni aldatmasın

Yusuf AliBut (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital

Saheeh InternationalThe people of Noah denied before them and the [disbelieving] factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty

Ali BulaçKendilerinden önce Nuh kavmi de yalanladı ve kendilerinden sonra (sayısı çok) fırkalar da. Her ümmet, kendi elçilerini (susturmak için) yakalamaya yeltendi. Yusuf AliThus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd thus has the word of your Lord come into effect upon those who disbelieved that they are companions of the Fire

Ali BulaçSenin Rabbinin kafirler üzerindeki: "Gerçekten onlar ateşin halkıdır" sözü böylece hak oldu

Yusuf AliThose who sustain the Throne (of God) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalThose [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire

Ali BulaçArş'ı yüklenmekte olanlar ve çevresinde bulunanlar, Rablerini hamd ile tesbih etmekte, O'na iman etmekte ve iman edenlere mağfiret dilemektedirler: "Rabbimiz, rahmet ve ilim bakımından herşeyi kuşatıp-sardın, tevbe edenler ve Senin yoluna tabi olanlara mağfiret et ve onları cehennem azabından koru

Yusuf AliAnd grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom

Saheeh InternationalOur Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

Ali BulaçRabbimiz, onları Adn cennetlerine sok ki onlara (bunu) va'dettin; babalarından, eşlerinden ve soylarından salih olanları da. Gerçekten Sen, üstün ve güçlü olansın, hüküm ve hikmet sahibisin

Yusuf AliAnd preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed: and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement

Saheeh InternationalAnd protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day - You will have given him mercy. And that is the great attainment

Ali BulaçVe onları kötülüklerden koru. O gün Sen, kimi kötülüklerden korumuşsan, gerçekten ona rahmet etmişsin. İşte büyük 'kurtuluş ve mutluluk' budur

Yusuf AliThe Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of God to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allah for you was [even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in Hell] when you were invited to faith, but you refused

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz küfredenlere de (şöyle) seslenilir: "Allah'ın gazablanması, elbette sizin kendi nefislerinize gazablanmanızdan daha büyüktür. Çünkü siz, imana çağrıldığınız zaman inkar ediyordunuz

Yusuf AliThey will say: "Our Lord! twice hast Thou made us without life, and twice hast Thou given us Life! Now have we recognised our sins: Is there any way out (of this)

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "Our Lord, You made us lifeless twice and gave us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there to an exit any way

Ali BulaçDediler ki: "Rabbimiz, bizi iki kere öldürdün ve iki kere dirilttin; biz de günahlarımızı itiraf ettik. Şimdi çıkış için bir yol var mı

Yusuf Ali(The answer will be:) "This is because, when God was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with God, Most High, Most Great

Saheeh International[They will be told], "That is because, when Allah was called upon alone, you disbelieved; but if others were associated with Him, you believed. So the judgement is with Allah, the Most High, the Grand

Ali BulaçSizin (durumunuz) böyledir. Çünkü bir olan Allah'a çağırıldığınız zaman inkar ettiniz. O'na ortak koşulduğunda inanıp-onayladınız. Artık hüküm, Yüce, büyük olan Allah'ındır

Yusuf AliHe it is Who showeth you his Signs, and sendeth down sustenance for you from the sky: but only those receive admonition who turn (to God)

Saheeh InternationalIt is He who shows you His signs and sends down to you from the sky, provision. But none will remember except he who turns back [in repentance]

Ali BulaçO, size ayetlerini gösteriyor ve sizin için gökten rızık indiriyor. İçten (Allah'a) yönelenden başkası öğüt alıp-düşünmez

Yusuf AliCall ye, then, upon God with sincere devotion to Him, even though the Unbelievers may detest it

Saheeh InternationalSo invoke Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, although the disbelievers dislike it

Ali BulaçÖyleyse, dini yalnızca O'na halis kılanlar olarak Allah'a dua (kulluk) edin; kafirler hoş görmese de

Yusuf AliRaised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting

Saheeh International[He is] the Exalted above [all] degrees, Owner of the Throne; He places the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants to warn of the Day of Meeting

Ali BulaçDereceleri yükselten Arş'ın sahibi (Allah), 'toplanma ve buluşma' günü ile uyarıp-korkutmak için, Kendi emrinden olan ruhu kullarından dilediğine indirir

Yusuf AliThe Day whereon they will (all) come forth: not a single thing concerning them is hidden from God. Whose will be the dominion that Day?" That of God, the One the Irresistible

Saheeh InternationalThe Day they come forth nothing concerning them will be concealed from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing

Ali BulaçO gün, orta yere çıkarlar. Onlardan hiçbir şey Allah'a karşı gizli kalmaz. (Allah sorar:) "Bugün mülk kimindir? Bir olan, Kahhar olan Allah'ındır

Yusuf AliThat Day will every soul be requited for what it earned; no injustice will there be that Day, for God is Swift in taking account

Saheeh InternationalThis Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account

Ali BulaçBugün her bir nefis, kendi kazandığıyla karşılık görür. Bugün zulüm yoktur. Şüphesiz Allah, hesabı seri görendir

Yusuf AliWarn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to

Saheeh InternationalAnd warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed

Ali BulaçOnları, yaklaşmakta olan güne karşı uyar; o zaman yürekler gırtlaklara dayanır, yutkunur dururlar. Zalimler için ne koruyucu bir dost, ne sözü yerine getirebilir bir şefaatçi yoktur

Yusuf Ali(God) knows of (the tricks) that deceive with the eyes, and all that the hearts (of men) conceal

Saheeh InternationalHe knows that which deceives the eyes and what the breasts conceal

Ali Bulaç(Allah,) Gözlerin hainliklerini ve göğüslerin sakladıklarını bilir

Yusuf AliAnd God will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is God (alone) Who hears and sees (all things)

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah judges with truth, while those they invoke besides Him judge not with anything. Indeed, Allah - He is the Hearing, the Seeing

Ali BulaçAllah hak ile hükmeder. Oysa O'nu bırakıp taptıkları hiçbir şeye hükmedemezler. Şüphesiz Allah, işitendir, görendir

Yusuf AliDo they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were even superior to them in strength, and in the traces (they have left) in the land: but God did call them to account for their sins, and none had they to defend them against God

Saheeh InternationalHave they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those who were before them? They were greater than them in strength and in impression on the land, but Allah seized them for their sins. And they had not from Allah any protector

Ali BulaçOnlar, yeryüzünde gezip-dolaşmıyorlar mı ki, böylece kendilerinden öncekilerin nasıl bir sona uğradıklarını bir görsünler. Onlar, kuvvet ve yeryüzündeki eserleri bakımından kendilerinden daha üstün idiler. Fakat Allah, onları günahları dolayısıyla (azapla) yakalayıverdi. Onları Allah'tan koruyacak kimse olmadı

Yusuf AliThat was because there came to them their apostles with Clear (Signs), but they rejected them: So God called them to account: for He is Full of Strength, Strict in Punishment

Saheeh InternationalThat was because their messengers were coming to them with clear proofs, but they disbelieved, so Allah seized them. Indeed, He is Powerful and severe in punishment

Ali BulaçÇünkü gerçekten onlar, Resulleri kendilerine apaçık belgeler getirirdi; fakat onlar inkar ederlerdi. Bu yüzden Allah, onları (azapla) yakalayıverdi. Şüphesiz O, kuvvetli olandır, cezalandırması şiddetlidir

Yusuf AliOf old We sent Moses, with Our Signs and an authority manifest

Saheeh InternationalAnd We did certainly send Moses with Our signs and a clear authority

Ali BulaçAndolsun, Biz Musa'yı ayetlerimizle ve apaçık bir delille gönderdik

Yusuf AliTo Pharaoh, Haman, and Qarun; but they called (him)" a sorcerer telling lies

Saheeh InternationalTo Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar

Ali BulaçFiravun'a, Haman'a ve Karun'a. Ama onlar: (Bu,) Yalan söyleyen bir büyücüdür" dediler

Yusuf AliNow, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, "Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females," but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)

Saheeh InternationalAnd when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, "Kill the sons of those who have believed with him and keep their women alive." But the plan of the disbelievers is not except in error

Ali BulaçBöylece, o, Katımız'dan kendilerine bir hak ile geldiği zaman, dediler ki: "Onunla birlikte iman edenlerin erkek çocuklarını öldürün; kadınlarını ise sağ bırakın." Ancak kafirlerin hileli-düzeni boşa çıkmakta olandan başkası değildir

Yusuf AliSaid Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land

Saheeh InternationalAnd Pharaoh said, "Let me kill Moses and let him call upon his Lord. Indeed, I fear that he will change your religion or that he will cause corruption in the land

Ali BulaçFiravun dedi ki: "Bırakın beni, Musa'yı öldüreyim de o (gitsin) Rabbine yalvarıp-yakarsın. Çünkü ben, sizin dininizi değiştirmesinden ya da yeryüzünde fesat çıkarmasından korkuyorum

Yusuf AliMoses said: "I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account

Saheeh InternationalBut Moses said, "Indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Account

Ali BulaçMusa dedi ki: "Gerçekten ben, hesap gününe iman etmeyen her mütekebbirden, benim de Rabbim, sizin de Rabbinize sığınırım

Yusuf AliA believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, 'My Lord is God'?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord? and if he be a liar, on him is (th e sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly God guides not one who transgresses and lies

Saheeh InternationalAnd a believing man from the family of Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, "Do you kill a man [merely] because he says, 'My Lord is Allah' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? And if he should be lying, then upon him is [the consequence of] his lie; but if he should be truthful, there will strike you some of what he promises you. Indeed, Allah does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar

Ali BulaçFiravun ailesinden imanını gizlemekte olan mü'min bir adam dedi ki: "Siz, benim Rabbim Allah'tır diyen bir adamı öldürüyor musunuz? Oysa o, size Rabbinizden apaçık belgelerle gelmiş bulunuyor. Buna rağmen o eğer bir yalancı ise yalanı kendi aleyhinedir; ve eğer doğru sözlü ise, (o zaman da) size va'dettiklerinin bir kısmı size isabet eder. Şüphesiz Allah, ölçüyü taşıran, çok yalan söyleyen kimseyi hidayete erdirmez

Yusuf AliO my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of God, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right

Saheeh InternationalO my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allah if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct

Ali BulaçEy Kavmim, bugün mülk sizindir, yeryüzünde hüküm sahibi kimselersiniz. Fakat bize Allah’tan dayanılmaz bir azap gelecek olursa bize kim yardımcı olabilecek?" Firavun dedi ki: "Ben, size yalnızca gördüğümü (kendi görüşümü) gösteriyorum ve ben sizi doğru yoldan da başkasına yöneltmiyorum

Yusuf AliThen said the man who believed: "O my people! Truly I do fear for you something like the Day (of disaster) of the Confederates (in sin)

Saheeh InternationalAnd he who believed said, "O my people, indeed I fear for you [a fate] like the day of the companies

Ali Bulaçİman eden (adam) dedi ki: "Ey Kavmim, ben o fırkaların gününe benzer (bir günün felaketine uğrarsınız) diye korkuyorum

Yusuf AliSomething like the fate of the People of Noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but God never wishes injustice to his Servants

Saheeh InternationalLike the custom of the people of Noah and of 'Aad and Thamud and those after them. And Allah wants no injustice for [His] servants

Ali BulaçNuh kavmi, Ad, Semud ve onlardan sonra gelenlerin durumuna benzer (bir gün). Allah, kullar için zulüm istemez

Yusuf AliAnd O my people! I fear for you a Day when there will be Mutual calling (and wailing)

Saheeh InternationalAnd O my people, indeed I fear for you the Day of Calling

Ali BulaçVe ey kavmim, doğrusu ben sizin için o feryat (edeceğiniz kıyamet) gününden korkuyorum

Yusuf AliA Day when ye shall turn your backs and flee: No defender shall ye have from God: Any whom God leaves to stray, there is none to guide

Saheeh InternationalThe Day you will turn your backs fleeing; there is not for you from Allah any protector. And whoever Allah leaves astray - there is not for him any guide

Ali BulaçArkanızı dönüp kaçacağınız gün; sizi Allah'tan koruyacak yoktur. Allah, kimi saptırırsa artık onu doğruya yöneltecek bulunmaz

Yusuf AliAnd to you there came Joseph in times gone by, with Clear Signs, but ye ceased not to doubt of the (Mission) for which he had come: At length, when he died, ye said: 'No apostle will God send after him.' thus doth God leave to stray such as t ransgress and live in doubt

Saheeh InternationalAnd Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you, until when he died, you said, 'Never will Allah send a messenger after him.' Thus does Allah leave astray he who is a transgressor and skeptic

Ali BulaçAndolsun, daha önce Yusuf da size apaçık belgeler getirmişti. O zaman size getirdikleri hakkında kuşkuya kapılıp durmuştunuz. Sonunda o, vefat edince, demiştiniz ki; "Allah, ondan sonra kesin olarak bir elçi göndermez." İşte Allah, ölçüyü taşıran, şüpheci kimseyi böyle saptırır

Yusuf Ali(Such) as dispute about the Signs of God, without any authority that hath reached them, grievous and odious (is such conduct) in the sight of God and of the Believers. Thus doth God, seal up every heart - of arrogant and obstinate Transgresso rs

Saheeh InternationalThose who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without an authority having come to them - great is hatred [of them] in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over every heart [belonging to] an arrogant tyrant

Ali BulaçKi onlar, Allah'ın ayetleri konusunda kendilerine gelmiş bir delil bulunmaksızın mücadele edip dururlar. (Bu,) Allah Katında da, iman edenler katında da büyük bir öfke (sebebi)dir. İşte Allah, her mütekebbir zorbanın kalbini böyle mühürler

Yusuf AliPharaoh said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty palace, that I may attain the ways and means

Saheeh InternationalAnd Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways

Ali BulaçFiravun (alayla) dedi ki: "Ey Haman, bana yüksek bir kule bina et; belki o yollara ulaşabilirim

Yusuf AliThe ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the God of Moses: But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him)

Saheeh InternationalThe ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin

Ali BulaçGöklerin yollarına. Böylelikle Musa'nın ilahına çıkabilirim. Çünkü ben, onun yalancı olduğunu sanıyorum." İşte Firavun'a, kötü ameli böyle çekici kılındı ve yoldan alıkonuldu. Firavun'un hileli-düzeni, 'yıkım ve kayıpta' olmaktan başka (bir şey) olmadı

Yusuf AliThe man who believed said further: "O my people! Follow me: I will lead you to the Path of Right

Saheeh InternationalAnd he who believed said, "O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct

Ali Bulaçİman eden (adam) dedi ki: "Ey Kavmim, siz bana tabi olun, ben sizi doğru yola iletip-yönelteyim

Yusuf AliO my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last

Saheeh InternationalO my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement

Ali BulaçEy kavmim, gerçekten bu dünya hayatı, yalnızca bir meta (kısa süreli bir yararlanma)dır. Şüphesiz ahiret, (asıl) karar kılınan yurt odur

Yusuf AliHe that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure

Saheeh InternationalWhoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account

Ali BulaçKim bir kötülük işlerse, kendi mislinden başkasıyla ceza görmez; kim de -erkek olsun, dişi olsun- bir mü'min olarak salih bir amelde bulunursa, işte onlar, içinde hesapsız olarak rızıklandırılmak üzere cennete girerler

Yusuf AliAnd O my people! How (strange) it is for me to call you to Salvation while ye call me to the Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd O my people, how is it that I invite you to salvation while you invite me to the Fire

Ali BulaçEy kavmim, ne oluyor ki ben sizi kurtuluşa çağırıyorken, siz beni ateşe çağırıyorsunuz

Yusuf AliYe do call upon me to blaspheme against God, and to join with Him partners of whom I have no knowledge; and I call you to the Exalted in Power, Who forgives again and again

Saheeh InternationalYou invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver

Ali BulaçSiz beni Allah'a (karşı) inkar etmeye ve hakkında bilgim olmayan şeyleri O'na şirk koşmaya çağırıyorsunuz. Ben ise sizi, üstün ve güçlü olan, bağışlayan (Allah')a çağırıyorum

Yusuf AliWithout doubt ye do call me to one who is not fit to be called to, whether in this world, or in the Hereafter; our return will be to God; and the Transgressors will be Companions of the Fire

Saheeh InternationalAssuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire

Ali Bulaçİmkanı yok; gerçekten sizin beni kendisine çağırmakta olduğunuz şeyin, dünyada da, ahirette de çağrıda bulunma (yetkisi, gücü, değeri ve bağışlama)sı yoktur. Şüphesiz, bizim dönüşümüz Allah'adır. Ölçüyü taşıranlar, onlar ateşin halkıdırlar

Yusuf AliSoon will ye remember what I say to you (now), My (own) affair I commit to God: for God (ever) watches over His Servants

Saheeh InternationalAnd you will remember what I [now] say to you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants

Ali Bulaçİşte size söylediklerimi yakında hatırlayacaksınız. Ben de işimi Allah'a bırakıyorum. Şüphesiz Allah, kulları pek iyi görendir

Yusuf AliThen God saved him from (every) ill that they plotted (against him), but the burnt of the Penalty encompassed on all sides the People of Pharaoh

Saheeh InternationalSo Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment

Yusuf AliBehold, they will dispute with each other in the Fire! The weak ones (who followed) will say to those who had been arrogant, "We but followed you: Can ye then take (on yourselves) from us some share of the Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention] when they will argue within the Fire, and the weak will say to those who had been arrogant, "Indeed, we were [only] your followers, so will you relieve us of a share of the Fire

Yusuf AliThose who had been arrogant will say: "We are all in this (Fire)! Truly, God has judged between (his) Servants

Saheeh InternationalThose who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants

Ali BulaçBüyüklenen (müstekbir)ler derler ki: "Biz hepimiz (ateşin) içindeyiz; gerçekten Allah, kullar arasında hüküm verdi (artık)

Yusuf AliThose in the Fire will say to the Keepers of Hell: "Pray to your Lord to lighten us the Penalty for a day (at least)

Saheeh InternationalAnd those in the Fire will say to the keepers of Hell, "Supplicate your Lord to lighten for us a day from the punishment

Ali BulaçAteşin içinde olanlar, cehennem bekçilerine dediler ki: "Rabbinize dua edin; azaptan bir günü (olsun) bize hafifletsin

Yusuf AliThey will say: "Did there not come to you your apostles with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes." They will reply, "Then supplicate [yourselves], but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error

Ali Bulaç(Bekçiler:) "Size kendi Resulleriniz açık belgelerle gelmez miydi?" dediler. Onlar: "Evet" dediler. (Bekçiler:) "Şu halde siz dua edin" dediler. Oysa kafirlerin duası, çıkmazda olmaktan başkası değildir

Yusuf AliWe will, without doubt, help our apostles and those who believe, (both) in this world's life and on the Day when the Witnesses will stand forth

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand

Yusuf AliThe Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery

Saheeh InternationalThe Day their excuse will not benefit the wrongdoers, and they will have the curse, and they will have the worst home

Saheeh InternationalSo be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning

Ali BulaçŞu halde sen sabret. Gerçekten Allah'ın va'di haktır. Günahın için mağfiret dile; akşam ve sabah Rabbini hamd ile tesbih et

Yusuf AliThose who dispute about the signs of God without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in God: It is He Who hears and sees (all thi ngs)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz, kendilerine gelmiş bulunan hiçbir delil olmaksızın, Allah'ın ayetleri konusunda mücadele edenlere gelince; onların göğüslerinde kendisine ulaşamayacakları bir büyüklük (isteğin)den başkası yoktur. Artık sen Allah'a sığın. Şüphesiz O hakkıyla işiten, hakkıyla görendir

Yusuf AliAssuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not

Saheeh InternationalThe creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know

Yusuf AliNot equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition

Saheeh InternationalAnd not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember

Yusuf AliThe Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not

Yusuf AliAnd your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation

Saheeh InternationalAnd your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible

Ali BulaçRabbiniz dedi ki: "Bana dua edin, size icabet edeyim. Doğrusu Bana ibadet etmekten büyüklenen (müstekbir)ler; cehenneme boyun bükmüş kimseler olarak gireceklerdir

Yusuf AliIt is God Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily God is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks

Saheeh InternationalIt is Allah who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day giving sight. Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people are not grateful

Ali BulaçAllah, kendisinde sükun bulmanız için geceyi, aydınlık olarak da gündüzü sizin için var etti. Şüphesiz Allah, insanlara karşı (sınırsız) bir fazl sahibidir. Ancak insanların çoğu şükretmiyorlar

Yusuf AliSuch is God, your Lord, the Creator of all things, there is no god but He: Then how ye are deluded away from the Truth

Saheeh InternationalThat is Allah, your Lord, Creator of all things; there is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded

Ali Bulaçİşte bu, sizin Rabbiniz Allah'tır; herşeyin Yaratıcısı'dır; O'ndan başka İlah yoktur. Öyleyse nasıl olur da çevriliyorsunuz

Yusuf AliThus are deluded those who are wont to reject the Signs of God

Saheeh InternationalThus were those [before you] deluded who were rejecting the signs of Allah

Yusuf AliIt is God Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is God your Lord. So Glory to G od, the Lord of the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalIt is Allah who made for you the earth a place of settlement and the sky a ceiling and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. That is Allah, your Lord; then blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds

Ali BulaçAllah, yeryüzünü sizin için bir karar, gökyüzünü bir bina kıldı; sizi suretlendirdi, suretinizi de en güzel (bir biçim ve incelikte) kıldı ve size güzel-temiz şeylerden rızık verdi. İşte sizin Rabbiniz Allah budur. Alemlerin Rabbi Allah ne Yücedir

Yusuf AliHe is the Living (One): There is no god but He: Call upon Him, giving Him sincere devotion. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalHe is the Ever-Living; there is no deity except Him, so call upon Him, [being] sincere to Him in religion. [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds

Ali BulaçO, Hayy (diri) olandır. O'ndan başka İlah yoktur; öyleyse dini yalnızca Kendisi'ne halis kılanlar olarak O'na dua edin. Alemlerin Rabbine hamd olsun

Yusuf AliSay: "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom ye invoke besides God,- seeing that the Clear Sings have come to me from my Lord; and I have been commanded to bow (in Islam) to the Lord of the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalSay, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you call upon besides Allah once the clear proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds

Ali BulaçDe ki: "Bana apaçık belgeler gelince, sizin Allah'tan başka taptıklarınıza kulluk etmekten kesin olarak menedildim ve alemlerin Rabbine teslim olmakla emrolundum

Yusuf AliIt is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a Term appointed; in order that ye may learn wisdom

Saheeh InternationalIt is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason

Ali BulaçO'dur ki, sizi topraktan, sonra bir damla sudan, sonra bir alak'tan (embriyo) yarattı; sonra sizi bir bebek olarak çıkarmakta, sonra güçlü (erginlik) çağınıza erişmeniz, sonra da yaşlanmanız için size (belli bir ömür vermektedir). Sizden kiminin daha önce hayatına son verilmektedir; adı konulmuş bir ecele erişmeniz ve belki aklınızı kullanmanız için (Allah sizi böyle yaşatır)

Yusuf AliIt is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decides upon an affair, He says to it, "Be", and it is

Saheeh InternationalHe it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is

Ali BulaçDirilten ve öldüren O'dur. Bir işin olmasına hükmetti mi, ona yalnızca: "Ol" der, o da hemen oluverir

Yusuf AliSeest thou not those that dispute concerning the Sings of God? How are they turned away (from Reality)

Saheeh InternationalDo you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted

Yusuf AliThose who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our apostles: but soon shall they know

Saheeh InternationalThose who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know

Yusuf AliWhen the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along

Saheeh InternationalWhen the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged

Ali BulaçBoyunlarında demir-halkalar ve (ayaklarında) zincirler olduğu halde sürüklenecekler

Yusuf AliIn the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned

Saheeh InternationalIn boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]

Yusuf AliThen shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part- worship

Saheeh InternationalThen it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship]

Yusuf AliIn derogation of God?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does God leave the Unbelievers to stray

Saheeh InternationalOther than Allah?" They will say, "They have departed from us; rather, we did not used to invoke previously anything." Thus does Allah put astray the disbelievers

Ali BulaçAllah'ın dışında (taptıklarınız)." Dediler ki: "Bizi bırakıp-kayboluverdiler. Hayır, biz önceleri (meğer) hiçbir şeye tapar değilmişiz." İşte Allah, kafirleri böyle şaşırtıp-saptırır

Yusuf AliThat was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent

Saheeh International[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently

Ali Bulaçİşte bu, sizin yeryüzünde haksız yere şımarıp-azmanız ve azgınca ölçüyü taşırmanız dolayısıyladır

Yusuf AliEnter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant

Saheeh InternationalEnter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant

Ali Bulaçİçinde ebedi kalıcılar olarak cehennemin kapılarından girin. Artık mütekebbirlerin konaklama yeri ne kötüdür

Yusuf AliSo persevere in patience; for the Promise of God is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return

Saheeh InternationalSo be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned

Ali BulaçŞu halde sen sabret, hiç şüphesiz Allah'ın va'di haktır. Sonunda ya onlara va'dettiğimiz (azab)in bir kısmını sana göstereceğiz ya da senin hayatına son vereceğiz. Nihayet onlar Bize döndürülecekler

Yusuf AliWe did aforetime send apostles before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any apostle to bring a sign except by the leave of God: but whe n the Command of God issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]

Ali BulaçAndolsun, Biz senden önce elçiler gönderdik; onlardan kimini sana aktarıp-anlattık ve kimini anlatmadık. Herhangi bir elçiye, Allah'ın izni olmaksızın bir ayeti getirmek olacak şey değildir. Allah'ın emri geldiği zaman hak ile hüküm verilir ve işte burada (hakkı) iptal etmekte (istekli) olanlar hüsrana uğramışlardır

Yusuf AliIt is God Who made cattle for you, that ye may use some for riding and some for food

Saheeh InternationalIt is Allah who made for you the grazing animals upon which you ride, and some of them you eat

Ali BulaçAllah O'dur ki, kimine binmeniz, kiminden yemeniz için size (bir yarar olmak üzere) davarları var etti

Yusuf AliAnd there are (other) advantages in them for you (besides); that ye may through them attain to any need (there may be) in your hearts; and on them and on ships ye are carried

Saheeh InternationalAnd for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried

Ali BulaçOnlarda sizin için yararlar vardır. Onların üstünde göğüslerinizde olan bir hacete (ihtiyaca ve arzuya) ulaşırsınız; onların ve gemilerin üstünde taşınırsınız

Yusuf AliAnd He shows you (always) His Signs: then which of the Signs of God will ye deny

Saheeh InternationalAnd He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of Allah do you deny

Yusuf AliDo they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them

Saheeh InternationalHave they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn

Ali BulaçYeryüzünde gezip dolaşmıyorlar mı ki, kendilerinden öncekilerin nasıl bir sona uğradıklarını bir görsünler. Onlar, kendilerinden (sayıca) daha çoktu ve yeryüzünde kuvvet ve eserler bakımından daha üstündüler. Fakat kazandıkları şeyler, (azaba karşı) onlara hiçbir şey sağlayamadı

Yusuf AliFor when their apostles came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in

Saheeh InternationalAnd when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they [merely] rejoiced in what they had of knowledge, but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule

Ali BulaçResulleri kendilerine apaçık belgeler getirdiği zaman, onlar, yanlarında olan ilimden dolayı sevinip-böbürlendiler de, kendisini alay konusu edindikleri şey, onları sarıp-kuşatıverdi

Yusuf AliBut when they saw Our Punishment, they said: "We believe in God,- the one God - and we reject the partners we used to join with Him

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they saw Our punishment, they said," We believe in Allah alone and disbelieve in that which we used to associate with Him

Ali BulaçBizim dayanılmaz-azabımızı gördükleri zaman, dediler ki: "Bir olan Allah'a iman ettik ve O'na şirk koştuğumuz şeyleri de inkar ettik

Yusuf AliBut their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) God's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of God perish (utterly)

Saheeh InternationalBut never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allah which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all]

Ali BulaçAma Bizim dayanılmaz-azabımızı gördükleri zaman, imanları kendilerine hiçbir yarar sağlamadı. (Bu,) Allah'ın kulları arasında sürüp-giden sünnetidir. İşte kafirler burada hüsrana uğramışlardır
