49. Al-Hujuraat سُورَةُ الحُجُرَاتِ

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُقَدِّمُواْ بَيۡنَ يَدَيِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliO Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before God and His Apostle; but fear God: for God is He Who hears and knows all things

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Allah'tan ve Peygamberinden öne geçmeyin; Allah'tan sakının, doğrusu Allah işitir ve bilir

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing

49:2 📚 2

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَرۡفَعُوٓاْ أَصۡوَٰتَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ صَوۡتِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجۡهَرُواْ لَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ كَجَهۡرِ بَعۡضِكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ أَن تَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Seslerinizi, Peygamberin sesini bastıracak şekilde yükseltmeyin. Farkına varmadan, işlediklerinizin boşa gitmemesi için, Peygambere birbirinize bağırdığınız gibi yüksek sesle bağırmayın

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not

49:3 📚 1

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصۡوَٰتَهُمۡ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمۡتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣱ وَأَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٌ

Yusuf AliThose that lower their voices in the presence of God's Apostle,- their hearts has God tested for piety: for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward

Diyanet İşleri MealiSeslerini Peygamberin yanında kısan kimseler, Allah'ın gönüllerini takva ile sınadığı kimselerdir. Onlara mağfiret ve büyük ecir vardır

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah - they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness. For them is forgiveness and great reward

49:4

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلۡحُجُرَٰتِ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

Yusuf AliThose who shout out to thee from without the inner apartments - most of them lack understanding

Diyanet İşleri MealiSana odaların ötesinden seslenenlerin çoğu akletmeyen kimselerdir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason

49:5 📚 1

وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ صَبَرُواْ حَتَّىٰ تَخۡرُجَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَكَانَ خَيۡرࣰ ا لَّهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliIf only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

Diyanet İşleri MealiEğer onlar, sen yanlarına çıkıncaya kadar sabretselerdi şüphesiz onlar için daha iyi olurdu. Allah bağışlayandır, merhamet edendir

Saheeh InternationalAnd if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

49:6 📚 6

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن جَآءَكُمۡ فَاسِقُۢ بِنَبَإࣲ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْ أَن تُصِيبُواْ قَوۡمَۢا بِجَهَٰلَةࣲ فَتُصۡبِحُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلۡتُمۡ نَٰدِمِينَ

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Eğer yoldan çıkmışın biri size bir haber getirirse, onun iç yüzünü araştırın, yoksa bilmeden bir millete fenalık edersiniz de sonra ettiğinize pişman olursunuz

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful

49:7 📚 4

وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِۚ لَوۡ يُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي كَثِيرࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ لَعَنِتُّمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ وَٱلۡفُسُوقَ وَٱلۡعِصۡيَانَۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd know that among you is God's Apostle: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But God has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to y ou Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness

Diyanet İşleri MealiBilin ki, içinizde Allah'ın Peygamberi bulunmaktadır. Eğer o, bir çok işlerde size uymuş olsaydı şüphesiz kötü duruma düşerdiniz; ama Allah size imanı sevdirmiş, onu gönüllerinize güzel göstermiş; inkarcılığı, yoldan çıkmayı ve baş kaldırmayı size iğrenç göstermiştir. İşte böyle olanlar, Allah katından bir lütuf ve nimet sayesinde doğru yolda bulunanlardır. Allah bilendir, Hakim'dir

Saheeh InternationalAnd know that among you is the Messenger of Allah. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allah has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided

49:8

فَضۡلࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَنِعۡمَةࣰۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliA Grace and Favour from God; and God is full of Knowledge and Wisdom

Saheeh International[It is] as bounty from Allah and favor. And Allah is Knowing and Wise

49:9 📚 10

وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱقۡتَتَلُواْ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ فَقَٰتِلُواْ ٱلَّتِي تَبۡغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن فَآءَتۡ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَهُمَا بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَأَقۡسِطُوٓاْۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُقۡسِطِينَ

Yusuf AliIf two parties among the Believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; But if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: For Allah loves those who are fair (and just)

Diyanet İşleri MealiEğer müminlerden iki topluluk birbirleriyle savaşırlarsa aralarını düzeltiniz; eğer biri diğeri üzerine saldırırsa, saldıranlarla Allah'ın buyruğuna dönmelerine kadar savaşınız; eğer dönerlerse aralarını adaletle bulunuz, adil davranınız, şüphesiz Allah adil davrananları sever

Saheeh InternationalAnd if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly

49:10

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةࣱ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَ أَخَوَيۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

Yusuf AliThe Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear God, that ye may receive Mercy

Diyanet İşleri MealiŞüphesiz müminler birbiri ile kardeştirler; öyle ise dargın olan kardeşlerinizin arasını düzeltin; Allah'tan sakının ki size acısın

Saheeh InternationalThe believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy

49:11 📚 3

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا يَسۡخَرۡ قَوۡمࣱ مِّن قَوۡمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُواْ خَيۡرࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا نِسَآءࣱ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيۡرࣰ ا مِّنۡهُنَّۖ وَلَا تَلۡمِزُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَلَا تَنَابَزُواْ بِٱلۡأَلۡقَٰبِۖ بِئۡسَ ٱلِٱسۡمُ ٱلۡفُسُوقُ بَعۡدَ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَتُبۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Bir topluluk bir diğerini alaya almasın, belki de onlar kendilerinden daha iyidirler. Kadınlar da başka kadınları alaya almasınlar, belki onlar kendilerinden daha iyidirler. Kendi kendinizi ayıplamayın; birbirinizi kötü lakaplarla çağırmayın; inandıktan sonra yoldan çıkmış olmak ne kötü bir addır. Tevbe etmeyenler, işte onlar zalimlerdir

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers

49:12 📚 15

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱجۡتَنِبُواْ كَثِيرࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعۡضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثۡمࣱۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُواْ وَلَا يَغۡتَب بَّعۡضُكُم بَعۡضًاۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمۡ أَن يَأۡكُلَ لَحۡمَ أَخِيهِ مَيۡتࣰ ا فَكَرِهۡتُمُوهُۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear God: For God is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Zannın çoğundan sakının, zira zannın bir kısmı günahtır. Birbirinizin suçunu araştırmayın; kimse kimseyi çekiştirmesin; hangi biriniz ölü kardeşinin etini yemekten hoşlanır? Ondan tiksinirsiniz; Allah'tan sakının, şüphesiz Allah tevbeleri daima kabul edendir, acıyandır

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful

49:13 📚 1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرࣲ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ شُعُوبࣰ ا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ أَكۡرَمَكُمۡ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتۡقَىٰكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرࣱ‏

Yusuf AliO mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy insanlar! Doğrusu Biz sizleri bir erkekle bir dişiden yarattık. Sizi milletler ve kabileler haline koyduk ki birbirinizi kolayca tanıyasınız. Şüphesiz, Allah katında en değerliniz, O'na karşı gelmekten en çok sakınanızdır. Allah bilendir, haberdardır

Saheeh InternationalO mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted

49:14

۞قَالَتِ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ ءَامَنَّاۖ قُل لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَلَٰكِن قُولُوٓاْ أَسۡلَمۡنَا وَلَمَّا يَدۡخُلِ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا يَلِتۡكُم مِّنۡ أَعۡمَٰلِكُمۡ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمٌ

Yusuf AliThe desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only)say, 'We have submitted our wills to God,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey God and His Apostle, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Go d is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

Diyanet İşleri MealiBedeviler: "İnandık" dediler, de ki: "İnanmadınız ama İslam olduk deyin; inanç henüz gönüllerinize yerleşmedi; eğer Allah'a ve Peygamberine itaat ederseniz, işlediklerinizden bir şey eksilmez; doğrusu Allah, bağışlar, merhamet eder

Saheeh InternationalThe bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

49:15

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَرۡتَابُواْ وَجَٰهَدُواْ بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ

Yusuf AliOnly those are Believers who have believed in God and His Apostle, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of God: Such are the sincere ones, Were We then weary with the first Creatio n, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnananlar, ancak Allah'a ve peygamberine inanmış, sonra şüpheye düşmemiş; Allah uğrunda mallarıyla, canlarıyla cihat etmiş olanlardır. İşte onlar doğru olanlardır

Saheeh InternationalThe believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful

49:16 📚 1

قُلۡ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliSay: "What! Will ye instruct God about your religion? But God knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: He has full knowledge of all things

Diyanet İşleri MealiDe ki: "Dininizi Allah'a mı öğretiyorsunuz? Oysa Allah göklerde olanları da yerde olanları da bilir, Allah her şeyi bilendir

Saheeh InternationalSay, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things

49:17 📚 6

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيۡكَ أَنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّواْ عَلَيَّ إِسۡلَٰمَكُمۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنۡ هَدَىٰكُمۡ لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Yusuf AliThey impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, God has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere

Diyanet İşleri MealiMüslüman oldular diye seni minnet altında bırakmak isterler; de ki: "Müslüman olmanızla beni minnet altında tutmayın, hayır; eğer doğru kimselerseniz, sizi imana eriştirmekle Allah sizi minnet altında bırakır

Saheeh InternationalThey consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful

49:18

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ غَيۡبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

Yusuf AliVerily God knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth: and God Sees well all that ye do

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu Allah, göklerin ve yerin gaybını bilir. Allah, yaptıklarınızı görendir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you do
