Saheeh InternationalIt is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision
Yusuf AliIt is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from God! But the (Wrath of) God came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)

«هو الذي أخرج الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب» هم بنو النضير من اليهود «من ديارهم» مساكنهم بالمدينة «لأول الحشر» هو حشرهم إلى الشام وآخره أن أجلاهم عمر في خلافته إلى خيبر «ما ظننتم» أيها المؤمنون «أن يخرجوا وظنوا أنهم مانعتهم» خبر أن «حصونهم» فاعله تم به الخبر «من الله» من عذابه «فأتاهم الله» أمره وعذابه «من حيث لم يحتسبوا» لم يخطر ببالهم من جهة المؤمنين «وقذف» ألقى «في قلوبهم الرعب» بسكون العين وضمها، الخوف بقتل سيدهم كعب بن الأشرف «يخرِّبون» بالتشديد والتخفيف من أخرب «بيوتهم» لينقلوا ما أستحسنوه منها من خشب وغيره «بأيديهم وأيدي المؤمنين فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار».
Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah onlara sürülmeyi yazmamış olsaydı, dünyada başka şekilde azap verecekti. Ahirette onlara ateş azabı vardır
Saheeh InternationalAnd if not that Allah had decreed for them evacuation, He would have punished them in [this] world, and for them in the Hereafter is the punishment of the Fire
Yusuf AliAnd had it not been that God had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire

«ولولا أن كتب الله» قضى «عليهم الجلاء» الخروج من الوطن «لعذبهم في الدنيا» بالقتل والسبي كما فعل بقريظة من اليهود «ولهم في الآخرة عذاب النار».
Diyanet İşleri MealiBu, Allah'a ve Peygamberine karşı gelmelerinden ötürüdür. Kim Allah'a karşı gelirse bilsin ki Allah'ın cezalandırması şüphesiz çetindir
Saheeh InternationalThat is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty
Yusuf AliThat is because they resisted God and His Apostle: and if any one resists God, verily God is severe in Punishment
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBunun sebebi şudur: Onlar Allah'a ve Resulüne karşı geldiler; Kim Allah'a karşı gelirse Allah'ın azabı şiddetlidir
«ذلك بأنهم شاقوا» خالفوا «الله ورسوله ومن يشاق الله فإن الله شديد العقاب» له.
Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnkarcı kitap ehlinin yurtlarında hurma ağaçlarını kesmeniz veya onları kesmeyip gövdeleri üzerinde ayakta bırakmanız Allah'ın izniyledir. Allah yoldan çıkanları böylece rezilliğe uğratır
Saheeh InternationalWhatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient
Yusuf AliWhether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of God, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses

«ما قطعتم» يا مسلمون «من لينة» نخلة «أو تركتموها قائمة على أصولها فبأذن الله» أي خيَّركم في ذلك «وليخزيَ» بالإذن في القطع «الفاسقين» اليهود في اعتراضهم أن قطع الشجر المثمر فساد.
Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Onların mallarından, Allah'ın Peygamberine verdiği şeyler için siz ne at ve ne de deve sürdünüz; fakat Allah peygamberlerine, dilediği kimselere karşı üstünlük verir. Allah herşeye Kadir'dir
Saheeh InternationalAnd what Allah restored [of property] to His Messenger from them - you did not spur for it [in an expedition] any horses or camels, but Allah gives His messengers power over whom He wills, and Allah is over all things competent
Yusuf AliWhat God has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from them - for this ye made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry: but God gives power to His apostles over any He pleases: and God has power over all things
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah'ın, onlardan peygamberine verdiği ganimetlere gelince siz onun üzerine ne at, ne de deve sürmediniz. Fakat Allah peygamberini, dilediği kimselerin üzerine salar. Allah her şeye kadirdir
«وما أفاء» رد «الله على رسوله منهم فما أوجفتم» أسرعتم يا مسلمون «عليه من» زائدة «خيل ولا ركاب» إبل، أي لم تقاسوا فيه مشقة «ولكن الله يسلط رسله على من يشاء والله على كل شيءٍ قدير» فلا حق لكم فيه ويختص به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ومن ذكر معه في الآية الثانية من الأصناف الأربعة على ما كان يقسمه من أن لكل منهم خمس الخمس وله صلى الله عليه وسلم الباقي يفعل فيه ما يشاء فأعطى منه المهاجرين وثلاثة من الأنصار لفقرهم.

Peygamber size ne verirse onu alın, sizi neden menederse ondan geri durun; Allah'tan sakının, doğrusu Allah'ın cezalandırması çetindir
Saheeh InternationalAnd what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty
Yusuf AliWhat God has bestowed on His Apostle (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to God,- to His Apostle and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealt hy among you. So take what the Apostle assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear God; for God is strict in Punishment
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah'ın o kent halkından, Resulüne verdiği ganimetler, Allah'a, Resul'e, ona akrabalığı bulunanlara, yetimlere, yoksullara, yolcuya aittir. Ta ki içinizden yalnız zenginler arasında dolaşan bir şey olmasın. Peygamber size ne verdiyse onu alın. Sizeneyi yasakladıysa ondan sakının ve Allah'tan korkun. Çünkü Allah'ın azabı şiddetlidir
«ما أفاء الله على رسوله من أهل القرى» كالصفراء ووادي القرى وينبع «فلله» يأمر فيه بما يشاء «وللرسول ولذي» صاحب «القربى» قرابة النبي من بني هاشم وبني المطلب «واليتامى» أطفال المسلمين الذين هلكت آباؤهم وهم فقراء «والمساكين» ذوي الحاجة من المسلمين «وابن السبيل» المنقطع في سفره من المسلمين، أي يستحقه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والأصناف الأربعة على ما كان يقسمه من أن لكل من الأربعة خمس الخمس وله الباقي «كي لا» كي بمعنى اللام وأن مقدرة بعدها «يكون» الفيء علة لقسمه كذلك «دولةً» متداولا «بين الأغنياء منكم وما آتاكم» أعطاكم «الرسول» من الفيء وغيره «فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا واتقوا الله إن الله شديد العقاب».

Saheeh InternationalFor the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful
Yusuf Ali(Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from God and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding God and His Apostle: such are indeed the sincere ones

«للفقراء» متعلق بمحذوف، أي اعجبوا «المهاجرين الذين أخرجوا من ديارهم وأموالهم يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا وينصرون الله ورسوله أولئك هم الصادقون» في إيمانهم.
Diyanet İşleri MealiDaha önceden Medine'yi yurt edinmiş ve gönüllerine imanı yerleştirmiş olan kimseler, kendilerine hicret edip gelenleri severler; onlara verilenler karşısında içlerinde bir çekememezlik hissetmezler; kendileri zaruret içinde bulunsalar bile onları kendilerinden önde tutarlar. Nefsinin tamahkarlığından korunabilmiş kimseler, işte onlar saadete erenlerdir
Saheeh InternationalAnd [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful
Yusuf AliBut those who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith,- show their affection to such as came to them for refuge, and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over thems elves, even though poverty was their (own lot). And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe onlardan önce o yurda yerleşen imana sarılanlar kendilerine göç edip gelenleri severler ve onlara verilenlerden ötürü göğüslerinde bir ihtiyaç duymazlar. Kendilerinin ihtiyaçları olsa dahi, onları öz canlarına tercih ederler. Kim nefsinin cimriliğinden korunursa, işte onlar umduklarına erenlerdir
«والذين تبوؤا الدار» أي المدينة «والإيمان» أي ألفوه وهم الأنصار «من قبلهم يحبون من هاجر إليهم ولا يجدون في صدورهم حاجة» حسدا «مما أوتوا» أي آتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم المهاجرين من أموال بني النضير المختصة بهم «ويؤثرون على أنفسهم ولو كان بهم خصاصة» حاجة إلى ما يؤثرون به «ومن يوق شُحَّ نفسه» حرصها على المال «فأولئك هم المفلحون».
Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlardan sonra gelenler: "Rabbimiz! Bizi ve bizden önce inanmış olan kardeşlerimizi bağışla; kalbimizde müminlere karşı kin bırakma; Rabbimiz! Şüphesiz Sen şefkatlisin, merhametlisin" derler
Saheeh InternationalAnd [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful
Yusuf AliAnd those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindnes s, Most Merciful
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlardan sonra gelenler derler ki: "Rabbimiz, bizi ve bizden önce inanan kardeşlerimizi bağışla, kalplerimizde inananlara karşı bir kin bırakma! Rabbimiz! Sen çok şefkatli, çok merhametlisin
«والذين جاءُوا من بعدهم» من بعد المهاجرين والأنصار إلى يوم القيامة «يقولون ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان ولا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا» حقدا «للذين آمنوا ربنا إنك رؤوف رحيم».
Diyanet İşleri MealiMünafıkların, kitap ehlinin inkarcılarından olan kardeşlerine: "Eğer siz yurdunuzdan çıkarılırsanız and olsun ki, biz de sizinle beraber çıkarız; sizin aleyhinizde kimseye asla uymayız; eğer savaşa tutuşursanız mutlaka size yardım ederiz" dediklerini görmedin mi? Allah onların yalancı olduklarına şahidlik eder
Saheeh InternationalHave you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars
Yusuf AliHast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But God is witness that they are indeed liars
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırMünafıkların, kitap ehlinden inkar eden dostlarına "Eğer siz yurdunuzdan çıkarılırsanız, mutlaka biz de sizinle beraber çıkarız sizin aleyhinizde kimseye asla uymayız. Eğer savaşa tutuşursanız, mutlaka yardım ederiz." dediklerini görmedin mi? Allah, onların yalancı olduklarına şahitlik eder
«ألم ترْ» تنظر «إلى الذين نافقوا يقولون لإخوانهم الذين كفروا من أهل الكتاب» وهم بنو النضير وإخوانهم في الكفر «لئن» لام قسم في الأربعة «أخرجتم» من المدينة «لنخرجن معكم ولا نطيع فيكم» في خذلانكم «أحدا أبدا وإن قوتلتم» حذفت منه اللام الموطئة «لننصرنكم والله يشهد إنهم لكاذبون».
Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar çıkarılmış olsalar, and olsun ki, onlarla beraber çıkmazlar; savaşa tutuşmuş olsalar, and olsun ki, onlara yardıma koşmazlar; onlara yardıma gitseler, mutlaka geri dönüp kaçarlar, sonra yardım da görmezler
Saheeh InternationalIf they are expelled, they will not leave with them, and if they are fought, they will not aid them. And [even] if they should aid them, they will surely turn their backs; then [thereafter] they will not be aided
Yusuf AliIf they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun eğer onlar, çıkarılırsalar, onlarla beraber çıkmazlar; savaşa tutuşmuş olsalar, onlara yardım etmezler; yardım etseler bile arkalarını dönüp kaçarlar, sonra kendilerine de yardım edilmez
«لئن أخرجوا لا يخرجون معهم ولئن قوتلوا لا ينصرونهم ولئن نصروهم» أي جاؤوا لنصرهم «ليولنَّ الأدبار» واستغني بجواب القسم المقدر عن جواب الشرط في المواضع الخمسة «ثم لا يُنصرون» أي اليهود.
Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inananlar! Onların yüreklerine korku salan, Allah'tan çok sizlersiniz; çünkü onlar, anlamayan kimselerdir
Saheeh InternationalYou [believers] are more fearful within their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who do not understand
Yusuf AliOf a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by God. This is because they are men devoid of understanding
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnların kalblerinde sizin korkunuz, Allah'ın korkusundan fazladır. Böyledir, çünkü onlar anlamayan bir topluluktur
«لأنتم أشد رهبة» خوفا «في صدورهم» أي المنافقين «من الله» لتأخير عذابه «ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون».
Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar sizinle toplu olarak, ancak surla çevrilmiş kasabalar içinde veya duvarlar arkasından savaşı kabul edebilirler. Kendi aralarındaki çekişmeleri ise serttir; onları birlik sanırsın, oysa kalbleri birbirinden ayrıdır. Bu, akletmeyen bir topluluk olmalarındandır
Saheeh InternationalThey will not fight you all except within fortified cities or from behind walls. Their violence among themselves is severe. You think they are together, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not reason
Yusuf AliThey will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) amongst themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a pe ople devoid of wisdom
Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar toplu olarak sizinle savaşamazlar, ancak, müstahkem şehirlerde yahut duvarların ardından (sizinle savaşmak isterler). Kendi aralarındaki çekişmeleri şiddetlidir. Sen onları toplu sanırsın, oysa onların kalbleri dağınıktır. Böyledir, çünkü onlar aklını kullanmayan bir topluluktur
«لا يقاتلونكم» أي اليهود «جميعا» مجتمعين «إلا في قرى محصنة أو من وراء جدار» سور، وفي قراءة جدر «بأسهم» حربهم «بينهم شديد تحسبهم جميعا» مجتمعين «وقلوبهم شتى» متفرقة خلاف الحسبان «ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يعقلون».
Diyanet İşleri MealiOnların durumu, kendilerinden az zaman önce geçmiş ve işlerinin karşılığını tatmış olanların durumu gibidir. Onlara can yakıcı azap vardır
Saheeh International[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment
Yusuf AliLike those who lately preceded them, they have tasted the evil result of their conduct; and (in the Hereafter there is) for them a grievous Penalty
Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Bu yahudilerin durumu) kendilerinden az önce, işlerinin günahını tatmış olan, ahirette de kendileri için acı bir azab bulunan kimselerin (Bedir'de cezalarını bulan putperestlerin) durumu gibidir
مثلهم في ترك الإيمان «كمثل الذين من قبلهم قريبا» بزمن قريب وهم أهل بدر من المشركين «ذاقوا وبال أمرهم» عقوبته في الدنيا من القتل وغيره «ولهم عذاب أليم» مؤلم في الآخرة.
Diyanet İşleri Mealiİkiyüzlülerin durumu insana: "İnkar et!" deyip, insan da inkar edince: "Doğrusu ben senden uzağım; Alemlerin Rabbi olan Allah'tan korkarım" diyen şeytanın durumu gibidir
Saheeh International[The hypocrites are] like the example of Satan when he says to man, "Disbelieve." But when he disbelieves, he says, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds
Yusuf Ali(Their allies deceived them), like the Evil One, when he says to man, "Deny God": but when (man) denies God, (the Evil One) says, "I am free of thee: I do fear God, the Lord of the Worlds
Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Yahudileri kandıran münafıkların durumu da) tıpkı şeytanın durumuna benzer ki insana "İnkâr et." dedi, (insan) inkar edince de: "Ben senden uzağım, ben âlemlerin Rabb'i Allah'tan korkarım!" dedi
مثلهم أيضا في سماعهم من المنافقين وتخلفهم عنهم «كمثل الشيطان إذ قال للإنسان اكفر فلما كفر قال إني بريء منك إني أخاف الله رب العالمين» كذبا منه ورياءً.
Diyanet İşleri Mealiİkisinin sonucu da, içinde temelli kalacakları ateş olacaktır. Zalimlerin cezası budur
Saheeh InternationalSo the outcome for both of them is that they will be in the Fire, abiding eternally therein. And that is the recompense of the wrong-doers
Yusuf AliThe end of both will be that they will go into the Fire, dwelling therein for ever. Such is the reward of the wrong-doers

«فكان عاقبتهما» أي الغاوي والمغوي وقرئ بالرفع اسم كان «أنهما في النار خالدين فيها وذلك جزاء الظالمين» أي الكافرين.

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do
Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Fear God, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear God: for God is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do
