74. Al-Muddaththir سُورَةُ المُدَّثِّرِ
Saheeh InternationalO you who covers himself [with a garment]
Ali BulaçEy bürünüp örtünen
Yusuf AliO thou wrapped up (in the mantle)
«يا أيها المدثر» النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأصله المتدثر أدغمت التاء في الدال، أي المتلفف بثيابه عند نزول الوحي عليه.
Saheeh InternationalArise and warn
Ali BulaçKalk (ve) bundan böyle uyar
Yusuf AliArise and deliver thy warning
«قم فأنذر» خوِّف أهل مكة النار إن لم يؤمنوا.
Saheeh InternationalAnd your Lord glorify
Ali BulaçRabbini tekbir et (yücelt)
Yusuf AliAnd thy Lord do thou magnify
«وربك فكبر» عظِّم عن إشراك المشركين.
Saheeh InternationalAnd your clothing purify
Ali BulaçElbiseni temizle
Yusuf AliAnd thy garments keep free from stain
«وثيابك فطهر» عن النجاسة أو قصرها خلاف جر العرب ثيابهم خيلاء فربما أصابتها نجاسة.
Saheeh InternationalAnd uncleanliness avoid
Ali BulaçPislikten kaçınıp-uzaklaş
Yusuf AliAnd all abomination shun
«والرُّجز» فسره النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالأوثان «فاهجر» أي دم على هجره.
Saheeh InternationalAnd do not confer favor to acquire more
Ali BulaçDaha çok istekte bulunmak için iyilik yapma
Yusuf AliNor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)
«ولا تمنن تستكثر» بالرفع حال، أي لا تعط شيئا لتطلب أكثر منه وهذا خاص به صلى الله عليه وسلم لأنه مأمور بأجمل الأخلاق وأشرف الآداب.
Saheeh InternationalBut for your Lord be patient
Ali BulaçRabbin için sabret
Yusuf AliBut, for thy Lord's (Cause), be patient and constant
«ولربك فاصبر» على الأوامر والنواهي.
Saheeh InternationalAnd when the trumpet is blown
Ali BulaçÇünkü o boruya (sur'a) üfürüldüğü zaman
Yusuf AliFinally, when the Trumpet is sounded
«فإذا نقر في الناقور» نفخ في الصور وهو القرن النفخة الثانية.
Saheeh InternationalThat Day will be a difficult day
Ali Bulaçİşte o gün, zorlu bir gündür
Yusuf AliThat will be- that Day - a Day of Distress
«فذلك» أي وقت النقر «يومئذ» بدل مما قبله المبتدأ وبني لإضافته إلى غير متمكن وخبر المبتدأ «يوم عسير» والعامل في إذا ما دلت عليه الجملة اشتد الأمر.
Saheeh InternationalFor the disbelievers - not easy
Ali BulaçKafirler içinse hiç kolay değildir
Yusuf AliFar from easy for those without Faith
«على الكافرين غير يسير» فيه دلالة على أنه يسير على المؤمنين في عسره.
Saheeh InternationalLeave Me with the one I created alone
Ali BulaçKendisini tek olarak (ve yapayalnız) yarattığım (şu adam)ı Bana bırak
Yusuf AliLeave Me alone, (to deal) with the (creature) whom I created (bare and) alone
«ذرني» اتركني «ومن خلقت» عطف على المفعول أو مفعول معه «وحيدا» حال من مَن أو من ضميره المحذوف من خلقت منفردا بلا أهل ولا مال هو الوليد بن المغيرة المخزومي.
Saheeh InternationalAnd to whom I granted extensive wealth
Ali BulaçKi Ben ona, 'alabildiğine geniş kapsamlı bir mal’ (servet) verdim
Yusuf AliTo whom I granted resources in abundance
«وجعلت له مالا ممدودا» واسعا متصلا من الزروع والضروع والتجارة.
Saheeh InternationalAnd children present [with him]
Ali BulaçGöz önünde-hazır çocuklar (verdim)
Yusuf AliAnd sons to be by his side
«وبنين» عشرة أو أكثر «شهودا» يشهدون المحافل وتسمع شهاداتهم.
Saheeh InternationalAnd spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]
Ali BulaçVe sayısız imkan ve fırsatları önüne serdim
Yusuf AliTo whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable
«ومهدت» بسطت «له» في العيش والعمر والولد «تمهيدا».
Saheeh InternationalThen he desires that I should add more
Ali BulaçSonra, daha arttırmam için tamah eder (doyumsuz istekte bulunur)
Yusuf AliYet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more)
«ثم يطمع أن أزيد».
Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate
Ali BulaçHayır; çünkü o, Bizim ayetlerimize karşı 'kesin bir inatçıdır
Yusuf AliBy no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory
«كلا» لا أزيده على ذلك «إنه كان لآياتنا» القرآن «عنيدا» معاندا.
Saheeh InternationalI will cover him with arduous torment
Ali BulaçOnu alabildiğine sarp bir yokuşa süreceğim
Yusuf AliSoon will I visit him with a mount of calamities
«سأرهقه» أكلفه «صعودا» مشقة من العذاب أو جبلا من نار يصعد فيه ثم يهوي أبدا.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he thought and deliberated
Ali BulaçÇünkü o, düşündü ve bir ölçü tespit etti
Yusuf AliFor he thought and he plotted
«إنه فكر» فيما يقول في القرآن الذي سمعه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم «وقدر» في نفسه ذلك.
Saheeh InternationalSo may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated
Ali BulaçKahrolası, nasıl bir ölçü koydu
Yusuf AliAnd woe to him! How he plotted
«فقتل» لعن وعذب «كيف قدر» على أي حال كان تقديره.
Saheeh InternationalThen may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated
Ali BulaçYine kahrolası, nasıl bir ölçü koydu
Yusuf AliYea, Woe to him; How he plotted
«ثم قتل كيف قدر».
Saheeh InternationalThen he considered [again]
Ali BulaçSonra bir baktı
Yusuf AliThen he looked round
«ثم نظر» في وجوه قومه أو فيما يقدح به فيه.
Saheeh InternationalThen he frowned and scowled
Ali BulaçSonra kaşlarını çattı ve yüzünü ekşitti
Yusuf AliThen he frowned and he scowled
«ثم عبس» قبض وجهه وكلحه ضيقا بما يقول «وبسر» زاد في القبض والكلوح.
Saheeh InternationalThen he turned back and was arrogant
Ali BulaçSonra da sırt çevirdi ve büyüklük tasladı (istikbar)
Yusuf AliThen he turned back and was haughty
«ثم أدبر» عن الإيمان «واستكبر» تكبر عن اتباع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Saheeh InternationalAnd said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]
Ali BulaçBöylece: "Bu, yalnızca 'aktarılarak öğrenilen' bir büyüdür" dedi
Yusuf AliThen said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old
«فقال» فيما جاء به «إن» ما «هذا إلا سحر يؤثر» ينقل عن السحرة.
Saheeh InternationalThis is not but the word of a human being
Ali BulaçBu, bir beşer sözünden başkası değildir
Yusuf AliThis is nothing but the word of a mortal
ما «إن هذا إلا قول البشر» كما قالوا إنما يعلمه بشر.
Saheeh InternationalI will drive him into Saqar
Ali BulaçOnu Ben, cehenneme sürükleyip-atacağım
Yusuf AliSoon will I cast him into Hell-Fire
«سأصليه» أُدخله «سقر» جهنم.
Saheeh InternationalAnd what can make you know what is Saqar
Ali BulaçCehennem (sakar) nedir, sen bilir misin
Yusuf AliAnd what will explain to thee what Hell-Fire is
«وما أدراك ما سقر» تعظيم شأنها.
Saheeh InternationalIt lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned]
Ali BulaçNe alıkoyar, ne bırakır
Yusuf AliNaught doth it permit to endure, and naught doth it leave alone
«لا تبقي ولا تذر» شيئا من لحم ولا عصب إلا أهلكته ثم يعود كما كان.
Saheeh InternationalBlackening the skins
Ali BulaçBeşere delicesine susamıştır
Yusuf AliDarkening and changing the colour of man
«لواحة للبشر» محرقة لظاهر الجلد.
Saheeh InternationalOver it are nineteen [angels]
Ali BulaçOnun üzerinde ondokuz vardır
Yusuf AliOver it are Nineteen
«عليها تسعة عشر» ملكا خزنتها قال بعض الكفار وكان قويا شديد البأس أنا أكفيكم سبعة عشر واكفوني أنتم اثنين قال تعالى:
Saheeh InternationalAnd We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity
Ali BulaçBiz o ateşin koruyucularını meleklerden başkasını kılmadık. Ve onların sayısını inkar edenler için yalnızca bir fitne (konusu) yaptık ki, kendilerine kitap verilenler, kesin bir bilgiyle inansın, iman edenlerin de imanları artsın; kendilerine kitap verilenler ve iman edenler (böylece) kuşkuya kapılmasın. Kalplerinde bir hastalık olanlar ile kafirler de şöyle desin: "Allah, bu örnekle neyi anlatmak istedi?" İşte Allah, dilediğini böyle şaşırtıp-saptırır, dilediğini böyle hidayete erdirir. Rabbinin ordularını Kendisi'nden başka (hiç kimse) bilmez. Bu ise, beşer (insan) için yalnızca bir öğüttür
Yusuf AliAnd We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doub ts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth God intend by this ?" Thus doth God leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: an d none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind
«وما جعلنا أصحاب النار إلا ملائكة» أي فلا يطاقون كما يتوهمون «وما جعلنا عدتهم» ذلك «إلا فتنة» ضلالا «للذين كفروا» بأن يقولوا لم كانوا تسعة عشر «ليستيقن» ليستبين «الذين أوتوا الكتاب» أي اليهود صدق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في كونهم تسعة عشر الموافق لما في كتابهم «ويزداد الذين آمنوا» من أهل الكتاب «إيمانا» تصديقا لموافقته ما أتي به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لما في كتابهم «ولا يرتاب الذين أُوتوا الكتاب والمؤمنون» من غيرهم في عدد الملائكة «وليقول الذين في قلوبهم مرض» شك بالمدينة «والكافرون» بمكة «ماذا أراد الله بهذا» العدد «مثلا» سموه لغرابته بذلك وأعرب حالا «كذلك» أي مثل إضلال منكر هذا العدد وهدى مصدقه «يضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وما يعلم جنود ربك» أي الملائكة في قوتهم وأعوانهم «إلا هو وما هي» أي سقر «إلا ذكرى للبشر».
Saheeh InternationalNo! By the moon
Ali BulaçHayır; Ay'a andolsun
Yusuf AliNay, verily: By the Moon
«كلا» استفتاح بمعنى ألا «والقمر».
Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the night when it departs
Ali BulaçDönüp gittiği zaman geceye
Yusuf AliAnd by the Night as it retreateth
«والليل إذا» بفتح الذال «دبر» جاء بعد النهار وفي قراءة إذ دبر بسكون الذال بعدها همزة، أي مضى.
Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the morning when it brightens
Ali BulaçAğardığı zaman sabaha
Yusuf AliAnd by the Dawn as it shineth forth
«والصبح إذا أسفر» ظهر.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions]
Ali BulaçGerçekten o, büyük (musibet)lerden biridir
Yusuf AliThis is but one of the mighty (portents)
«إنها» أي سقر «لإحدى الكبر» البلايا العظام.
Saheeh InternationalAs a warning to humanity
Ali BulaçBeşer (insan) için bir uyarıdır
Yusuf AliA warning to mankind
«نذيرا» حال من إحدى وذكر لأنها بمعنى العذاب «للبشر».
Saheeh InternationalTo whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind
Ali BulaçSizlerden öne geçmek veya geride kalmak isteyenler için
Yusuf AliTo any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind
«لمن شاء منكم» بدل من البشر «أن يتقدم» إلى الخير أو الجنة بالإيمان «أو يتأخر» إلى الشر أو النار بالكفر.
Saheeh InternationalEvery soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
Ali BulaçHer nefis, kazandıklarına karşılık bir rehinedir
Yusuf AliEvery soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds
«كل نفس بما كسبت رهينة» مرهونة مأخوذة بعملها في النار.
Saheeh InternationalExcept the companions of the right
Ali BulaçAncak Ashab-ı Yemin (sağ ehli) hariç
Yusuf AliExcept the Companions of the Right Hand
«إلا أصحاب اليمين» وهم المؤمنون فناجون منها كائنون.
Saheeh International[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other
Ali BulaçOnlar cennetlerdedirler; birbirlerine sorarlar
Yusuf Ali(They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other
«في جنات يتساءلون» بينهم.
Saheeh InternationalAbout the criminals
Ali BulaçSuçlu-günahkarları
Yusuf AliAnd (ask) of the Sinners
«عن المجرمين» وحالهم ويقولون لهم بعد إخراج الموحدين من النار.
Saheeh International[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar
Ali BulaçSizi şu cehenneme sürükleyip-iten nedir
Yusuf AliWhat led you into Hell Fire
«ما سلككم» أدخلكم «في سقر».
Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "We were not of those who prayed
Ali BulaçOnlar: "Biz namaz kılanlardan değildik" dediler
Yusuf AliThey will say: "We were not of those who prayed
«قالوا لم نك من المصلين».
Saheeh InternationalNor did we used to feed the poor
Ali BulaçYoksula yedirmezdik
Yusuf AliNor were we of those who fed the indigent
«ولم نك نطعم المسكين».
Saheeh InternationalAnd we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it]
Ali Bulaç(Batıla ve tutkulara) Dalıp gidenlerle biz de dalar giderdik
Yusuf AliBut we used to talk vanities with vain talkers
«وكنا نخوض» في الباطل «مع الخائضين».
Saheeh InternationalAnd we used to deny the Day of Recompense
Ali BulaçDin (hesap ve ceza) gününü yalan sayıyorduk
Yusuf AliAnd we used to deny the Day of Judgment
«وكنا نكذب بيوم الدين» البعث والجزاء.
Saheeh InternationalUntil there came to us the certainty
Ali BulaçSonunda yakîn (kesin bir gerçek olan ölüm) gelip bize çattı
Yusuf AliUntil there came to us (the Hour) that is certain
«حتى أتانا اليقين» الموت.
Saheeh InternationalSo there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors
Ali BulaçArtık, şefaat edenlerin şefaati onlara bir yarar sağlamaz
Yusuf AliThen will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them
«فما تنفعهم شفاعة الشافعين» من الملائكة والأنبياء والصالحين والمعنى لا شفاعة لهم.
Saheeh InternationalThen what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away
Ali BulaçBuna rağmen, bunlara ne oluyor ki öğütten yüz çevirip duruyorlar
Yusuf AliThen what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition
«فما» مبتدأ «لهم» خبره متعلق بمحذوف انتقل ضميره إليه «عن التذكرة معرضين» حال من الضمير والمعنى أي شيء حصل لهم في إعراضهم عن الاتعاظ.
Saheeh InternationalAs if they were alarmed donkeys
Ali BulaçSanki onlar, ürkmüş yaban eşekleri gibidirler
Yusuf AliAs if they were affrighted asses
«كأنهم حمر مستنفرة» وحشية.
Saheeh InternationalFleeing from a lion
Ali BulaçArslandan korkup-kaçmışlar
Yusuf AliFleeing from a lion
«فرت من قسورة» أسد أي هربت منه أشد الهرب.
Saheeh InternationalRather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about
Ali BulaçHayır; her biri, kendisine açılmış sahifelerin verilmesini ister
Yusuf AliForsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out
«بل يريد كل امرىء منهم أن يؤتى صحفا منشرة» أي من الله تعالى باتباع النبي كما قالوا: لن نؤمن لك حتى تنزل علينا كتابا نقرؤه.
Saheeh InternationalNo! But they do not fear the Hereafter
Ali BulaçHayır; onlar şüphesiz ahiretten korkmuyorlar
Yusuf AliBy no means! But they fear not the Hereafter
«كلا» ردع عما أرادوه «بل لا يخافون الآخرة» أي عذابها.
Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder
Ali BulaçGerçek (şu ki), o (Kur'an,) elbette bir öğüttür
Yusuf AliNay, this surely is an admonition
«كلا» استفتاح «إنه» أي القرآن «تذكرة» عظة.
Saheeh InternationalThen whoever wills will remember it
Ali BulaçArtık kim dilerse, öğüt alıp-düşünür
Yusuf AliLet any who will, keep it in remembrance
«فمن شاء ذكره» قرأه فاتعظ به.
Saheeh InternationalAnd they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness
Ali BulaçAllah dilemedikçe onlar öğüt almazlar; takvanın sahibi (onu kabul etmeye ehil olan) O'dur, mağfiretin sahibi (bağışlamaya ehil olan da) O'dur
Yusuf AliBut none will keep it in remembrance except as God wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness
«وما يذكرون» بالياء والتاء «إلا أن يشاء الله هو أهل التقوى» بأن يتقى «وأهل المغفرة» بأن يغفر لمن اتقاه.
