76. Al-Insaan سُورَةُ الإِنسَانِ

Saheeh InternationalHas there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned

Yusuf AliHas there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDoğrusu biz insanı, imtihan etmek için karışık bir nutfeden (erkek ve kadın sularından) yarattık da onu işitici, görücü yaptık

Yusuf AliVerily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKuşkusuz biz ona yolu gösterdik; ister şükredici olsun, ister nankör

Yusuf AliWe showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze

Yusuf AliFor the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur

Yusuf AliAs to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur

Saheeh InternationalA spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance]

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBir kaynak ki ondan Allah'ın kulları içerler, güzel yollar açarak akıtırlar onu

Yusuf AliA Fountain where the Devotees of God do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance

Saheeh InternationalThey [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO kullar adaklarını yerine getirirler ve fenalığı salgın (olan) bir günden korkarlar

Yusuf AliThey perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide

Saheeh InternationalAnd they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDüşküne, yetime ve esire seve seve yemek yedirirler

Yusuf AliAnd they feed, for the love of God, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive

Saheeh International[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSize sırf Allah rızası için yemek yediriyoruz. Sizden ne bir karşılık, ne de bir teşekkür bekliyoruz

Yusuf Ali(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of God alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz sert ve belalı bir günde Rabbimizden korkarız." derler

Yusuf AliWe only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord

Saheeh InternationalSo Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah da onları o günün fenalığından korur, yüzlerine parlaklık, gönüllerine sevinç verir

Yusuf AliBut God will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy

Saheeh InternationalAnd will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments]

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSabırlarına karşılık onlara bir cennet ve ipekten elbiseler verir

Yusuf AliAnd because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk

Saheeh International[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOrada donatılmış koltuklar üzerine dayanmışlardır: Orada ne yakıcı güneş görürler, ne de şiddetli soğuk

Yusuf AliReclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold

Saheeh InternationalAnd near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÜzerlerine cennet gölgeleri sarkmış, meyveleri bol bol önlerine konmuştur

Yusuf AliAnd the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility

Saheeh InternationalAnd there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass]

Yusuf AliAnd amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal

Saheeh InternationalClear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure

Yusuf AliCrystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes)

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

Yusuf AliAnd they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil

Saheeh International[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel

Saheeh InternationalThere will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEtraflarında ölümsüz hizmetçiler dolaşır, onları görünce saçılmış inciler sanırsın

Yusuf AliAnd round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls

Saheeh InternationalAnd when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great dominion

Yusuf AliAnd when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent

Saheeh InternationalUpon the inhabitants will be green garments of fine silk and brocade. And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a purifying drink

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÜstlerinde zarif ve yeşil, kalın ipekten bir elbise vardır. Gümüş bileziklerle süslenmişlerdir. Rableri onlara temiz bir içecek içirmiştir

Yusuf AliUpon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy

Saheeh International[And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlara şöyle denir): "İşte bu sizin bir mükâfatınızdı. Gayretiniz karşılığını bulmuştur

Yusuf AliVerily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKur'ân'ı sana kısım kısım biz indirdik biz

Yusuf AliIt is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages

Saheeh InternationalSo be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO halde Rabbinin hüküm vermesi için sabret. Onlardan hiçbir günahkâra yahut nanköre itaat etme

Yusuf AliTherefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them

Saheeh InternationalAnd mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening

Yusuf AliAnd celebrate the name or thy Lord morning and evening

Saheeh InternationalAnd during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGecenin bir bölümünde de O'na secde et (akşam ve yatsı namazlarını kıl). Hem de O'nu uzun bir gece tesbih et (teheccüd namazı kıl)

Yusuf AliAnd part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü onlar bu dünyayı seviyorlar ve önlerindeki ağır bir günü arkaya atıyorlar

Yusuf AliAs to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard

Saheeh InternationalWe have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnları biz yarattık ve mafsallarını sımsıkı bağladık. Dilediğimiz vakit de kılıklarını değiştiririz

Yusuf AliIt is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte bu bir öğüttür. Dileyen Rabbine giden yolu tutar

Yusuf AliThis is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord

Saheeh InternationalAnd you do not will except that Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah dilemedikçe siz dileyemezsiniz. Kuşkusuz Allah, bilendir, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir

Yusuf AliBut ye will not, except as God wills; for God is full of Knowledge and Wisdom

Saheeh InternationalHe admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah dilediğini rahmetine sokar. Zalimlere ise, acıklı bir azap hazırlamıştır

Yusuf AliHe will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty
