81. At-Takwir سُورَةُ التَّكۡوِيرِ

Saheeh InternationalWhen the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

Yusuf AliWhen the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up

Süleyman AteşGüneş büzüldüğü zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the stars fall, dispersing

Yusuf AliWhen the stars fall, losing their lustre

Süleyman AteşYıldızlar kararıp döküldüğü zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the mountains are removed

Yusuf AliWhen the mountains vanish (like a mirage)

Süleyman AteşDağlar yürütüldüğü zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when full-term she-camels are neglected

Yusuf AliWhen the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended

Süleyman AteşOn aylık gebe develer başı boş bırakıldığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the wild beasts are gathered

Yusuf AliWhen the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations)

Süleyman AteşVahşi hayvanlar bir araya toplandığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the seas are filled with flame

Yusuf AliWhen the oceans boil over with a swell

Süleyman AteşDenizler kaynatıldığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the souls are paired

Yusuf AliWhen the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like)

Süleyman AteşNefisler çiftleştirildiği zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

Yusuf AliWhen the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned

Süleyman AteşVe sorulduğu zaman o diri diri toprağa gömülen kıza

Saheeh InternationalFor what sin she was killed

Yusuf AliFor what crime she was killed

Süleyman AteşHangi günah(ı) yüzünden öldürüldü? diye

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the pages are made public

Yusuf AliWhen the scrolls are laid open

Süleyman Ateş(Amel) defterler(i) açılıp yayıldığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the sky is stripped away

Yusuf AliWhen the world on High is unveiled

Süleyman AteşGök sıyrılıp açıldığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when Hellfire is set ablaze

Yusuf AliWhen the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat

Süleyman AteşCehennem alevlendirildiği zaman

Saheeh InternationalAnd when Paradise is brought near

Yusuf AliAnd when the Garden is brought near

Süleyman AteşCennet yaklaştırıldığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalA soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]

Yusuf Ali(Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward

Süleyman AteşHer can, ne yapıp getirdiğini bilir

Saheeh InternationalSo I swear by the retreating stars

Yusuf AliSo verily I call to witness the planets - that recede

Süleyman AteşYoo, yemin ederim o geri kalıp gizlenenlere

Saheeh InternationalThose that run [their courses] and disappear

Yusuf AliGo straight, or hide

Süleyman AteşAkıp gidenlere, dönüp saklananlara

Saheeh InternationalAnd by the night as it closes in

Yusuf AliAnd the Night as it dissipates

Süleyman AteşSırtını dönen geceye

Saheeh InternationalAnd by the dawn when it breathes

Yusuf AliAnd the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness

Süleyman AteşSoluk almağa başlayan sabaha

Saheeh International[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

Yusuf AliVerily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger

Süleyman Ateş(Andolsun bunlara) Ki o, değerli bir elçinin (Cebrail'in) sözüdür

Saheeh International[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position]

Yusuf AliEndued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne

Süleyman Ateş(O elçi,) Güçlüdür, Arşın sahibi (Allah) katında yücedir

Saheeh InternationalObeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy

Yusuf AliWith authority there, (and) faithful to his trust

Süleyman AteşOrada (kendisine) ita'at edilen, güvenilendir

Saheeh InternationalAnd your companion is not [at all] mad

Yusuf AliAnd (O people!) your companion is not one possessed

Süleyman AteşArkadaşınız cinli değildir

Saheeh InternationalAnd he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon

Yusuf AliAnd without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon

Süleyman AteşAndolsun (Muhammed) onu apaçık ufukta görmüştür

Saheeh InternationalAnd Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen

Yusuf AliNeither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen

Süleyman AteşO, gayb hakkında (verdiği haberlerden dolayı) suçlanamaz

Saheeh InternationalAnd the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]

Yusuf AliNor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed

Süleyman AteşO (Kur'an) kovulmuş şeytanın sözü değildir

Saheeh InternationalSo where are you going

Yusuf AliWhen whither go ye

Süleyman AteşO halde nereye gidiyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalIt is not except a reminder to the worlds

Yusuf AliVerily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds

Süleyman AteşO, alemlere öğüttür

Saheeh InternationalFor whoever wills among you to take a right course

Yusuf Ali(With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight

Süleyman AteşAranızdan doğru hareket etmek isteyen için

Saheeh InternationalAnd you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds

Yusuf AliBut ye shall not will except as God wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds

Süleyman AteşAlemlerin Rabbi Allah dilemedikçe siz dileyemezsiniz
