81. At-Takwir سُورَةُ التَّكۡوِيرِ

Saheeh InternationalWhen the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

Yusuf AliWhen the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the stars fall, dispersing

Yusuf AliWhen the mountains vanish (like a mirage)

Saheeh InternationalAnd when full-term she-camels are neglected

Ali BulaçGebe develer, kendi başına terk edildiği zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the wild beasts are gathered

Ali BulaçVahşi-hayvanlar, toplandığı zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations)

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the seas are filled with flame

Ali BulaçDenizler, tutuşturulduğu zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the oceans boil over with a swell

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the souls are paired

Ali BulaçNefisler, birleştiği zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like)

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

Ali BulaçVe 'diri diri toprağa gömülen kızcağıza' sorulduğu zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned

Saheeh InternationalFor what sin she was killed

Ali BulaçHangi suçtan dolayı öldürüldü

Yusuf AliFor what crime she was killed

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the pages are made public

Ali BulaçSahifeler (amel defterleri) açıldığı zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the scrolls are laid open

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the sky is stripped away

Ali BulaçGök, sıyrılıp-yüzüldüğü zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the world on High is unveiled

Saheeh InternationalAnd when Hellfire is set ablaze

Ali BulaçCehennem ateşi çılgınca kızıştırıldığı zaman

Yusuf AliWhen the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat

Saheeh InternationalAnd when Paradise is brought near

Ali BulaçCennet de yakınlaştırıldığı zaman

Yusuf AliAnd when the Garden is brought near

Saheeh InternationalA soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]

Ali Bulaç(Artık her) Nefis, neyi hazırladığını bilip-öğrenmiştir

Yusuf Ali(Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward

Saheeh InternationalSo I swear by the retreating stars

Ali BulaçArtık hayır; yemin ederim (gündüz) sinip (gece) dönen (gezegen)lere

Yusuf AliSo verily I call to witness the planets - that recede

Saheeh InternationalThose that run [their courses] and disappear

Ali BulaçBir akış içinde yerini alanlara

Yusuf AliGo straight, or hide

Saheeh InternationalAnd by the night as it closes in

Ali BulaçKararmaya ilk başladığı zaman, geceye andolsun

Yusuf AliAnd the Night as it dissipates

Saheeh InternationalAnd by the dawn when it breathes

Ali BulaçVe nefes almaya başladığı zaman, sabaha

Yusuf AliAnd the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness

Saheeh International[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz o (Kur'an), üstün onur sahibi bir elçinin gerçekten (Allah'tan getirdiği) sözüdür

Yusuf AliVerily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger

Saheeh International[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position]

Ali Bulaç(Bu elçi,) Bir güç sahibidir, arşın sahibi Katında şereflidir

Yusuf AliEndued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne

Saheeh InternationalObeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy

Yusuf AliWith authority there, (and) faithful to his trust

Saheeh InternationalAnd your companion is not [at all] mad

Yusuf AliAnd (O people!) your companion is not one possessed

Saheeh InternationalAnd he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon

Ali BulaçAndolsun o (peygamber), onu apaçık bir ufukta görmüştür

Yusuf AliAnd without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon

Saheeh InternationalAnd Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen

Ali BulaçO, gayb (haberlerin)e karşı (söylediklerinden dolayı) suçlanamaz (ya da cimrilikte bulunup kıskançlık yapmaz)

Yusuf AliNeither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen

Saheeh InternationalAnd the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]

Ali BulaçO (Kur'an) da kovulmuş şeytanın sözü değildir

Yusuf AliNor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed

Saheeh InternationalSo where are you going

Ali BulaçŞu halde, siz nereye kaçıp-gidiyorsunuz

Yusuf AliWhen whither go ye

Saheeh InternationalIt is not except a reminder to the worlds

Ali BulaçO (Kur'an), alemler için yalnızca bir zikirdir

Yusuf AliVerily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalFor whoever wills among you to take a right course

Ali BulaçSizden dosdoğru bir yön (istikamet) tutturmak dileyenler için

Yusuf Ali(With profit) to whoever among you wills to go straight

Saheeh InternationalAnd you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds

Ali BulaçAlemlerin Rabbi olan Allah dilemedikçe siz dileyemezsiniz

Yusuf AliBut ye shall not will except as God wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds
