85:1 📚 8
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ
göğe andolsun
ذَاتِ
sahibi
ٱلْبُرُوجِ
burçlar

Yusuf AliBy the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs

85:2
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ
وَٱلْيَوْمِ
ve güne andolsun
ٱلْمَوْعُودِ
va'dedilen

Yusuf AliBy the promised Day (of Judgment)

85:3
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ
وَشَاهِدٍۢ
ve şahide andolsun
وَمَشْهُودٍۢ
ve şahidlik edilene

Yusuf AliBy one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness

85:4
قُتِلَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ
قُتِلَ
kahroldu
أَصْحَـٰبُ
adamları
ٱلْأُخْدُودِ
hendeğin

Yusuf AliWoe to the makers of the pit (of fire)

85:5
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ
ٱلنَّارِ
ateş
ذَاتِ
dolu
ٱلْوَقُودِ
tutuşturulmuş yakıt

Yusuf AliFire supplied (abundantly) with fuel

85:6
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ
إِذْ
hani
هُمْ
onlar
عَلَيْهَا
onun başında
قُعُودٌۭ
oturmuşlardı

Yusuf AliBehold! they sat over against the (fire)

85:7
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
وَهُمْ
ve onlar
عَلَىٰ
şeyleri
مَا
what
يَفْعَلُونَ
yaptıkları
بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
mü'minlere
شُهُودٌۭ
seyrediyorlardı

Yusuf AliAnd they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers

85:8
وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ
وَمَا
ve
نَقَمُوا۟
öc almadılar
مِنْهُمْ
onlardan
إِلَّآ
başka bir sebeple
أَن
inanmalarından
يُؤْمِنُوا۟
they believed
بِٱللَّهِ
Allah'a
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
aziz
ٱلْحَمِيدِ
övgüye layık

Yusuf AliAnd they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in God, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise

85:9
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ‌ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
ٱلَّذِى
O ki
لَهُۥ
O'nundur
مُلْكُ
hükümranlığı
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
göklerin
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ
ve yerin
وَٱللَّهُ
ve Allah
عَلَىٰ
üzerine
كُلِّ
her
شَىْءٍۢ
şey
شَهِيدٌ
tanıktır

Yusuf AliHim to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And God is Witness to all things

85:10 📚 1
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ
إِنَّ
şüphesiz
ٱلَّذِينَ
kimseler
فَتَنُوا۟
işkence eden(ler)
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
inanan erkeklere
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ
ve inanan kadınlara
ثُمَّ
sonra
لَمْ
tevbe etmeyenler
يَتُوبُوا۟
they repented
فَلَهُمْ
onlar için vardır
عَذَابُ
azabı
جَهَنَّمَ
cehennem
وَلَهُمْ
ve onlar için vardır
عَذَابُ
azabı
ٱلْحَرِيقِ
yangın

Yusuf AliThose who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire

85:11
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ‌ۚ ذَٲلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
إِنَّ
şüphesiz
ٱلَّذِينَ
kimseler
ءَامَنُوا۟
inanan(lar)
وَعَمِلُوا۟
ve yapanlar
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
iyi işler
لَهُمْ
onlar için vardır
جَنَّـٰتٌۭ
cennetler
تَجْرِى
akan
مِن
altlarından
تَحْتِهَا
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ
ırmaklar
ذَٰلِكَ
işte budur
ٱلْفَوْزُ
başarı
ٱلْكَبِيرُ
büyük

Yusuf AliFor those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires)

85:12 📚 4
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
إِنَّ
şüphesiz
بَطْشَ
tutuşu
رَبِّكَ
Rabbinin
لَشَدِيدٌ
şiddetlidir

Yusuf AliTruly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord

85:13
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
إِنَّهُۥ
şüphesiz O
هُوَ
O'dur
يُبْدِئُ
ilkin var eden
وَيُعِيدُ
sonra yeniden devam eden

Yusuf AliIt is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life)

85:14 📚 1
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ
وَهُوَ
ve O
ٱلْغَفُورُ
bağışlayandır
ٱلْوَدُودُ
sevendir

Yusuf AliAnd He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness

85:15 📚 4
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ
ذُو
sahibidir
ٱلْعَرْشِ
Arş'ın
ٱلْمَجِيدُ
yücedir

Yusuf AliLord of the Throne of Glory

85:16 📚 14
فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
فَعَّالٌۭ
yapandır
لِّمَا
şeyi
يُرِيدُ
istediği

Yusuf AliDoer (without let) of all that He intends

85:17
هَلْ أَتَـٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ
هَلْ
sana geldimi?
أَتَىٰكَ
come to you
حَدِيثُ
haberi
ٱلْجُنُودِ
orduların

Yusuf AliHas the story reached thee, of the forces

85:18
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
فِرْعَوْنَ
Fir'avn'ın
وَثَمُودَ
ve Semud'un

Yusuf AliOf Pharaoh and the Thamud

85:19
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ
بَلِ
doğrusu
ٱلَّذِينَ
kimseler
كَفَرُوا۟
inkar eden(ler)
فِى
içindedirler
تَكْذِيبٍۢ
bir yalanlama

Yusuf AliAnd yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)

85:20
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ
وَٱللَّهُ
fakat Allah
مِن
onları arkalarından
وَرَآئِهِم
behind them
مُّحِيطٌۢ
kuşatmıştır

Yusuf AliBut God doth encompass them from behind

85:21
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌ مَّجِيدٌ
بَلْ
hayır
هُوَ
o
قُرْءَانٌۭ
bir Kur'an'dır
مَّجِيدٌۭ
şerefli

Yusuf AliDay, this is a Glorious Qur'an

85:22 📚 3
فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظِۭ
فِى
bir levhadadır
لَوْحٍۢ
a Tablet
مَّحْفُوظٍۭ
korunan
