85:1 📚 8

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ

Saheeh InternationalBy the sky containing great stars

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİçinde burçları bulunan göğe and olsun

Yusuf AliBy the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs

85:2

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the promised Day

Diyanet İşleri MealiSöz verilen kıyamet gününe and olsun

Yusuf AliBy the promised Day (of Judgment)

85:3

وَشَاهِدࣲ وَمَشۡهُودࣲ‏

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the witness and what is witnessed

Diyanet İşleri MealiŞahitlik edene ve edilene and olsun ki, insanlar öldükten sonra diriltileceklerdir

Yusuf AliBy one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness

85:4

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ

Saheeh InternationalCursed were the companions of the trench

Diyanet İşleri MealiHazırladıkları hendekleri, tutuşturulmuş ateşle doldurarak onun çevresinde oturup, inanmış kimselere dinlerinden dönmeleri için yaptıkları işkenceleri seyredenler kahrolmuştur

Yusuf AliWoe to the makers of the pit (of fire)

85:5

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ

Saheeh International[Containing] the fire full of fuel

Yusuf AliFire supplied (abundantly) with fuel

85:6

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودࣱ‏

Saheeh InternationalWhen they were sitting near it

Yusuf AliBehold! they sat over against the (fire)

85:7

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودࣱ‏

Saheeh InternationalAnd they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses

Yusuf AliAnd they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers

85:8

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

Saheeh InternationalAnd they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy

Diyanet İşleri MealiBu inkarcıların, inananlara kızmaları; onların sadece, göklerin ve yerin hükümranlığı kendisinin bulunan ve övülmeğe layık ve güçlü olan Allah'a inanmış olmalarındandı. Allah her şeye şahiddir

Yusuf AliAnd they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in God, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise

85:9

ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ شَهِيدٌ

Saheeh InternationalTo whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness

Yusuf AliHim to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And God is Witness to all things

85:10 📚 1

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire

Diyanet İşleri MealiAma inanmış erkek ve kadınlara işkence ederek onları dinlerinden çevirmeğe uğraşanlar, eğer tevbe etmezlerse, onlara cehennem azabı vardır. Yakıcı azap da onlaradır

Yusuf AliThose who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire

85:11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣱ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment

Diyanet İşleri MealiŞüphesiz inanıp yararlı işler işleyenlere, onlara, içlerinden ırmaklar akan cennetler vardır. Bu, büyük kurtuluştur

Yusuf AliFor those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires)

85:12 📚 4

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu Rabbinin yakalaması amansızdır

Yusuf AliTruly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord

85:13

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats

Diyanet İşleri MealiÖnce yaratıp sonra bunu tekrar eden O'dur

Yusuf AliIt is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life)

85:14 📚 1

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ

Saheeh InternationalAnd He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate

Diyanet İşleri MealiYüce arşın sahibi, çok seven, bağışlayan O'dur

Yusuf AliAnd He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness

85:15 📚 4

ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ

Saheeh InternationalHonorable Owner of the Throne

Yusuf AliLord of the Throne of Glory

85:16 📚 14

فَعَّالࣱ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

Saheeh InternationalEffecter of what He intends

Diyanet İşleri MealiHer dilediğini mutlaka yapandır

Yusuf AliDoer (without let) of all that He intends
