89:1
وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ

Yusuf AliBy the break of Day

Diyanet İşleri MealiTanyerinin ağarmasına and olsun

Saheeh InternationalBy the dawn

89:2
وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرࣲ‏

Yusuf AliBy the Nights twice five

Diyanet İşleri MealiZilhicce ayının ilk on gecesine and olsun

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] ten nights

89:3
وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ

Yusuf AliBy the even and odd (contrasted)

Diyanet İşleri MealiHerşeyin çiftine de, tekine de and olsun

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the even [number] and the odd

89:4
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ

Yusuf AliAnd by the Night when it passeth away

Diyanet İşleri MealiGelip geçen geceye and olsun ki, bunların her biri akıl sahibi için birer yemine değmez mi

Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the night when it passes

89:5 📚 5
هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمࣱ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ

Yusuf AliIs there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand

Diyanet İşleri MealiGelip geçen geceye and olsun ki, bunların her biri akıl sahibi için birer yemine değmez mi

Saheeh InternationalIs there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception

89:6 📚 1
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ

Yusuf AliSeest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people)

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbinin, hiçbir memlekette benzeri ortaya konmayan sütunlara sahip İrem şehrinde oturan Ad milletine ne ettiğini görmedin mi

Saheeh InternationalHave you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad

89:7 📚 3
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ

Yusuf AliOf the (city of) Iram, with lofty pillars

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbinin, hiçbir memlekette benzeri ortaya konmayan sütunlara sahip İrem şehrinde oturan Ad milletine ne ettiğini görmedin mi

Saheeh International[With] Iram - who had lofty pillars

89:8
ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ

Yusuf AliThe like of which were not produced in (all) the land

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbinin, hiçbir memlekette benzeri ortaya konmayan sütunlara sahip İrem şehrinde oturan Ad milletine ne ettiğini görmedin mi

Saheeh InternationalThe likes of whom had never been created in the land

89:9 📚 1
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ

Yusuf AliAnd with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley

Saheeh InternationalAnd [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley

89:10
وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

Yusuf AliAnd with Pharaoh, lord of stakes

Saheeh InternationalAnd [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes

89:11
ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ

Yusuf Ali(All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands

Saheeh International[All of] whom oppressed within the lands

89:12
فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ

Yusuf AliAnd heaped therein mischief (on mischief)

Saheeh InternationalAnd increased therein the corruption

89:13 📚 1
فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ

Yusuf AliTherefore did thy Lord pour on them a scourge of diverse chastisements

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbin onları azap kırbacından geçirmiştir

Saheeh InternationalSo your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment

89:14 📚 11
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ

Yusuf AliFor thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu Rabbin hep gözetlemektedir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your Lord is in observation

89:15 📚 4
فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ

Yusuf AliNow, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me

Diyanet İşleri MealiRabbin denemek için bir insana iyilik edip, nimet verdiği zaman, o: "Rabbim beni şerefli kıldı" der

Saheeh InternationalAnd as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me

89:16
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ

Yusuf AliBut when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me

Diyanet İşleri MealiAma onu sınamak için rızkını daraltıp bir ölçüye göre verdiği zaman: "Rabbim bana hor baktı" der

Saheeh InternationalBut when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me

89:17 📚 1
كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ

Yusuf AliNay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans

Diyanet İşleri MealiHayır; yetime karşı cömert davranmıyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalNo! But you do not honor the orphan

89:18
وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

Yusuf AliNor do ye encourage one another to feed the poor

Diyanet İşleri MealiYoksulu yedirmek konusunda birbirinize özenmiyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalAnd you do not encourage one another to feed the poor

89:19
وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلࣰ ا لَّمࣰّ ا

Yusuf AliAnd ye devour inheritance - all with greed

Diyanet İşleri MealiSize kalan mirası hak gözetmeden yiyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalAnd you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether

89:20
وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبࣰّ ا جَمࣰّ ا

Yusuf AliAnd ye love wealth with inordinate love

Diyanet İşleri MealiMalı pek çok seviyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalAnd you love wealth with immense love

89:21
كَلَّآۖ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ دَكࣰّ ا دَكࣰّ ا

Yusuf AliNay! When the earth is pounded to powder

Diyanet İşleri MealiAma yer, çarpılıp paralandığı zaman

Saheeh InternationalNo! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed

89:22
وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفࣰّ ا صَفࣰّ ا

Yusuf AliAnd thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank

Diyanet İşleri MealiMelekler sıra sıra dizilip, Rabbinin buyruğu gelince

Saheeh InternationalAnd your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank

89:23
وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ

Yusuf AliAnd Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him

Diyanet İşleri MealiO gün, cehennem ortaya konur. O gün insan öğüt almaya çalışır ama artık öğütten ona ne

Saheeh InternationalAnd brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance

89:24
يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي

Yusuf AliHe will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life

Diyanet İşleri MealiKeşke bu hayatım için önceden bir şey yapsaymışım" der

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life

89:25
فَيَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدࣱ‏

Yusuf AliFor, that Day, His Chastisement will be such as none (else) can inflict

Diyanet İşleri MealiO gün, hiç kimse, Allah'ın azabettiği gibi azabedemez

Saheeh InternationalSo on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment

89:26 📚 1
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدࣱ‏

Yusuf AliAnd His bonds will be such as none (other) can bind

Diyanet İşleri MealiHiç kimse O'nun vurduğu bağ gibisini bağlayamaz

Saheeh InternationalAnd none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers]

89:27
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ

Yusuf Ali(To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy huzur içinde olan can

Saheeh International[To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul

89:28 📚 11
ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةࣰ مَّرۡضِيَّةࣰ‏

Yusuf AliCome back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him

Diyanet İşleri MealiO, senden, sen de O'ndan hoşnut olarak Rabbine dön

Saheeh InternationalReturn to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him]

89:29 📚 1
فَٱدۡخُلِي فِي عِبَٰدِي

Yusuf AliEnter thou, then, among My devotees

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy can! İyi kullarımın arasına gir

Saheeh InternationalAnd enter among My [righteous] servants

89:30
وَٱدۡخُلِي جَنَّتِي

Yusuf AliYea, enter thou My Heaven

Diyanet İşleri MealiCennetime gir

Saheeh InternationalAnd enter My Paradise
