Saheeh InternationalAnd [by] the father and that which was born [of him]

Yusuf AliVerily We have created man into toil and struggle

Saheeh InternationalWe have certainly created man into hardship

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz insanı gerçekten bir sıkıntı içinde yarattık

Yusuf AliThinketh he, that none hath power over him

Saheeh InternationalDoes he think that never will anyone overcome him

Yusuf AliHe may say (boastfully); Wealth have I squandered in abundance

Saheeh InternationalHe says, "I have spent wealth in abundance

Yusuf AliThinketh he that none beholdeth him

Saheeh InternationalDoes he think that no one has seen him

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKendisini bir gören olmadı mı sanıyor

Yusuf AliHave We not made for him a pair of eyes

Saheeh InternationalHave We not made for him two eyes

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz ona iki göz vermedik mi

Yusuf AliAnd a tongue, and a pair of lips

Saheeh InternationalAnd a tongue and two lips

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBir dil ve iki dudak

Yusuf AliAnd shown him the two highways

Saheeh InternationalAnd have shown him the two ways

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOna iki yolu gösterdik

Yusuf AliBut he hath made no haste on the path that is steep

Saheeh InternationalBut he has not broken through the difficult pass

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat o, o sarp yokuşa göğüs veremedi

Yusuf AliAnd what will explain to thee the path that is steep

Saheeh InternationalAnd what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBildin mi sen, o sarp yokuş nedir

Yusuf Ali(It is:) freeing the bondman

Saheeh InternationalIt is the freeing of a slave

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKöle azat etmek

Yusuf AliOr the giving of food in a day of privation

Saheeh InternationalOr feeding on a day of severe hunger

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVeya salgın bir kıtlık gününde yemek yedirmektir

Yusuf AliTo the orphan with claims of relationship

Saheeh InternationalAn orphan of near relationship

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYakınlığı olan bir yetime

Yusuf AliOr to the indigent (down) in the dust

Saheeh InternationalOr a needy person in misery

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVeya hiçbir şeyi olmayan yoksula

Yusuf AliThen will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion

Saheeh InternationalAnd then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion

Yusuf AliSuch are the Companions of the Right Hand

Saheeh InternationalThose are the companions of the right
