94. Ash-Sharh سُورَةُ الشَّرۡحِ
Yusuf AliHave We not expanded thee thy breast
Saheeh InternationalDid We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast
«ألم نشرح» استفهام تقرير أي شرحنا «لك» يا محمد «صدرك» بالنبوة وغيرها.
Yusuf AliAnd removed from thee thy burden
Saheeh InternationalAnd We removed from you your burden
«ووضعنا» حططنا «عنك وزرك».
Yusuf AliThe which did gall thy back
Saheeh InternationalWhich had weighed upon your back
(الذي أنقض) أثقل (ظهرك) وهذا كقوله تعالى: "" ليغفر لك الله ما تقدم من ذنبك "".
Yusuf AliAnd raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)
Saheeh InternationalAnd raised high for you your repute
«ورفعنا لك ذكرك» بأن تُذكر مع ذكري في الآذان والإقامة والتشهد والخطبة وغيرها.
Yusuf AliSo, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief
Saheeh InternationalFor indeed, with hardship [will be] ease
«فإن مع العسر» الشدة «يسرا» سهولة.
Yusuf AliVerily, with every difficulty there is relief
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, with hardship [will be] ease
«إن مع العسر يسراً» والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قاسى من الكفار شدة ثم حصل له اليسر بنصره عليهم.
Yusuf AliTherefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard
Saheeh InternationalSo when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]
«فإذا فرغت» من الصلاة «فانصب» اتعب في الدعاء.
Yusuf AliAnd to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention
Saheeh InternationalAnd to your Lord direct [your] longing
«وإلى ربك فارغب» تضرع.
