14. Ibrahim سُورَةُ إِبۡرَاهِيمَ

Saheeh InternationalAlif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy

Yusuf AliL. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise

Süleyman AteşElif lam ra. (Bu,) Rablerinin izniyle insanları karanlıklardan aydınlığa çıkarıp o güçlü ve övgüye layık olan(Allah)ın yoluna iletmen için sana indirdiğimiz Kitaptır

Saheeh InternationalAllah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe punishment

Yusuf AliOf God, to Whom do belong all things in the heavens and on earth! But alas for the Unbelievers for a terrible penalty (their Unfaith will bring them)

Süleyman AteşO Allah ki, göklerde ve yerde olanların hepsi O'nundur. Çetin azabdan dolayı vay şu kafirlerin haline

Saheeh InternationalThe ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error

Yusuf AliThose who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of God and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance

Süleyman AteşKi onlar, dünya hayatını ahirete tercih ederler, Allah'ın yoluna engel olur ve onun eğrilmesini isterler. İşte onlar, derin bir sapıklık içindedirler

Saheeh InternationalAnd We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise

Yusuf AliWe sent not an apostle except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now God leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom

Süleyman AteşBiz, her elçiyi kendi kavminin diliyle gönderdik ki olara açıklasın. Allah dilediğini şaşırtır, dilediğini yola iletir. O, azizdir, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir

Saheeh InternationalAnd We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], "Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah." Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful

Yusuf AliWe sent Moses with Our signs (and the command). "Bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the Days of God." Verily in this there are Signs for such as are firmly patient and constant,- grateful and appreciative

Süleyman AteşAndolsun biz, Musa'yı da "Kavmini karanlıklardan aydınlığa çıkar, onlara Allah'ın günlerini (geçmiş milletlerin başlarına gelen olayları) hatırlat!" diye ayetlerimizle birlikte göndermiştik. Şüphesiz bunda sabreden, şükreden herkes için ayetler (ibret verici işaretler) vardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, "Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord

Yusuf AliRemember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of God to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord

Süleyman AteşMusa, kavmine demişti ki: "Allah'ın üzerinizdeki ni'metini hatırlayın, O sizi Fir'avn soyundan kurtardı. Onlar sizi işkencenin en kötüsüne koşuyorlar, oğullarınızı kesiyorlar, kadınlarınızı sağ bırakıyorlardı. Bunda Rabbinizden size büyük bir imtihan vardı

Saheeh InternationalAnd [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe

Yusuf AliAnd remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed

Süleyman AteşVe Rabbiniz size şöyle bildirmişti: "Andolsun şükrederseniz elbette size daha fazla veririm ve eğer nankörlük ederseniz azabım pek çetindir

Saheeh InternationalAnd Moses said, "If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely - indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy

Yusuf AliAnd Moses said: "If ye show ingratitude, ye and all on earth together, yet is God free of all wants, worthy of all praise

Süleyman AteşVe Musa dedi ki: "Siz ve yeryüzünde bulunanlar hep nankörlük etseniz, iyi bilin ki Allah zengindir, övülmüştür (sizin şükrünüze muhtaç değildir)

Saheeh InternationalHas there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah. Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt

Yusuf AliHas not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? - of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? - And of those who (came) after them? None knows them but God. To them came apostles with Clear (Signs); but they put the ir hands up to their mouths, and said: "We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent, and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us

Süleyman AteşSizden öncekilerin: Nuh, 'Ad ve Semud kavimlerinin ve onlardan sonra gelenlerin -ki onları(n sayısını) Allah'tan başka kimse bilmez- haberi size gelmedi mi? Elçileri onlara kanıtlar getirdi de onlar, ellerini ağızlarına koydu (öfkelerinden parmaklarını ısırdı)lar (yahut: peygamberlerin ağızlarını tuttular): "Biz sizinle gönderilen mesajı tanımadık ve biz sizin bizi çağırdığınız şeye karşı derin bir kuşku içindeyiz!" dediler

Saheeh InternationalTheir messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority

Yusuf AliTheir apostles said: "Is there a doubt about God, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!" They said: "Ah! ye are no more than hu man, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods) our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority

Süleyman AteşElçileri: "Gökleri ve yeri yaratan Allah hakkında şüphe (edilir) mi? (O), sizin günahlarınızdan bir kısmını bağışlamak ve sizi belirtilmiş bir süreye kadar ertelemek için sizi davet ediyor" dediler. Onlar: "Siz de bizim gibi bir insandan başka bir şey değilsiniz. Bizi, atalarımızın taptığından çevirmek istiyorsunuz. O halde bize açık bir delil getirin!" dediler

Saheeh InternationalTheir messengers said to them, "We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely

Yusuf AliTheir apostles said to them: "True, we are human like yourselves, but God doth grant His grace to such of his servants as He pleases. It is not for us to bring you an authority except as God permits. And on God let all men of faith put their tr ust

Süleyman AteşElçileri onlara dediler ki: "Evet biz de sizin gibi insandan başka bir şey değiliz. Fakat Allah, kullarından dilediğine lutfeder. Allah'ın izni olmadan biz size delil getiremeyiz. İnananlar, Allah'a dayansınlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely

Yusuf AliNo reason have we why we should not put our trust on God. Indeed He Has guided us to the Ways we (follow). We shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us. For those who put their trust should put their trust on God

Süleyman AteşBize yollarımızı göstermişken neden biz Allah'a dayanmayalım? Sizin bize yaptığınız eziyetlere katlanacağız. Tevekkül edenler, Allah'a dayansınlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who disbelieved said to their messengers, "We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion." So their Lord inspired to them, "We will surely destroy the wrongdoers

Yusuf AliAnd the Unbelievers said to their apostles: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish

Süleyman Ateşİnkar edenler, elçilerine dediler ki: "Ya sizi mutlaka yurdumuzdan çıkarırız, ya da bizim dinimize dönersiniz!" Rableri de onlara şöyle vahyetti, "zalimleri mutlaka helak edeceğiz

Saheeh InternationalAnd We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them. That is for he who fears My position and fears My threat

Yusuf AliAnd verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they shall stand before My tribunal,- such as fear the punishment denounced

Süleyman AteşVe onların ardından sizi o yere yerleştireceğiz. Bu, makamımdan korkan ve tehdidimden korkan için(verdiğim söz)dür

Saheeh InternationalAnd they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant

Yusuf AliBut they sought victory and decision (there and then), and frustration was the lot of every powerful obstinate transgressor

Süleyman Ateş(Elçiler, düşmanlarına karşı Allah'tan) fetih istediler ve her inatçı zorba perişan oldu

Saheeh InternationalBefore him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water

Yusuf AliIn front of such a one is Hell, and he is given, for drink, boiling fetid water

Süleyman AteşArdından da kendisine irin (gibi) bir suyun içirileceği cehennem vardır

Saheeh InternationalHe will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment

Yusuf AliIn gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near swallowing it down his throat: death will come to him from every quarter, yet will he not die: and in front of him will be a chastisement unrelenting

Süleyman AteşO suyu yutmağa çalışır, fakat boğazından geçiremez ve her yandan ona ölüm geldiği halde yine ölemez. Bunun ardından da kaba bir azab

Saheeh InternationalThe example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is what is extreme error

Yusuf AliThe parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal)

Süleyman AteşRablerine karşı nankörlük edenlerin iyi işleri, tıpkı fırtınalı bir günde rüzgarın savurduğu küle benzer. Kazandıklarından hiçbir şeyi ele geçiremezler. İşte derin sapıklık budur

Saheeh InternationalHave you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation

Yusuf AliSeest thou not that God created the heavens and the earth in Truth? If He so will, He can remove you and put (in your place) a new creation

Süleyman AteşAllah'ın, gökleri ve yeri hak(ve hikmet) ile yarattığını görmedin mi? Dilerse sizi götürür ve yepyeni bir halk getirir

Saheeh InternationalAnd that is not difficult for Allah

Yusuf AliNor is that for God any great matter

Süleyman AteşBu, Allah'a güç değildir

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape

Yusuf AliThey will all be marshalled before God together: then will the weak say to those who were arrogant, "For us, we but followed you; can ye then avail us to all against the wrath of God?" They will reply, "If we had received the Guidance of God, we should have given it to you: to us it makes no difference (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience: for ourselves there is no way of escape

Süleyman AteşHepsi Allah'ın huzurunda göründüler. Zayıflar, büyüklük taslayan(önder)ler(in)e: "Biz size tabi idik. Şimdi siz, bizden Allah'ın azabından (en ufak) bir şey savabilir misiniz?" dediler. (Büyüklük taslayanlar kendilerini ma'zur göstermek için: "Ne yapalım?") dediler: "Allah bize yol gösterseydi, biz de size yol gösterirdik. Artık biz sızlansak da, sabretsek de birdir; kaçıp sığınacak bir yerimiz yoktur

Saheeh InternationalAnd Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, "Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment

Yusuf AliAnd Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was God Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but repro ach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with God. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty

Süleyman Ateşİş bitirildikten sonra şeytan (onlara) şöyle dedi: "Allah size gerçek va'detti, ben de size va'dettim ama ben sözümden caydım! Benim sizi zorlayacak bir gücüm yoktu. Sadece sizi (küfür ve isyana) davet ettim. Siz de benim da'vetime koştunuz. O halde beni kınamayın, kendi kendinizi kınayın! Ne ben sizi kurtarabilirim, ne de siz beni kurtarabilirsiniz! Ben, önceden beni (Allah'a) ortak koşmanızı da tanımamıştım zaten. Doğrusu zalimler için acı bir azab vardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, "Peace

Yusuf AliBut those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: "Peace

Süleyman Ateşİnanıp iyi işyer yapanlar da Rablerinin izniyle sürekli kalacakları, altlarından ırmaklar akan cennetlere sokuldular. Onların orada dirlik temennileri "selam"dır

Saheeh InternationalHave you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky

Yusuf AliSeest thou not how God sets forth a parable? - A goodly word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the heavens,- of its Lord. So God sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition

Süleyman AteşGörmedin mi Allah nasıl bir benzetme yaptı: Güzel söz, kökü (yerde) sabit, dalları gökte olan güzel bir ağaç gibidir

Saheeh InternationalIt produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded

Yusuf AliIt brings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its Lord. So God sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition

Süleyman Ateş(O ağaç), Rabbinin izniyle her zaman yemişini verir. Allah, öğüt almaları için insanlara böyle benzetmeler yapar

Saheeh InternationalAnd the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability

Yusuf AliAnd the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth: it has no stability

Süleyman AteşKötü sözün durumu da gövdesi yerin üstünden koparılmış, sabit olmayan kötü bir ağaca benzer

Saheeh InternationalAllah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills

Yusuf AliGod will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but God will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: God doeth what He willeth

Süleyman AteşAllah, inananları, dünya hayatında da, ahirette de sağlam sözle tesbit eder. Allah, zalimleri de şaşırtır ve Allah, dilediğini yapar

Saheeh InternationalHave you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin

Yusuf AliHast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of God. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition

Süleyman AteşBaksana şunlara, Allah'ın ni'metini nankörlüğe çevirdiler (O'nun verdiği ni'mete şükredecekleri yerde nankörlük edip inkara saptılar), kavimlerini de helak yurduna kondurdular

Saheeh International[It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement

Yusuf AliInto Hell? They will burn therein,- an evil place to stay in

Süleyman AteşYaslanacakları cehenneme (götürdüler). Ne kötü bir duraktır o

Saheeh InternationalAnd they have attributed to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy yourselves, for indeed, your destination is the Fire

Yusuf AliAnd they set up (idols) as equal to God, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell

Süleyman AteşAllah'ın yolundan saptırmak için O'na eşler koştular. De ki: "(Şimdilik) eğlenin, gideceğiniz yer ateştir

Saheeh International[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships

Yusuf AliSpeak to my servants who have believed, that they may establish regular prayers, and spend (in charity) out of the sustenance we have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending

Süleyman Ateşİnanan kullarıma söyle: Namazı kılsınlar, ne alışverişin, ne de dostluğun olmadığı bir gün gelmeden önce, kendilerine verdiğimiz rızıktan gizli ve açık sarfetsinler

Saheeh InternationalIt is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you and subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers

Yusuf AliIt is God Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His comman d; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you

Süleyman AteşAllah O'dur ki, gökleri ve yeri yarattı, gökten su indirdi ve onunla size rızık olarak çeşitli meyvalar çıkardı. Buyruğuyla denizde akıp gitmesi için gemileri emrinize verdi, ırmakları emrinize verdi

Saheeh InternationalAnd He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day

Yusuf AliAnd He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day hath he (also) made subject to you

Süleyman AteşSürekli olarak (seyir ve aydınlatma) görevlerini yapan güneşi ve ay'ı emrinize verdi, geceyi ve gündüzü de emrinize verdi

Saheeh InternationalAnd He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful

Yusuf AliAnd He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of God, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude

Süleyman AteşVe kendisinden istediğiniz herşeyden size bir parça verdi. Eğer Allah'ın ni'metini saymak isteseniz sayamazsınız! (Doğrusu) insan çok haksızlık edendir, çok nankördür

Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols

Yusuf AliRemember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols

Süleyman AteşBir zaman İbrahim, şöyle demişti: "Rabbim, bu şehri güvenli kıl, beni ve oğullarımı putlara tapmaktan uzak tut

Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful

Yusuf AliO my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,- but Thou art indeed Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful

Süleyman AteşRabbim, onlar insanlardan birçoğunu şaşırttılar. Artık bundan böyle kim bana uyarsa o bendendir, kim bana karşı gelirse (o da senin merhametine kalmıştır), şüphesiz sen bağışlayan, esirgeyensin

Saheeh InternationalOur Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful

Yusuf AliO our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed th em with fruits: so that they may give thanks

Süleyman AteşRabbimiz, ben çocuklarımdan bazısını, senin Haram Evinin yanında, ekinsiz bir vadiye yerleştirdim. Rabbimiz, namazı kılsınlar diye (böyle yaptım). Artık sen de insanlardan birtakım gönüllüleri, onları sever yap ve onları çeşitli meyvalarla besle ki şükretsinler

Saheeh InternationalOur Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven

Yusuf AliO our Lord! truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal: for nothing whatever is hidden from God, whether on earth or in heaven

Süleyman AteşRabbimiz, sen bizim gizlediğimizi ve açığa vurduğumuzu hep bilirsin. Ne yerde, ne de gökte hiçbir şey Allah'a gizli kalmaz

Saheeh InternationalPraise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication

Yusuf AliPraise be to God, Who hath granted unto me in old age Isma'il and Isaac: for truly my Lord is He, the Hearer of Prayer

Süleyman Ateşİhtiyarlık çağımda bana İsma'il ve İshak'ı lutfeden Allah'a hamdolsun. Şüphesiz Rabbim du'ayı işiten(kabul buyuran)dır

Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication

Yusuf AliO my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer

Süleyman AteşRabbim, beni ve zürriyetimden bir kısmını namazı kılan yap; Rabbimiz, du'amı kabul buyur

Saheeh InternationalOur Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established

Yusuf AliO our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established

Süleyman AteşRabbimiz, hesabın görüleceği gün, beni, anamı-babamı ve mü'minleri bağışla

Saheeh InternationalAnd never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]

Yusuf AliThink not that God doth not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but giveth them respite against a Day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror

Süleyman AteşZalimlerin yaptığından Allah'ı gafil sanma, O, sadece onları, gözlerin dehşetten donup kalacağı bir güne ertelemektedir

Saheeh InternationalRacing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void

Yusuf AliThey running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void

Saheeh InternationalAnd, [O Muhammad], warn the people of a Day when the punishment will come to them and those who did wrong will say, "Our Lord, delay us for a short term; we will answer Your call and follow the messengers." [But it will be said], "Had you not sworn, before, that for you there would be no cessation

Yusuf AliSo warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the apostles!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline

Süleyman Ateşİnsanları, kendilerine azabın geleceği şu güne karşı uyar ki, zalimler: "Rabbimiz, derler, bizi yakın bir süreye kadar ertele de senin çağrına gelelim, elçilere uyalım! "Peki, önceden sizin için hiç zeval olmadığına (sürekli yaşayacağınıza) yemin etmemiş miydiniz

Saheeh InternationalAnd you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples

Yusuf AliAnd ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof

Süleyman Ateş(Sizden önce 'Ad ve Semud gibi) kendilerine yazık eden milletlerin yerlerinde oturmuştunuz, onlara nasıl yaptığımız, size belli olmuştu ve size benzetmeler de yapıp anlatmıştık (değil mi)

Saheeh InternationalAnd they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains

Yusuf AliMighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of God, even though they were such as to shake the hills

Süleyman AteşOnlar tuzaklarını kurdular. Oysa tuzakları dağları yerinden kaldıracak (cinsten) olsa bile onların tuzakları, Allah'ın yanındaydı (Allah onların tuzaklarını bozar, cezalarını verirdi)

Saheeh InternationalSo never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution

Yusuf AliNever think that God would fail his apostles in His promise: for God is Exalted in power, - the Lord of Retribution

Süleyman AteşSakın, Allah'ı, elçilerine verdiği sözden cayar, sanma! Çünkü Allah daima üstündür, öc alandır

Saheeh International[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing

Yusuf AliOne day the earth will be changed to a different earth, and so will be the heavens, and (men) will be marshalled forth, before God, the One, the Irresistible

Süleyman AteşO gün yer başka yere, gökler de (başka göklere) değiştirilir. (Bütün) insanlar tek ve kahredici Allah'ın huzurunda görünürler

Saheeh InternationalAnd you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles

Yusuf AliAnd thou wilt see the sinners that day bound together in fetters

Süleyman AteşVe o gün suçluları, birbirine (veya elleri ayaklarına) yaklaştırılarak zincirlere vurulmuş görürsün

Saheeh InternationalTheir garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire

Yusuf AliTheir garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire

Süleyman AteşGömlekleri katrandandır, yüzlerini de ateş kaplamaktadır

Saheeh InternationalSo that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account

Yusuf AliThat God may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily God is swift in calling to account

Süleyman AteşAllah, her canı kazandığiyle cezalandırmak için (böyle yapar). Şüphesiz Allah, hesabı çabuk görendir

Saheeh InternationalThis [Qur'an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded

Yusuf AliHere is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One God: let men of understanding take heed
