Saheeh InternationalA revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens

Yusuf AliA revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high

Saheeh InternationalThe Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established

Yusuf Ali(God) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority)

Saheeh InternationalTo Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil

Süleyman AteşGöklerde, yerde, ikisinin arasında ve toprağın altında bulunanlar hep O'nundur (ne kadar kapalı olursa olsun, O'ndan hiçbir şey gizli kalmaz)

Yusuf AliTo Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil

Saheeh InternationalAnd if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden

Süleyman AteşSözü açık söylesen de (gizli söylesen de) muhakkak O, gizliyi de ondan daha gizlisini de bilir

Yusuf AliIf thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden

Saheeh InternationalAllah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names

Yusuf AliGod! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names

Saheeh InternationalAnd has the story of Moses reached you

Saheeh InternationalWhen he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance

Süleyman AteşHani (o) bir ateş görmüştü de ailesine: "Siz durun ben bir ateş gördüm, belki ondan size bir kor getiririm, yahut ateşin yanında bir yol gösteren bulurum" demişti

Yusuf AliBehold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses

Süleyman Ateş(Musa), o(ateşin yanı)na gelince kendisine "Ey Musa!" diye seslenildi

Yusuf AliBut when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa

Süleyman AteşBen, (evet) ben senin Rabbinim! Pabuçlarını çıkar. Çünkü sen, kutsal vadide, Tuva'dasın

Yusuf AliVerily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa

Saheeh InternationalAnd I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]

Yusuf AliI have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance

Süleyman AteşMuhakkak ben, (evet) ben Allah'ım, benden başka tanrı yoktur. (Yalnız) bana kulluk et ve beni anmak için namaz kıl

Yusuf AliVerily, I am God: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives

Süleyman Ateş(Kıyamet) Sa'at(i) mutlaka gelecektir. Herkesin, peşinde koştuğu işlerle cezalanması için, neredeyse onu gizleyeceğim

Yusuf AliVerily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour

Saheeh InternationalSo do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish

Yusuf AliTherefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses

Süleyman Ateş(Musa) dedi: "O, asa'mdır. Ona dayanıyorum ve onunla davarıma yaprak silkeliyorum ve onda benim daha birçok ihtiyaçlarım var (onunla birçok ihtiyacımı gideririm)

Yusuf AliHe said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "Throw it down, O Moses

Süleyman Ateş(Allah) buyurdu; "(Yere) at onu ey Musa

Yusuf Ali(God) said, "Throw it, O Moses

Saheeh InternationalSo he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly

Yusuf AliHe threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition

Yusuf Ali(God) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition

Saheeh InternationalAnd draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign

Yusuf AliNow draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign

Saheeh InternationalThat We may show you [some] of Our greater signs

Yusuf AliIn order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs

Saheeh InternationalGo to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed

Yusuf AliGo thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast

Yusuf AliAnd remember Thee without stint

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, You are of us ever Seeing

Süleyman AteşŞüphesiz sen, bizi görmektesin

Yusuf AliFor Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses

Süleyman Ateş(Allah) buyurdu: "Ey Musa, istediğin sana verildi

Yusuf Ali(God) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had already conferred favor upon you another time

Süleyman AteşZaten biz sana bir kez daha lutufta bulunmuştuk

Yusuf AliAnd indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before)

Saheeh InternationalWhen We inspired to your mother what We inspired

Süleyman Ateş(Sen doğduğun zaman,) Annene vahyedileni vahyetmiştik

Yusuf AliBehold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message

Saheeh International[Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye

Süleyman AteşOnu sandığa koy, suya at; su onu sahile bıraksın; onu benim de düşmanım onun da düşmanı olan biri alacaktır. "Gözümün önünde yetiştirilmen için senin üzerine benden bir sevgi koydum (görenler senin üzerine koyduğum bu sevgiden ötürü sana meftun oldular)

Yusuf AliThrow (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye

Saheeh International[And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses

Süleyman AteşKızkardeşin ona bakacak birini size göstereyim mi? diyordu. Böylece seni annene geri verdik ki gözü aydın olsun, üzülmesin. Sen bir de adam öldürmüştün. O zaman da seni tasadan kurtarmış ve seni iyice denemiştik. Medyen halkı arasında yıllarca kaldın. Sonra belirlediğimiz bir vakitte bize geldin ey Musa

Yusuf AliBehold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses

Saheeh InternationalAnd I produced you for Myself

Süleyman AteşSeni kendim için yetiştirdim

Yusuf AliAnd I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)

Saheeh InternationalGo, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance

Süleyman AteşSen ve kardeşin, ayetlerimi götürün, beni anmakta gevşeklik etmeyin

Yusuf AliGo, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance

Saheeh InternationalGo, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed

Süleyman AteşFir'avn'e gidin, çünkü o azdı

Yusuf AliGo, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds

Saheeh InternationalAnd speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]

Süleyman AteşOna yumuşak söz söyleyin, belki öğüt alır veya korkar

Yusuf AliBut speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (God)

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress

Süleyman AteşDediler ki: "Rabbimiz, onun bize taşkınlık etmesinden, yahut iyice azmasından korkuyoruz

Yusuf AliThey (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see

Süleyman AteşKorkmayın, dedi, ben sizinle beraberim, işitir ve görürüm

Yusuf AliHe said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything)

Saheeh InternationalSo go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance

Süleyman AteşHaydi, varın ona, deyin ki: Biz senin Rabbinin elçileriyiz; İsrail oğullarını bizimle gönder, onlara azab etme. Biz Rabbinden sana bir ayet getirdik. Esenlik, hidayete uyanlaradır

Yusuf AliSo go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are apostles sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away

Süleyman AteşBize, yalanlayıp yüz çevirenin, azaba uğrayacağı vahyolundu

Yusuf AliVerily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): "Rabbiniz kimdir ey Musa?" dedi

Yusuf Ali(When this message was delivered), (Pharaoh) said: "Who, then, O Moses, is the Lord of you two

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Rabbimiz, her şeye yaratılışını (varlığını ve biçimini) verip sonra onu doğru yola ileten (yaratılış gayesine uygun yola yönelten)dir." dedi

Yusuf AliHe said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): "Peki ya ilk nesillerin hali ne olacak?" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets

Süleyman AteşDedi ki: "Onların bilgisi Rabbimin yanında bir Kitaptadır. Rabbim şaşmaz ve unutmaz

Yusuf AliHe replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets

Saheeh International[It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants

Süleyman AteşO ki, yeri size beşik yaptı ve onda sizin için yollar açtı, gökten bir su indirdi. Onunla her çeşit bitkiden çiftler çıkardık

Yusuf AliHe Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others

Saheeh InternationalEat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence

Süleyman AteşYeyin, hayvanlarınızı otlatın. Şüphesiz bunda, akıl sahipleri için ibretler vardır

Yusuf AliEat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding

Saheeh InternationalFrom the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time

Süleyman AteşSizi topraktan yarattık, yine oraya döndürürüz ve sizi bir kez daha ondan çıkarırız

Yusuf AliFrom the (earth) did We create you, and into it shall We return you, and from it shall We bring you out once again

Saheeh InternationalAnd We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused

Süleyman AteşAndolsun biz o(Fir'av)n'a ayetlerimizin hepsini gösterdik, yine de yalanladı ve dayattı

Yusuf AliAnd We showed Pharaoh all Our Signs, but he did reject and refuse

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses

Süleyman AteşVe: "Sen bizi büyünle yurdumuzdan çıkarasın diye mi geldin ey Musa?" dedi

Yusuf AliHe said: "Hast thou come to drive us out of our land with thy magic, O Moses

Saheeh InternationalThen we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned

Süleyman AteşBiz de mutlaka sana o(se)nin (büyün) gibi bir büyü getireceğiz. Sen şimdi seninle bizim aramızda bir buluşma zamanı ve yeri tayin et; ne senin, ne de bizim caymayacağımız uygun bir yer olsun

Yusuf AliBut we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Buluşma zamanınız, Süs (bayram) günü ve insanaların toplanacağı kuşluk vakti olsun" dedi

Yusuf AliMoses said: "Your tryst is the Day of the Festival, and let the people be assembled when the sun is well up

Saheeh InternationalSo Pharaoh went away, put together his plan, and then came [to Moses]

Süleyman AteşFir'avn, dönüp gitti, hilesini (büyücüleri ve onların aletlerini) topladı, sonra (belirtilen yere) geldi

Yusuf AliSo Pharaoh withdrew: He concerted his plan, and then came (back)

Saheeh InternationalMoses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]

Süleyman AteşMusa onlara: "Yazık size, dedi, Allah'a yalan uydurmayın, sonra (O), bir azab ile kökünüzü keser, doğrusu iftira eden perişan olmuştur

Yusuf AliMoses said to him: Woe to you! Forge not ye a lie against God, lest He destroy you (at once) utterly by chastisement: the forger must suffer frustration

Saheeh InternationalSo they disputed over their affair among themselves and concealed their private conversation

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn'ın topladığı büyücüler), işlerini kendi aralarında tartıştılar ve gizli konuştular

Yusuf AliSo they disputed, one with another, over their affair, but they kept their talk secret

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way

Yusuf AliThey said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions

Saheeh InternationalSo resolve upon your plan and then come [forward] in line. And he has succeeded today who overcomes

Süleyman AteşOnun için siz hilenizi toplayın, sonra sıra halinde gelin. Bugün üstün gelen başarmıştır

Yusuf AliTherefore concert your plan, and then assemble in (serried) ranks: He wins (all along) today who gains the upper hand

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "O Moses, either you throw or we will be the first to throw

Yusuf AliThey said: "O Moses! whether wilt thou that thou throw (first) or that we be the first to throw

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Rather, you throw." And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes]

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Hayır siz atın!" dedi. (Attılar. Musa) bir de ne görsün: Büyülerinden ötürü onların ipleri ve sopaları gerçekten koşuyor gibi görünüyor

Yusuf AliHe said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion

Saheeh InternationalAnd he sensed within himself apprehension, did Moses

Yusuf AliSo Moses conceived in his mind a (sort of) fear

Saheeh InternationalAllah said, "Fear not. Indeed, it is you who are superior

Yusuf AliWe said: "Fear not! for thou hast indeed the upper hand

Saheeh InternationalAnd throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is

Süleyman AteşSağ elindekini at! Onların yaptıklarını yutsun. Çünkü onların yaptıkları, bir büyücünün hilesidir. Büyücü de nereye varsa iflah olmaz

Yusuf AliThrow that which is in thy right hand: Quickly will it swallow up that which they have faked what they have faked is but a magician's trick: and the magician thrives not, (no matter) where he goes

Saheeh InternationalSo the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses

Süleyman AteşBunun üzerine büyücüler secdeye kapandılar: "Harun'un ve Musa'nın Rabbine inandık!" dediler

Yusuf AliSo the magicians were thrown down to prostration: they said, "We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): "Ben size izin vermeden ona inandınız ha? O, size büyü öğreten büyüğünüzdür. Öyleyse ben de sizin ellerinizi ve ayaklarınızı çapraz keseceğim ve sizi hurma dallarına asacağım, hangimizin azabı daha çetin ve sürekli imiş bileceksiniz!" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this must be your leader, who has taught you magic! be sure I will cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will have you crucified on trunks of palm-trees: so shall ye know for certain, which of us can give the more severe and the more lasting punishment

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life

Süleyman AteşDediler ki: "Biz, seni, bize gelen açık delillere ve bizi yaratana tercih edemeyiz. Yapacağını yap, sen ancak bu dünya hayatında istediğini yapabilirsin

Yusuf AliThey said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Sings that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allah is better and more enduring

Süleyman AteşBiz Rabbimize inandık ki (O) bizim günahlarımızı ve senin bizi yapmaya zorladığın büyüyü bağışlasın. (Elbette) Allah daha hayırlı ve (O'nun mükafatı ve cezası) daha süreklidir

Yusuf AliFor us, we have believed in our Lord: may He forgive us our faults, and the magic to which thou didst compel us: for God is Best and Most Abiding

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal - indeed, for him is Hell; he will neither die therein nor live

Süleyman AteşKim Rabbine suçlu olarak gelirse onun için cehennem vardır; orada ne ölür ne de yaşar

Yusuf AliVerily he who comes to his Lord as a sinner (at Judgment),- for him is Hell: therein shall he neither die nor live

Saheeh InternationalBut whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds - for those will be the highest degrees [in position]

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]

Süleyman AteşAndolsun biz Musa'ya: "Kullarımı geceleyin (Mısır'dan çıkarıp) yürüt; (asanla suya) vur, denizde onlar için kuru bir yol (aç). (Fir'avn'ın sana) yetişme(sin)den korkma, (boğulmaktan) endişe etme." diye vahyetmiştik

Yusuf AliWe sent an inspiration to Moses: "Travel by night with My servants, and strike a dry path for them through the sea, without fear of being overtaken (by Pharaoh) and without (any other) fear

Saheeh InternationalSo Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them

Süleyman AteşFir'avn, askerleriyle onların ardına düştü, denizden onları örten örttü (deniz onları örtüp boğdu)

Yusuf AliThen Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up

Saheeh InternationalAnd Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them]

Yusuf AliO ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails

Saheeh International[Saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you and do not transgress [or oppress others] therein, lest My anger should descend upon you. And he upon whom My anger descends has certainly fallen

Süleyman AteşSize verdiğimiz rızkın temizlerinden yeyin, ama bu hususta taşkınlık etmeyin; sonra gazabım üzerinize iner, kimin üstüne gazabım inerse o, düşmüş(mahvolmuş)tur

Saheeh InternationalBut indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance

Yusuf AliBut, without doubt, I am (also) He that forgives again and again, to those who repent, believe, and do right, who,- in fine, are ready to receive true guidance

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses

Süleyman AteşSeni kavminden çabucak ayrıl(ıp gel)meğe sevk eden nedir? (Niçin onları hemen bırakıp geldin) ey Musa? (dedik)

Yusuf Ali(When Moses was up on the Mount, God said:) "What made thee hasten in advance of thy people, O Moses

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased

Süleyman AteşDedi: "Onlar benim arkamdan geliyorlar, ya Rabbi razı olman için sana çabuk geldim

Yusuf AliHe replied: "Behold, they are close on my footsteps: I hastened to thee, O my Lord, to please thee

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray

Süleyman Ateş(Allah): "Ama biz senden sonra kavmini sınadık. Samiri onları saptırdı" dedi

Yusuf Ali(God) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray

Saheeh InternationalSo Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me

Süleyman AteşBunun üzerine Musa, çok kızgın ve üzüntülü bir halde kavmine döndü: "Ey Kavmim, dedi, Rabbiniz size güzel bir va'idde bulunmamış mıydı? Süre mi size uzun geldi (zamanla verdiğiniz sözü unuttunuz mu)? Yoksa Rabbinizden bir gazabın üstünüze inmesini mi istediniz ki, bana verdiğiniz sözden caydınız (beni izlemediniz)

Yusuf AliSo Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from y our Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "We did not break our promise to you by our will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Samiri throw

Süleyman AteşDediler ki: "Kendi malımızla senin sözünden çıkmadık", fakat o milletin (yani Mısırlıların) süs(eşyas)ından bize yükler yükletilmişti. Onları (ateşe) attık. Aynı şekilde Samiri de attı

Yusuf AliThey said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested

Saheeh InternationalAnd he extracted for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, and they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot

Yusuf AliThen he brought out (of the fire) before the (people) the image of a calf: It seemed to low: so they said: This is your god, and the god of Moses, but (Moses) has forgotten

Saheeh InternationalDid they not see that it could not return to them any speech and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit

Süleyman AteşOnlar görmüyorlar mı ki o (buzağı) kendilerine bir söz söyleyemez; bir zarar, ve yarar veremez

Yusuf AliCould they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power either to harm them or to do them good

Saheeh InternationalAnd Aaron had already told them before [the return of Moses], "O my people, you are only being tested by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Most Merciful, so follow me and obey my order

Süleyman AteşÖnceden Harun, kendilerine: "Ey kavmim, andolsun siz bununla sınandınız. Rabbiniz, o çok esirgeyendir. Bana uyun, buyruğuma ita'at edin!" demişti

Yusuf AliAaron had already, before this said to them: "O my people! ye are being tested in this: for verily your Lord is (God) Most Gracious; so follow me and obey my command

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "We will never cease being devoted to the calf until Moses returns to us

Süleyman AteşDediler: "Musa bize dönünceye kadar buna tapmaktan vazgeçmeyeceğiz

Yusuf AliThey had said: "We will not abandon this cult, but we will devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "O Aaron, what prevented you, when you saw them going astray

Süleyman Ateş(Musa) "Ey Harun, oların saptıklarını gördüğün zaman sana ne engel oldu (da önlemedin)? dedi

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong

Saheeh InternationalFrom following me? Then have you disobeyed my order

Süleyman AteşNeden bana uymadın, buyruğuma karşı mı geldin? (Ve kardeşinin sakalından tutup çekmeğe başladı)

Yusuf AliFrom following me? Didst thou then disobey my order

Saheeh International[Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, do not seize [me] by my beard or by my head. Indeed, I feared that you would say, 'You caused division among the Children of Israel, and you did not observe [or await] my word

Süleyman Ateş(Harun, kardeşini yumuşatabilmek için): "Ey anamın oğlu, dedi, sakalımı, başımı tutma. Ben senin 'İsrail oğulları arasında ayrılık çıkardın, sözümü tutmadın' diyeceğinden korktum (da onun için idare yoluna gittim)

Yusuf Ali(Aaron) replied: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard nor by (the hair of) my head! Truly I feared lest thou shouldst say, 'Thou has caused a division among the children of Israel, and thou didst not respect my word

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "And what is your case, O Samiri

Süleyman Ateş(Musa, Samiri'ye döndü): "Ey Samiri, ya senin amacın nedir?" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "What then is thy case, O Samiri

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful [of dust] from the track of the messenger and threw it, and thus did my soul entice me

Süleyman Ateş(Samiri): "Ben dedi, onların görmediklerini gördüm. Elçinin eserinden bir avuç aldım da attım; nefsim bana böyle (yapmayı) hoş gösterdi

Yusuf AliHe replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Apostle, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "Then go. And indeed, it is [decreed] for you in [this] life to say, 'No contact.' And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your 'god' to which you remained devoted. We will surely burn it and blow it into the sea with a blast

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Git, dedi. Artık hayat boyunca sen: 'Bana dokunmayın!' diyeceksin (toplumdan refüze edilip yalnız başına kalacaksın), sana va'dedilen bir ceza var ki ondan asla şaşırılmayacaksın (mutlaka o cezanı tam zamanında bulacaksın). Şimdi durup taptığın tanrına bak. Biz onu yakacağız, sonra onu ufalayıp denize savuracağız

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted wor shipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea

Saheeh InternationalYour god is only Allah, except for whom there is no deity. He has encompassed all things in knowledge

Süleyman AteşTanrınız ancak kendisinden başka tanrı olmayan Allah'tır. O'nun bilgisi her şeyi kuşatmıştır

Yusuf AliBut the god of you all is the One God: there is no god but He: all things He comprehends in His knowledge

Saheeh InternationalThus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an

Süleyman AteşBöylece sana geçmişlerin haberlerinden bir miktar anlatıyoruz. Gerçekten sana katımızdan bir Zikir (geçmiş olaylardan bir anı) verdik

Yusuf AliThus do We relate to thee some stories of what happened before: for We have sent thee a Message from Our own Presence

Saheeh InternationalWhoever turns away from it - then indeed, he will bear on the Day of Resurrection a burden

Yusuf AliIf any do turn away therefrom, verily they will bear a burden on the Day of judgment

Saheeh International[Abiding] eternally therein, and evil it is for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load

Yusuf AliThey will abide in this (state): and grievous will the burden be to them on that Day

Saheeh InternationalThe Day the Horn will be blown. And We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed

Yusuf AliIn whispers will they consult each other: "Yet tarried not longer than ten (Days)

Saheeh InternationalAnd they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast

Yusuf AliThey ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust

Saheeh InternationalAnd He will leave the earth a level plain

Yusuf AliHe will leave them as plains smooth and level

Saheeh InternationalYou will not see therein a depression or an elevation

Süleyman AteşOrada ne bir eğrilik, ne de bir tümsek görmeyeceksin

Yusuf AliNothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place

Saheeh InternationalThat Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]

Süleyman AteşO gün hiç pürüzü olmayan çağrıcıya uyarlar; (ondan sapma imkanı yoktur). Rahman'ın huzurunda sesler kısılır, fısıltıdan başka bir şey işitemezsin

Yusuf AliOn that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (God) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march)

Saheeh InternationalThat Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word

Süleyman AteşO gün Rahman'ın izin verip sözünden hoşlandığı kimseden başkasının şefa'ati fayda vermez

Yusuf AliOn that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (God) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him

Saheeh InternationalAllah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge

Süleyman AteşO, onların önlerindekini ve arkalarındakini (geçmişlerini ve geleceklerini) bilir; onlar ise bilgice O'nu kavrayamazlar

Yusuf AliHe knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge

Saheeh InternationalAnd [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice

Süleyman AteşBütün yüzler, o diri ve yöneticiye boyun eğmiştir. Zulüm yüklenen perişan olmuştur

Yusuf Ali(All) faces shall be humbled before (Him) - the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal: hopeless indeed will be the man that carries iniquity (on his back)

Saheeh InternationalBut he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation

Süleyman AteşKim inanarak iyi olan işlerden yaparsa artık o, ne zulümden, ne de hakkının çiğnenmesinden korkar

Yusuf AliBut he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due)

Saheeh InternationalAnd thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance

Süleyman AteşBiz sana onu böyle Arapça bir Kur'an olarak indirdik ve onda tehditleri türlü biçimlere çevirip açıkladık ki korunsunlar. Yahut (Kur'an,) onlara bir hatırlama yaptırsın

Yusuf AliThus have We sent this down - an arabic Qur'an - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear God, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him)

Saheeh InternationalSo high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge

Süleyman AteşGerçek hükümdar olan Allah, yücedir. Sana vahyedilmesi henüz tamamlanmadan Kur'an'ı acele okumağa kalkma; "Rabbim, ilmimi artır!" de

Yusuf AliHigh above all is God, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had already taken a promise from Adam before, but he forgot; and We found not in him determination

Süleyman AteşAndolsun biz, önceden Adem'e (o ağaçtan yememesini) emretmiştik, unuttu. Biz onda bir azim (ve sebat) bulmadık

Yusuf AliWe had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve

Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused

Süleyman AteşMeleklere: "Adem'e secede edin," demiştik, secde ettiler, yalnız İblis diretti

Yusuf AliWhen We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", they prostrated themselves, but not Iblis: he refused

Saheeh InternationalSo We said, "O Adam, indeed this is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise so you would suffer

Süleyman AteşDedik ki: "Ey Adem, bu, senin ve eşinin düşmanıdır. Sakın, sizi cennetten çıkarmasın, sonra yorulursun

Yusuf AliThen We said: "O Adam! verily, this is an enemy to thee and thy wife: so let him not get you both out of the Garden, so that thou art landed in misery

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is [promised] for you not to be hungry therein or be unclothed

Süleyman AteşŞimdi burada acıkmayacaksın, çıplak kalmayacaksını

Yusuf AliThere is therein (enough provision) for thee not to go hungry nor to go naked

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, you will not be thirsty therein or be hot from the sun

Süleyman AteşVe sen susamayacaksın, kuşluk vakti güneşi(nin ısısı)ndan etkilenmeyeceksin

Yusuf AliNor to suffer from thirst, nor from the sun's heat

Saheeh InternationalThen Satan whispered to him; he said, "O Adam, shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and possession that will not deteriorate

Süleyman AteşNihayet şeytan ona fısıldayıp: "Ey Adem, sana ebedilik ağacını ve yok olmayacak bir hükümranlığı göstereyim mi? dedi

Yusuf AliBut Satan whispered evil to him: he said, "O Adam! shall I lead thee to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that never decays

Saheeh InternationalAnd Adam and his wife ate of it, and their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred

Süleyman AteşO ağaçtan yediler. Böylece kendilerine kötü yerleri göründü (üreme organları ortaya çıktı). Üstlerini cennet yaprağıyle örtmeğe başladılar. Adem Rabbinin buyruğuna karşı geldi de şaşırdı

Yusuf AliIn the result, they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to them: they began to sew together, for their covering, leaves from the Garden: thus did Adam disobey his Lord, and allow himself to be seduced

Saheeh InternationalThen his Lord chose him and turned to him in forgiveness and guided [him]

Süleyman AteşSonra Rabbi onu seçti, tevbesini kabul etti, doğru yola iletti

Yusuf AliBut his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him, and gave him Guidance

Saheeh International[Allah] said, "Descend from Paradise - all, [your descendants] being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]

Süleyman AteşDedi ki: "Hepiniz oradan inin, birbirinize düşmansınız. İmdi benden size bir hidayet geldiği zaman kim benim hidayetime uyarsa o, sapmaz ve sıkıntıya düşmez

Yusuf AliHe said: "Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery

Saheeh InternationalAnd whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind

Süleyman AteşAma kim beni anmaktan yüz çevirirse, onun için de dar bir geçim var. Kıyamet günü onu kör olarak (yüce Divana) süreriz

Yusuf AliBut whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing

Süleyman AteşRabbim der, niçin beni kör sürdün, oysa ben görür idim

Yusuf AliHe will say: "O my Lord! why hast Thou raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)

Saheeh International[Allah] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten

Süleyman Ateş(Allah) buyurur ki: "Nasıl sana ayetlerimiz geldiği zaman, sen onları unuttuysan, bugün de sen öyle unutulursun

Yusuf Ali(God) will say: "Thus didst Thou, when Our Signs came unto thee, disregard them: so wilt thou, this day, be disregarded

Saheeh InternationalAnd thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring

Süleyman Ateşİşte israf eden ve Rabbinin ayetlerine inanmayanları böyle cezalandırırız. Elbette ahiretin azabı daha çetin ve daha süreklidir

Yusuf AliAnd thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Sings of his Lord: and the Penalty of the Hereafter is far more grievous and more enduring

Saheeh InternationalThen, has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them as they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs for those of intelligence

Süleyman Ateş(Bugün) meskenlerinde dolaştıkları, kendilerinden önce yaşamış nice nesilleri yok edişimiz onları hala yola getirmedi mi? Elbette bunda akıl sahipleri için ibretler vardır

Yusuf AliIs it not a warning to such men (to call to mind) how many generations before them We destroyed, in whose haunts they (now) move? Verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding

Saheeh InternationalAnd if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [due immediately], and [if not for] a specified term [decreed]

Süleyman AteşEğer Rabbin tarafından söylenmiş bir söz ve belirtilmiş bir süre olmasaydı. (bunların da hemen helak edilmeleri) gerekli olurdu

Yusuf AliHad it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (their punishment) must necessarily have come; but there is a Term appointed (for respite)

Saheeh InternationalSo be patient over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied

Süleyman AteşOnların dediklerine sabret, güneşin doğmasından ve batmasından önce Rabbini överek tesbih et; gece sa'atlerinden bir kısmında ve gündüzün taraflarında da tesbih et ki memnun olasın

Yusuf AliTherefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou ma yest have (spiritual) joy

Saheeh InternationalAnd do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring
