Yusuf AliIt may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers

Saheeh InternationalPerhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers

Süleyman AteşHerhalde sen, inanmıyorlar diye neredeyse kendini helak edeceksin

Yusuf AliIf (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility

Saheeh InternationalIf We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled

Süleyman AteşDilesek onların üzerine gökten bir mu'cize indiririz de boyunları ona eğilir (inanırlar)

Yusuf AliBut there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (God) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom

Saheeh InternationalAnd no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it

Yusuf AliThey have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at

Yusuf AliDo they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein

Yusuf AliVerily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe

Saheeh InternationalIndeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

Yusuf AliAnd verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful

Yusuf AliBehold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity

Saheeh InternationalAnd [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people

Yusuf AliThe people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear God

Saheeh InternationalThe people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah

Yusuf AliHe said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me

Yusuf AliMy breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron

Yusuf AliAnd (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me

Yusuf AliSend thou with us the Children of Israel

Saheeh International[Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life

Süleyman Ateş(Gittiler, Allah'ın emrini duyurdular. Fir'avn) Dedi ki: "Biz seni, içimizden bir çocuk olarak yetiştirmedik mi? Ömründe nice yıllar aramızda kalmadın mı

Yusuf AliAnd thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)

Saheeh InternationalAnd [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful

Yusuf AliMoses said: "I did it then, when I was in error

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray

Yusuf AliSo I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the apostles

Saheeh InternationalSo I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers

Süleyman AteşSizden korkunca aranızdan kaçtım, sonra Rabbim bana hükümdarlık verdi ve beni elçilerden yaptı

Yusuf AliAnd this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel

Saheeh InternationalAnd is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Göklerin, yerin ve ikisi arasında bulunan her şeyin Rabbidir. Eğer gerçekten inanan kimseler iseniz (bunu anlarsınız)," dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): Çevresinde bulunanlara: "İşitiyor musunuz?" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "O sizin de Rabbiniz, önceki atalarınızın da Rabbidir" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "Truly your apostle who has been sent to you is a veritable madman

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): "Size gönderilen bu elçiniz mutlaka delidir" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason

Süleyman Ateş(Musa): "Eğer düşünürseniz O, doğunun batının ve bunlar arasında bulunanların da Rabbidir" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn ey Musa): "Andolsun ki benden başka tanrı edinirsen, seni mutlaka zindana atılanlardan yapacağım" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing

Saheeh International[Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest

Süleyman Ateş(Musa, peki): "Sana (doğruluğumu) kanıtlayan apaçık bir şey getirmiş olsam da mı?" dedi

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn): "Eğer doğrulardansan onu getir (bakalım)," dedi

Yusuf AliSo (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)

Saheeh InternationalSo [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest

Yusuf AliAnd he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders

Saheeh InternationalAnd he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers

Yusuf Ali(Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well- versed

Yusuf AliThey said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while), and dispatch to the Cities heralds to collect

Yusuf AliAnd bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed

Saheeh InternationalWho will bring you every learned, skilled magician

Yusuf AliSo the sorcerers were got together for the appointment of a day well-known

Saheeh InternationalSo the magicians were assembled for the appointment of a well-known day

Yusuf AliAnd the people were told: "Are ye (now) assembled

Saheeh InternationalAnd it was said to the people, "Will you congregate

Yusuf AliThat we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win

Saheeh InternationalThat we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant

Yusuf AliSo when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win

Saheeh InternationalAnd when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant

Yusuf AliHe said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]

Süleyman AteşEvet dedi, hem o takdirde siz (bana) yakınlardan olacaksınız

Yusuf AliMoses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw

Saheeh InternationalMoses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw

Süleyman AteşMusa onlara: "Atacağınızı atın!" dedi

Yusuf AliSo they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win

Saheeh InternationalSo they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant

Yusuf AliThen Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake

Yusuf AliSaid (Pharaoh): "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall ye know! Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross

Saheeh International[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all

Süleyman Ateş(Fir'avn) dedi: "Ben size izin vermeden mi ona inandınız? O, size büyü öğreten büyüğünüzdür. Öyleyse (size ne yapacağımı) yakında bileceksiniz: Ellerinizi ve ayaklarınızı çapraz olarak keseceğim ve hepinizi asacağım

Yusuf AliThey said: "No matter! for us, we shall but return to our Lord

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return

Süleyman AteşZararı yok, dediler, (nasıl olsa) biz Rabbimize döneceğiz

Yusuf AliOnly, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers

Yusuf AliBy inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued

Saheeh InternationalAnd We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued

Yusuf AliThen Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities

Saheeh InternationalThen Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers

Yusuf Ali(Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band

Saheeh International[And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band

Süleyman AteşŞunlar, (şu İsrail oğulları), az bir topluluktur dedi

Yusuf AliAnd they are raging furiously against us

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they are enraging us

Süleyman AteşBizi kızdırmaktadırlar

Yusuf AliBut we are a multitude amply fore-warned

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are a cautious society

Yusuf AliSo We expelled them from gardens, springs

Saheeh InternationalSo We removed them from gardens and springs

Yusuf AliThen We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain

Saheeh InternationalThen We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain

Süleyman AteşMusa'ya: "Değneğinle denize vur!" diye vahyettik. (Vurunca deniz) yarıldı, (on iki yol açıldı). Her bölüm, kocaman bir dağ gibi oldu

Yusuf AliAnd We made the other party approach thither

Saheeh InternationalAnd We advanced thereto the pursuers

Yusuf AliWe delivered Moses and all who were with him

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted

Yusuf AliHe said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate

Saheeh InternationalOr do they benefit you, or do they harm

Yusuf AliThey said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "But we found our fathers doing thus

Yusuf AliHe said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping

Yusuf AliTo the righteous, the Garden will be brought near

Saheeh InternationalAnd Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous

Süleyman Ateş(O gün) cennet, korunanlara yaklaştırılır

Yusuf AliAnd to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view

Saheeh InternationalAnd Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators

Yusuf AliThen they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil

Saheeh InternationalSo they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators

Yusuf AliAnd the whole hosts of Iblis together

Saheeh InternationalAnd the soldiers of Iblees, all together

Yusuf AliThey will say there in their mutual bickerings

Yusuf AliBy God, we were truly in an error manifest

Saheeh InternationalBy Allah, we were indeed in manifest error

Süleyman AteşVallahi biz apaçık bir sapıklık içinde imişiz

Yusuf AliWhen we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds

Saheeh InternationalWhen we equated you with the Lord of the worlds

Süleyman AteşÇünkü sizi alemlerin Rabbine eşit tutuyorduk

Yusuf AliAnd our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt

Saheeh InternationalAnd no one misguided us except the criminals

Süleyman AteşAma bizi saptıran o suçlulardır

Yusuf AliNow, then, we have none to intercede (for us)

Saheeh InternationalSo now we have no intercessors

Süleyman AteşŞimdi artık bizim ne şefa'atçilerimiz var

Yusuf AliNor a single friend to feel (for us)

Saheeh InternationalAnd not a devoted friend

Yusuf AliTheir account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand

Saheeh InternationalTheir account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive

Yusuf AliAnd do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)

Saheeh InternationalAnd take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally

Süleyman AteşBelki ebedi yaşarsınız diye köşkler (ve müstahkem kaleler) ediniyorsunuz

Yusuf AliAnd when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of absolute power

Saheeh InternationalAnd when you strike, you strike as tyrants

Saheeh InternationalAnd they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers

Yusuf AliAnd ye carve houses out of (rocky) mountains with great skill

Saheeh InternationalAnd you carve out of the mountains, homes, with skill

Yusuf AliBut fear God and obey me

Saheeh InternationalSo fear Allah and obey me

Yusuf AliAnd follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant

Saheeh InternationalAnd do not obey the order of the transgressors

Süleyman AteşO aşırıların emrine uymayın

Yusuf AliWho make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)

Saheeh InternationalWho cause corruption in the land and do not amend

Süleyman AteşYeryüzünde bozgunculuk yapan, ıslah etmeyen o kimseler(in sözüyle hareket etmeyin)

Yusuf AliThey said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "You are only of those affected by magic

Süleyman AteşDediler: Sen, iyice büyülenmişlerdensin

Yusuf AliThou art no more than a mortal like us: then bring us a Sign, if thou tellest the truth

Saheeh InternationalYou are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful

Yusuf AliHe said: "Here is a she-camel: she has a right of watering, and ye have a right of watering, (severally) on a day appointed

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "This is a she-camel. For her is a [time of] drink, and for you is a [time of] drink, [each] on a known day

Yusuf AliTouch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you

Saheeh InternationalAnd do not touch her with harm, lest you be seized by the punishment of a terrible day

Yusuf AliAnd leave those whom God has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)

Saheeh InternationalAnd leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing

Süleyman AteşVe Rabbinizin sizin için yarattığı eşlerinizi bırakıyorsunuz? Siz sınırı aşan bir kavimsiniz

Yusuf AliThey said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted

Saheeh InternationalAnd weigh with an even balance

Yusuf AliAnd withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief

Saheeh InternationalAnd do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption

Yusuf AliAnd fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)

Yusuf AliHe said: "My Lord knows best what ye do

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do

Yusuf AliBut they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day

Saheeh InternationalAnd they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day

Süleyman AteşOnu yalanladılar, nihayet o gölge gününün azabı, kendilerini yakaladı. Gerçekten o, büyük bir günün azabı idi

Yusuf AliHad We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs

Saheeh InternationalAnd even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners

Yusuf AliAnd had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it

Saheeh InternationalAnd he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it

Yusuf AliThus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners

Saheeh InternationalThus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals

Süleyman AteşBiz onu, suçluların kalblerine öyle soktuk

Yusuf AliThey will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty

Saheeh InternationalThey will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment

Süleyman AteşAcı azabı görünceye kadar da ona inanmazlar

Yusuf AliBut the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not

Saheeh InternationalAnd it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not

Süleyman AteşAzab onlara öyle ansızın gelir ki, onlar hiç farkında olmazlar

Yusuf AliThen they will say: "Shall we be respited

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will say, "May we be reprieved

Süleyman Ateş(Birden onu karşılarında bulunca) Acaba bize süre verilir mi?" derler

Yusuf AliDo they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on

Saheeh InternationalSo for Our punishment are they impatient

Süleyman AteşHala bizim azabımızı mı acele istiyorlar (doğru söyleyenlerden isen bizi tehdidettiğin azabı getir mi diyorlar)

Yusuf AliSeest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years

Saheeh InternationalThen have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years

Süleyman AteşBaksana, biz onları yıllarca yaşatsak

Yusuf AliYet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised

Saheeh InternationalAnd then there came to them that which they were promised

Süleyman AteşSonra tehdidedildikleri (azab) kendilerine gelse

Yusuf AliIt will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)

Saheeh InternationalThey would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided

Süleyman AteşO yaşatıldıkları (zevk-u sefa sürdükleri) şeyler, kendilerine ne yarar sağlardı

Yusuf AliNever did We destroy a population, but had its warners

Saheeh InternationalAnd We did not destroy any city except that it had warners

Süleyman AteşBiz, hiçbir kenti helak etmedik ki onun uyarıcıları olmasın (helak etmeden önce mutlaka uyarıcı gönderdik)

Yusuf AliBy way of reminder; and We never are unjust

Saheeh InternationalAs a reminder; and never have We been unjust

Yusuf AliNo evil ones have brought down this (Revelation)

Saheeh InternationalAnd the devils have not brought the revelation down

Süleyman AteşO(Kur'a)n'ı şeytanlar (cinler) indirmedi

Yusuf AliIt would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it)

Saheeh InternationalIt is not allowable for them, nor would they be able

Süleyman AteşBu, onlara yaraşmaz ve zaten yapamazlar da

Yusuf AliIndeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it

Saheeh InternationalIndeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed

Süleyman AteşÇünkü onlar, (meleklerin sözlerini) işitmekten uzaklaştırılmışlardır

Yusuf AliSo call not on any other god with God, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty

Saheeh InternationalSo do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished

Süleyman AteşAllah ile beraber başka bir tanrı çağırma, sonra azabedilenlerden olursun

Yusuf AliAnd admonish thy nearest kinsmen

Saheeh InternationalAnd warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred

Süleyman AteşEn yakın akrabanı uyar

Yusuf AliAnd lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee

Saheeh InternationalAnd lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers

Süleyman AteşVe sana uyan mü'minlere kanadını indir (onlara karşı mütevazi ve şefkatli davran)

Yusuf AliThen if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do

Saheeh InternationalAnd if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing

Yusuf AliAnd put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

Saheeh InternationalAnd rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful

Yusuf AliWho seeth thee standing forth (in prayer)

Saheeh InternationalWho sees you when you arise

Süleyman AteşO, seni görür: Namaza durduğun zaman

Yusuf AliAnd thy movements among those who prostrate themselves

Saheeh InternationalAnd your movement among those who prostrate

Süleyman AteşVe secde edenler arasında eğilip doğrulurken

Yusuf AliFor it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing

Süleyman AteşÇünkü O, işitendir, bilendir

Yusuf AliShall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend

Saheeh InternationalShall I inform you upon whom the devils descend

Süleyman AteşŞeytanların kime ineceğini size haber vereyim mi

Yusuf AliThey descend on every lying, wicked person

Saheeh InternationalThey descend upon every sinful liar

Süleyman AteşOnlar, her günahkar yalancıya inerler

Yusuf Ali(Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars

Saheeh InternationalThey pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars

Süleyman AteşO yalancılar, (şeytanlara) kulak verirler, çokları da yalan söylerler

Yusuf AliAnd the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them

Saheeh InternationalAnd the poets - [only] the deviators follow them

Süleyman AteşŞa'irlere gelince onlara da azgınlar uyar

Yusuf AliSeest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley

Saheeh InternationalDo you not see that in every valley they roam

Süleyman AteşBaksana onlar, her vadide şaşkın şaşkın dolaşırlar

Yusuf AliAnd that they say what they practise not

Saheeh InternationalAnd that they say what they do not do

Süleyman AteşVe onlar yapmayacakları şeyleri söylerler

Yusuf AliExcept those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of God, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take

Saheeh InternationalExcept those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned

Süleyman AteşAncak inananlar, iyi işler yapanlar, Allah'ı çok ananlar ve kendilerine zulmedildikten sonra (rakiplerine) üstün gelmeğe çalışanlar böyle değildir. Zulmedenler, yakında nasıl bir devrime uğrayıp devrileceklerini bileceklerdir
