37:1
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفࣰّ ا
وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ
andolsun
صَفًّۭا
sıra sıra dizilenlere

Yusuf AliBy those who range themselves in ranks

37:2
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرࣰ ا
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ
ve sürenlere
زَجْرًۭا
bağırıp

Yusuf AliAnd so are strong in repelling (evil)

37:3
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَـٰتِ
ve okuyanlara
ذِكْرًا
zikir

Yusuf AliAnd thus proclaim the Message (of God)

37:4
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدࣱ‏
إِنَّ
şüphesiz
إِلَـٰهَكُمْ
Tanrınız
لَوَٰحِدٌۭ
elbette birdir

Yusuf AliVerily, verily, your God is one

37:5
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ
رَّبُّ
Rabbidir
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
göklerin
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
ve yerin
وَمَا
ve ne varsa
بَيْنَهُمَا
bunlar arasında
وَرَبُّ
ve Rabbidir
ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ
doğuların

Yusuf AliLord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun

37:6 📚 2
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ
إِنَّا
elbette biz
زَيَّنَّا
süsledik
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
semasını
ٱلدُّنْيَا
dünya
بِزِينَةٍ
bir zinetle
ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ
yıldızlarla

Yusuf AliWe have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars

37:7
وَحِفۡظࣰ ا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنࣲ مَّارِدࣲ‏
وَحِفْظًۭا
ve (onu) koruduk
مِّن
karşı
كُلِّ
her türlü
شَيْطَـٰنٍۢ
şeytana
مَّارِدٍۢ
ita'at dışına çıkan

Yusuf Ali(For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits

37:8 📚 1
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبࣲ‏
لَّا
dinleyemezler
يَسَّمَّعُونَ
they may listen
إِلَى
melekleri
ٱلْمَلَإِ
the assembly
ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
yüce
وَيُقْذَفُونَ
ve taşlanırlar
مِن
her
كُلِّ
every
جَانِبٍۢ
yandan

Yusuf Ali(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side

37:9
دُحُورࣰ اۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ وَاصِبٌ
دُحُورًۭا ۖ
kovulurlar
وَلَهُمْ
ve onlar için vardır
عَذَابٌۭ
bir azab
وَاصِبٌ
sürekli

Yusuf AliRepulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty

37:10 📚 1
إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابࣱ ثَاقِبࣱ‏
إِلَّا
(fakat) yalnız
مَنْ
kimseyi
خَطِفَ
kapan
ٱلْخَطْفَةَ
bir söz
فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ
onu izler
شِهَابٌۭ
bir şihab (ışın)
ثَاقِبٌۭ
delici

Yusuf AliExcept such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness

37:11 📚 2
فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينࣲ لَّازِبِۭ
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ
şimdi onlara sor
أَهُمْ
kendileri mi?
أَشَدُّ
daha çetin
خَلْقًا
yaratılış bakımından
أَم
yoksa
مَّنْ
kimseler (mi?)
خَلَقْنَآ ۚ
bizim yarattıklarımız
إِنَّا
elbette biz
خَلَقْنَـٰهُم
onları yarattık
مِّن
bir çamurdan
طِينٍۢ
a clay
لَّازِبٍۭ
yapışkan

Yusuf AliJust ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay

37:12 📚 2
بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ
بَلْ
hayır
عَجِبْتَ
sen şaşıyorsun
وَيَسْخَرُونَ
onlar ise alay ediyorlar

Yusuf AliTruly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule

37:13
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ
وَإِذَا
ve ne zaman
ذُكِّرُوا۟
öğüt verilse
لَا
öğüt almazlar
يَذْكُرُونَ
they receive admonition

Yusuf AliAnd, when they are admonished, pay no heed

37:14
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةࣰ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ
وَإِذَا
ve ne zaman
رَأَوْا۟
görseler
ءَايَةًۭ
bir mu'cize
يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
alay ederler

Yusuf AliAnd, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery

37:15
وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِينٌ
وَقَالُوٓا۟
ve diyorlar
إِنْ
değildir
هَـٰذَآ
bu
إِلَّا
başka bir şey
سِحْرٌۭ
bir büyüden
مُّبِينٌ
apaçık

Yusuf AliAnd say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery

37:16
أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
أَءِذَا
zaman mı?
مِتْنَا
öldüğümüz
وَكُنَّا
ve olduğumuz
تُرَابًۭا
toprak
وَعِظَـٰمًا
ve kemik
أَءِنَّا
biz mi?
لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
diriltileceğiz

Yusuf AliWhat! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)

37:17
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا
atalarımız da mı?
ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
evvelki

Yusuf AliAnd also our fathers of old

37:18
قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ
قُلْ
de ki
نَعَمْ
evet
وَأَنتُمْ
ve siz
دَٰخِرُونَ
aşağılanacaksınız

Yusuf AliSay thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)

37:19
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةࣱ وَٰحِدَةࣱ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ
فَإِنَّمَا
sadece ibarettir
هِىَ
o (iş)
زَجْرَةٌۭ
korkunç sesten
وَٰحِدَةٌۭ
bir tek
فَإِذَا
hemen
هُمْ
onlar
يَنظُرُونَ
bakıp kalırlar

Yusuf AliThen it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see

37:20
وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
وَقَالُوا۟
ve dediler
يَـٰوَيْلَنَا
eyvah bize
هَـٰذَا
bu
يَوْمُ
günüdür
ٱلدِّينِ
ceza

Yusuf AliThey will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment

37:21
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
هَـٰذَا
bu
يَوْمُ
günüdür
ٱلْفَصْلِ
hüküm
ٱلَّذِى
olduğunuz
كُنتُم
you used to
بِهِۦ
onu
تُكَذِّبُونَ
yalanlıyor

Yusuf Ali(A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied

37:22
۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ
۞ ٱحْشُرُوا۟
toplayın
ٱلَّذِينَ
kimseleri
ظَلَمُوا۟
(o) zalim(leri)
وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ
ve onların eşlerini
وَمَا
ve
كَانُوا۟
olduklarını
يَعْبُدُونَ
tapıyor(lar)

Yusuf AliBring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped

37:23
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
مِن
başka
دُونِ
Besides
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'tan
فَٱهْدُوهُمْ
onları götürün
إِلَىٰ
yoluna
صِرَٰطِ
(the) Path
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
cehennemin

Yusuf AliBesides God, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire

37:24
وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ
وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ
ve durdurun onları
إِنَّهُم
çünkü onlar
مَّسْـُٔولُونَ
sorguya çekileceklerdir

Yusuf AliBut stop them, for they must be asked

37:25 📚 1
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
مَا
size ne oldu ki?
لَكُمْ
(is) for you
لَا
birbirinize yardım etmiyorsunuz
تَنَاصَرُونَ
you help one another

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye help not each other

37:26
بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ
بَلْ
hayır
هُمُ
onlar
ٱلْيَوْمَ
o gün
مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
teslim olmuşlardır

Yusuf AliNay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment)

37:27 📚 3
وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
وَأَقْبَلَ
ve döner
بَعْضُهُمْ
bir kısmı
عَلَىٰ
diğerine
بَعْضٍۢ
others
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
sorar

Yusuf AliAnd they will turn to one another, and question one another

37:28
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ
قَالُوٓا۟
dediler ki
إِنَّكُمْ
şüphesiz siz
كُنتُمْ
bize gelirdiniz
تَأْتُونَنَا
come (to) us
عَنِ
sağdan
ٱلْيَمِينِ
the right

Yusuf AliThey will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)

37:29
قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ
قَالُوا۟
dediler
بَل
hayır
لَّمْ
zaten siz değildiniz
تَكُونُوا۟
you were
مُؤْمِنِينَ
inanan insanlar

Yusuf AliThey will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith

37:30
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمࣰ ا طَٰغِينَ
وَمَا
ve yoktu
كَانَ
was
لَنَا
bizim
عَلَيْكُم
sizi zorlayacak
مِّن
hiçbir
سُلْطَـٰنٍۭ ۖ
gücümüz
بَلْ
bilakis
كُنتُمْ
siz idiniz
قَوْمًۭا
bir toplum
طَـٰغِينَ
azgın

Yusuf AliNor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion

37:31
فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ
فَحَقَّ
artık hak oldu
عَلَيْنَا
bize
قَوْلُ
sözü
رَبِّنَآ ۖ
Rabbimizin
إِنَّا
elbette biz
لَذَآئِقُونَ
tadacağız

Yusuf AliSo now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins)

37:32
فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ
فَأَغْوَيْنَـٰكُمْ
sizi azdırdık
إِنَّا
çünkü biz
كُنَّا
kendimiz
غَـٰوِينَ
azmıştık

Yusuf AliWe led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray

37:33
فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ
فَإِنَّهُمْ
onlar
يَوْمَئِذٍۢ
o gün
فِى
azabda
ٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment
مُشْتَرِكُونَ
ortaktırlar

Yusuf AliTruly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty

37:34
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
إِنَّا
biz
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَفْعَلُ
yaparız
بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
suçlulara

Yusuf AliVerily that is how We shall deal with Sinners

37:35 📚 1
إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ
إِنَّهُمْ
çünkü onlar
كَانُوٓا۟
idiler
إِذَا
zaman
قِيلَ
dendiği
لَهُمْ
onlara
لَآ
yoktur
إِلَـٰهَ
tanrı
إِلَّا
başka
ٱللَّهُ
Allah'tan
يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
büyüklük tasıyor(lar)

Yusuf AliFor they, when they were told that there is no god except God, would puff themselves up with Pride

37:36
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرࣲ مَّجۡنُونِۭ
وَيَقُولُونَ
ve derlerdi
أَئِنَّا
biz mi?
لَتَارِكُوٓا۟
terk edeceğiz
ءَالِهَتِنَا
tanrılarımızı
لِشَاعِرٍۢ
bir şair için
مَّجْنُونٍۭ
cinlenmiş

Yusuf AliAnd say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed

37:37
بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
بَلْ
hayır
جَآءَ
o getirmişti
بِٱلْحَقِّ
gerçeği
وَصَدَّقَ
ve doğrulamıştı
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
elçileri

Yusuf AliNay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the apostles (before him)

37:38
إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ
إِنَّكُمْ
şüphesiz siz
لَذَآئِقُوا۟
tadacaksınız
ٱلْعَذَابِ
azabı
ٱلْأَلِيمِ
acı

Yusuf AliYe shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty

37:39
وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
وَمَا
ve
تُجْزَوْنَ
cezalandırılmayacaksınız
إِلَّا
dışında
مَا
şeyler
كُنتُمْ
olduğunuz
تَعْمَلُونَ
yapmış

Yusuf AliBut it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought

37:40 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
إِلَّا
(ve) hariçtir
عِبَادَ
kulları
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ın
ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
halis

Yusuf AliBut the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

37:41
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقࣱ مَّعۡلُومࣱ‏
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
işte
لَهُمْ
onlar için vardır
رِزْقٌۭ
bir rızık
مَّعْلُومٌۭ
bilinen

Yusuf AliFor them is a Sustenance determined

37:42
فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ
فَوَٰكِهُ ۖ
(türlü) meyvalar
وَهُم
ve onlar
مُّكْرَمُونَ
ağırlanırlar

Yusuf AliFruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity

37:43
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
فِى
cennetlerinde
جَنَّـٰتِ
Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Ni'met

Yusuf AliIn Gardens of Felicity

37:44
عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
عَلَىٰ
üzerinde
سُرُرٍۢ
tahtlar
مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
karşılıklı otururlar

Yusuf AliFacing each other on Thrones (of Dignity)

37:45
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسࣲ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ
يُطَافُ
dolaştırılır
عَلَيْهِم
önlerinde
بِكَأْسٍۢ
kadehler
مِّن
akan kaynaktan
مَّعِينٍۭ
a flowing spring

Yusuf AliRound will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain

37:46
بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةࣲ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
بَيْضَآءَ
berrak
لَذَّةٍۢ
lezzetli
لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ
içenler için

Yusuf AliCrystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof)

37:47 📚 1
لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلࣱ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ
لَا
yoktur
فِيهَا
onda
غَوْلٌۭ
sersemletme
وَلَا
ve olmazlar
هُمْ
onlar
عَنْهَا
onunla
يُنزَفُونَ
sarhoş

Yusuf AliFree from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom

37:48
وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينࣱ‏
وَعِندَهُمْ
ve yanlarında (vardır)
قَـٰصِرَٰتُ
kendilerini hapsetmiş
ٱلطَّرْفِ
bakışlarıyla
عِينٌۭ
iri gözlü (eşler)

Yusuf AliAnd besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty)

37:49 📚 3
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضࣱ مَّكۡنُونࣱ‏
كَأَنَّهُنَّ
onlar gibi (eşlerdir)
بَيْضٌۭ
bembeyaz yumurta
مَّكْنُونٌۭ
saklı

Yusuf AliAs if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded

37:50
فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
فَأَقْبَلَ
dönmüş
بَعْضُهُمْ
biri
عَلَىٰ
diğerine
بَعْضٍۢ
others
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
soruyorlar

Yusuf AliThen they will turn to one another and question one another

37:51
قَالَ قَآئِلࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينࣱ‏
قَالَ
dedi
قَآئِلٌۭ
bir sözcü
مِّنْهُمْ
onlardan
إِنِّى
şüphesiz
كَانَ
vardı
لِى
benim
قَرِينٌۭ
bir arkadaşım

Yusuf AliOne of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth)

37:52
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ
يَقُولُ
derdi ki
أَءِنَّكَ
sen misin?
لَمِنَ
kimseler(den)
ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ
doğrulayan(lar)

Yusuf AliWho used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)

37:53
أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
أَءِذَا
zaman mı?
مِتْنَا
biz öldüğümüz
وَكُنَّا
ve olduğumuz
تُرَابًۭا
toprak
وَعِظَـٰمًا
ve kemik
أَءِنَّا
biz mi?
لَمَدِينُونَ
cezalanacağız

Yusuf AliWhen we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments

37:54
قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ
قَالَ
dedi ki
هَلْ
siz
أَنتُم
you
مُّطَّلِعُونَ
bakar mısınız?

Yusuf Ali(A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down

37:55
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
فَٱطَّلَعَ
baktı
فَرَءَاهُ
onu gördü
فِى
ortasında
سَوَآءِ
(the) midst
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
cehennemin

Yusuf AliHe looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire

37:56
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ
قَالَ
dedi
تَٱللَّهِ
tallahi
إِن
sen az daha
كِدتَّ
you almost
لَتُرْدِينِ
beni de alçaltacaktın

Yusuf AliHe said: "By God! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition

37:57 📚 1
وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ
وَلَوْلَا
ve olmasaydı
نِعْمَةُ
ni'meti
رَبِّى
Rabbimin
لَكُنتُ
şimdi ben de olurdum
مِنَ
(oraya) getirilenlerden
ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ
those brought

Yusuf AliHad it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)

37:58
أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ
أَفَمَا
değil miyiz?
نَحْنُ
biz
بِمَيِّتِينَ
öleceklerden

Yusuf AliIs it (the case) that we shall not die

37:59
إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
إِلَّا
dışında
مَوْتَتَنَا
ölümümüz
ٱلْأُولَىٰ
ilk
وَمَا
ve değiliz
نَحْنُ
biz
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
azaba uğratılcak

Yusuf AliExcept our first death, and that we shall not be punished

37:60
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
إِنَّ
gerçekten
هَـٰذَا
bu
لَهُوَ
ta kendisidir
ٱلْفَوْزُ
başarının
ٱلْعَظِيمُ
büyük

Yusuf AliVerily this is the supreme achievement

37:61
لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ
لِمِثْلِ
misli gibi
هَـٰذَا
bunun
فَلْيَعْمَلِ
çalışsınlar
ٱلْعَـٰمِلُونَ
çalışanlar

Yusuf AliFor the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive

37:62
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرࣱ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
أَذَٰلِكَ
bu mu?
خَيْرٌۭ
hayırlı
نُّزُلًا
ağırlanmak için
أَمْ
yoksa
شَجَرَةُ
ağacı (mı?)
ٱلزَّقُّومِ
zakkum

Yusuf AliIs that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum

37:63
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ
إِنَّا
elbette biz
جَعَلْنَـٰهَا
onu yaptık
فِتْنَةًۭ
bir fitne (sınav)
لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
zalimler için

Yusuf AliFor We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers

37:64 📚 1
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةࣱ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
إِنَّهَا
elbette o
شَجَرَةٌۭ
bir ağaçtır
تَخْرُجُ
çıkan
فِىٓ
dibinde
أَصْلِ
(the) bottom
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
cehennemin

Yusuf AliFor it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire

37:65
طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
طَلْعُهَا
tomurcukları
كَأَنَّهُۥ
gibidir
رُءُوسُ
başları
ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينِ
şeytanların

Yusuf AliThe shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils

37:66
فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ
فَإِنَّهُمْ
onlar
لَـَٔاكِلُونَ
yiyeceklerdir
مِنْهَا
ondan
فَمَالِـُٔونَ
ve dolduracaklardır
مِنْهَا
onunla
ٱلْبُطُونَ
karınlarını

Yusuf AliTruly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith

37:67
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبࣰ ا مِّنۡ حَمِيمࣲ‏
ثُمَّ
sonra
إِنَّ
şüphesiz
لَهُمْ
onların vardır
عَلَيْهَا
bunun üzerine
لَشَوْبًۭا
bir içkileri
مِّنْ
kaynar sudan
حَمِيمٍۢ
boiling water

Yusuf AliThen on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water

37:68 📚 1
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
ثُمَّ
sonra
إِنَّ
elbette
مَرْجِعَهُمْ
dönecekleri yer
لَإِلَى
mutlaka
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
cehennemdir

Yusuf AliThen shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire

37:69
إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ
إِنَّهُمْ
çünkü onlar
أَلْفَوْا۟
buldular
ءَابَآءَهُمْ
babalarını
ضَآلِّينَ
sapık kimseler

Yusuf AliTruly they found their fathers on the wrong Path

37:70
فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ
فَهُمْ
kendileri de
عَلَىٰٓ
üzerinde
ءَاثَـٰرِهِمْ
onların izleri
يُهْرَعُونَ
koşturuyorlar

Yusuf AliSo they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps

37:71
وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
وَلَقَدْ
ve andolsun
ضَلَّ
sapmıştı
قَبْلَهُمْ
onlardan önce
أَكْثَرُ
çoğu
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
evvelkilerin

Yusuf AliAnd truly before them, many of the ancients went astray

37:72 📚 1
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
وَلَقَدْ
ve andolsun
أَرْسَلْنَا
biz göndermiştik
فِيهِم
onların içine
مُّنذِرِينَ
uyarıcılar

Yusuf AliBut We sent aforetime, among them, (apostles) to admonish them

37:73
فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
فَٱنظُرْ
bak
كَيْفَ
nasıl
كَانَ
oldu
عَـٰقِبَةُ
sonu
ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
uyarılanların

Yusuf AliThen see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not)

37:74 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
إِلَّا
ancak hariçtir
عِبَادَ
kulları
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ın
ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
halis

Yusuf AliExcept the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

37:75
وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحࣱ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ
وَلَقَدْ
ve andolsun
نَادَىٰنَا
bize yalvarmıştı
نُوحٌۭ
Nuh
فَلَنِعْمَ
ne güzel
ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ
kabul buyurmuştuk

Yusuf Ali(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer

37:76
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ
onu kurtarmıştık
وَأَهْلَهُۥ
ve ailesini
مِنَ
sıkıntıdan
ٱلْكَرْبِ
the distress
ٱلْعَظِيمِ
büyük

Yusuf AliAnd We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity

37:77 📚 2
وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ
وَجَعَلْنَا
ve yaptık
ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ
onun zürriyetini
هُمُ
onları
ٱلْبَاقِينَ
kalıcı

Yusuf AliAnd made his progeny to endure (on this earth)

37:78 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
وَتَرَكْنَا
ve (iyi bir ün) bıraktık
عَلَيْهِ
ona
فِى
arasında
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
sonra gelenler

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times

37:79
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحࣲ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
سَلَـٰمٌ
selam olsun
عَلَىٰ
Nuh'a
نُوحٍۢ
Nuh
فِى
içinde
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
alemler

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Noah among the nations

37:80 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
إِنَّا
şüphesiz biz
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَجْزِى
mükafatlandırırız
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
güzel davrananları

Yusuf AliThus indeed do we reward those who do right

37:81
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
إِنَّهُۥ
çünkü o
مِنْ
bizim kullarımızdandır
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
inanan

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

37:82
ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
ثُمَّ
sonra
أَغْرَقْنَا
suda boğduk
ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
ötekilerini

Yusuf AliThen the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood

37:83
۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
۞ وَإِنَّ
ve şüphesiz
مِن
onun kolundan idi
شِيعَتِهِۦ
his kind
لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
İbrahim de

Yusuf AliVerily among those who followed his Way was Abraham

37:84 📚 1
إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبࣲ سَلِيمٍ
إِذْ
zira
جَآءَ
gelmişti
رَبَّهُۥ
Rabbine
بِقَلْبٍۢ
bir kalb ile
سَلِيمٍ
tertemiz

Yusuf AliBehold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart

37:85
إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ
إِذْ
hani
قَالَ
demişti ki
لِأَبِيهِ
babasına
وَقَوْمِهِۦ
ve kavmine
مَاذَا
neye
تَعْبُدُونَ
tapıyorsunuz

Yusuf AliBehold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship

37:86
أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةࣰ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ
أَئِفْكًا
uydurma
ءَالِهَةًۭ
tanrılar (mı?)
دُونَ
bırakıp
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ı
تُرِيدُونَ
istiyorsunuz

Yusuf AliIs it a falsehood- gods other than God- that ye desire

37:87
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
فَمَا
nedir?
ظَنُّكُم
zannınız
بِرَبِّ
Rabbi hakkında
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
alemlerin

Yusuf AliThen what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds

37:88 📚 1
فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةࣰ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ
فَنَظَرَ
baktı
نَظْرَةًۭ
göz atarak
فِى
yıldızlara
ٱلنُّجُومِ
the stars

Yusuf AliThen did he cast a glance at the Stars

37:89 📚 2
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمࣱ‏
فَقَالَ
ve dedi
إِنِّى
elbette ben
سَقِيمٌۭ
hastayım

Yusuf AliAnd he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)

37:90
فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟
bunun üzerine kaçtılar
عَنْهُ
ondan
مُدْبِرِينَ
arkalarını dönüp

Yusuf AliSo they turned away from him, and departed

37:91
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
فَرَاغَ
o da gizlice sokuldu
إِلَىٰٓ
onların tanrılarına
ءَالِهَتِهِمْ
their gods
فَقَالَ
ve dedi
أَلَا
yemez misini?
تَأْكُلُونَ
you eat

Yusuf AliThen did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)

37:92 📚 1
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ
مَا
neyiniz var?
لَكُمْ
for you
لَا
konuşmuyorsunuz
تَنطِقُونَ
you speak

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)

37:93
فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِ
فَرَاغَ
ve gizlice sokulup
عَلَيْهِمْ
üzerlerine
ضَرْبًۢا
darbe indirdi
بِٱلْيَمِينِ
sağ eliyle

Yusuf AliThen did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand

37:94
فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَ
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟
hemen gittiler
إِلَيْهِ
ona
يَزِفُّونَ
koşarak

Yusuf AliThen came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him)

37:95 📚 1
قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ
قَالَ
dedi
أَتَعْبُدُونَ
şeylere-mi tapıyorsunuz?
مَا
şeylere
تَنْحِتُونَ
yonttuğunuz

Yusuf AliHe said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved

37:96 📚 8
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
وَٱللَّهُ
oysa Allah
خَلَقَكُمْ
sizi yaratmıştır
وَمَا
ve (bu şeyleri)
تَعْمَلُونَ
yaptığınız

Yusuf AliBut God has created you and your handwork

37:97
قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنࣰ ا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
قَالُوا۟
dediler
ٱبْنُوا۟
yapın
لَهُۥ
onun için
بُنْيَـٰنًۭا
bir bina
فَأَلْقُوهُ
ve onu atın
فِى
ateşe
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
the blazing Fire

Yusuf AliThey said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire

37:98
فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدࣰ ا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ
فَأَرَادُوا۟
ve istediler
بِهِۦ
ona
كَيْدًۭا
bir tuzak kurmak
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمُ
biz de onları kıldık
ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
aşağılıklardan

Yusuf Ali(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated

37:99 📚 1
وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ
وَقَالَ
ve dedi ki
إِنِّى
elbette ben
ذَاهِبٌ
gideceğim
إِلَىٰ
Rabbime
رَبِّى
my Lord
سَيَهْدِينِ
O beni doğru yola iletecek

Yusuf AliHe said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me

37:100
رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
رَبِّ
Rabbim
هَبْ
lutfet
لِى
bana
مِنَ
iyilerden (bir çocuk)
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
the righteous

Yusuf AliO my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)

37:101
فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمࣲ‏
فَبَشَّرْنَـٰهُ
ona müjdeledik
بِغُلَـٰمٍ
bir erkek çocuk
حَلِيمٍۢ
halim

Yusuf AliSo We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear

37:102 📚 5
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
فَلَمَّا
ne zaman ki
بَلَغَ
(çocuk) erişince;
مَعَهُ
onun yanında
ٱلسَّعْىَ
koşma çağına
قَالَ
(İbrahim ona) dedi
يَـٰبُنَىَّ
ey yavrum
إِنِّىٓ
şüphesiz ki ben
أَرَىٰ
görüyorum
فِى
uykuda
ٱلْمَنَامِ
the dream
أَنِّىٓ
ben
أَذْبَحُكَ
seni kesiyorum
فَٱنظُرْ
(düşün) bak
مَاذَا
ne?
تَرَىٰ ۚ
görüyorsun (dersin)
قَالَ
dedi
يَـٰٓأَبَتِ
ey babacığım
ٱفْعَلْ
yap
مَا
şeyi
تُؤْمَرُ ۖ
sana emredilen
سَتَجِدُنِىٓ
beni bulacaksın
إِن
eğer
شَآءَ
dilerse
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
مِنَ
sabredenlerden
ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
the patient ones

Yusuf AliThen, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if God so wills one practising Patience and Constancy

37:103 📚 3
فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ
فَلَمَّآ
ne zaman ki
أَسْلَمَا
ikisi (Allah'ın emrine) teslim oludu
وَتَلَّهُۥ
ve (çocuğu) yıktı
لِلْجَبِينِ
alnı üzerine

Yusuf AliSo when they had both submitted their wills (to God), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice)

37:104
وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
وَنَـٰدَيْنَـٰهُ
ve biz ona seslendik
أَن
diye
يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
ey İbrahim

Yusuf AliWe called out to him "O Abraham

37:105
قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
قَدْ
andolsun
صَدَّقْتَ
sen doğruladın
ٱلرُّءْيَآ ۚ
rüyayı
إِنَّا
elbette biz
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَجْزِى
mükafatlandırırız
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
güzel davrananları

Yusuf AliThou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right

37:106
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
إِنَّ
gerçekten
هَـٰذَا
bu
لَهُوَ
muhakkak o
ٱلْبَلَـٰٓؤُا۟
bir imtihandır
ٱلْمُبِينُ
apaçık

Yusuf AliFor this was obviously a trial

37:107
وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمࣲ‏
وَفَدَيْنَـٰهُ
ve fidye olarak ona verdik
بِذِبْحٍ
bir kurbanlık
عَظِيمٍۢ
büyük

Yusuf AliAnd We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice

37:108 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
وَتَرَكْنَا
ve (iyi bir ün) bıraktık
عَلَيْهِ
ona
فِى
arasında
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
sonra gelenler

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times

37:109
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
سَلَـٰمٌ
selam olsun
عَلَىٰٓ
üzerine
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
İbrahim

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Abraham

37:110 📚 2
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَجْزِى
biz mükafatlandırırız
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
güzel davrananları

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

37:111
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
إِنَّهُۥ
çünkü o
مِنْ
bizim kullarımızdandı
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
mü'min

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

37:112
وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيࣰّ ا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
وَبَشَّرْنَـٰهُ
ve ona müjdeledik
بِإِسْحَـٰقَ
İshak'ı
نَبِيًّۭا
bir peygamber olarak
مِّنَ
iyilerden
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
the righteous

Yusuf AliAnd We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous

37:113
وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنࣱ وَظَالِمࣱ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينࣱ‏
وَبَـٰرَكْنَا
ve bereketler verdik
عَلَيْهِ
kendisine
وَعَلَىٰٓ
ve
إِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ
İshak'a
وَمِن
onların neslinden
ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا
their offspring
مُحْسِنٌۭ
iyi hareket eden de var
وَظَالِمٌۭ
ve zulmeden de
لِّنَفْسِهِۦ
kendisine
مُبِينٌۭ
açıkça

Yusuf AliWe blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls

37:114
وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
وَلَقَدْ
ve andolsun
مَنَنَّا
lutuflarda bulunduk
عَلَىٰ
Musa'ya
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
وَهَـٰرُونَ
ve Harun'a

Yusuf AliAgain (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron

37:115
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُمَا
ve onları kurtardık
وَقَوْمَهُمَا
ve kavimlerini
مِنَ
sıkıntıdan
ٱلْكَرْبِ
the distress
ٱلْعَظِيمِ
büyük

Yusuf AliAnd We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity

37:116
وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
وَنَصَرْنَـٰهُمْ
ve onlara yardım ettik
فَكَانُوا۟
böylece oldular
هُمُ
kendileri
ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles)

37:117
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمَا
ve onlara verdik
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
Kitabı
ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ
açık ifadeli

Yusuf AliAnd We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear

37:118
وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ
وَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمَا
ve onları ilettik
ٱلصِّرَٰطَ
yola
ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
doğru

Yusuf AliAnd We guided them to the Straight Way

37:119
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
وَتَرَكْنَا
ve (iyi bir ün) bıraktık
عَلَيْهِمَا
onlara
فِى
arasında
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
sonra gelenler

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times

37:120
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
سَلَـٰمٌ
selam olsun
عَلَىٰ
Musa'ya
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
وَهَـٰرُونَ
ve Harun'a

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Moses and Aaron

37:121 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
إِنَّا
elbette biz
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَجْزِى
mükafatlandırırız
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
güzel davrananları

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

37:122
إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
إِنَّهُمَا
çünkü ikisi de
مِنْ
bizim kullarımızdandı
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
inanan

Yusuf AliFor they were two of our believing Servants

37:123
وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
وَإِنَّ
ve şüphesiz
إِلْيَاسَ
İlyas
لَمِنَ
elçilerdendi
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers

Yusuf AliSo also was Elias among those sent (by Us)

37:124
إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
إِذْ
hani
قَالَ
demişti ki
لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ
kavmine
أَلَا
korunmaz mısınız?
تَتَّقُونَ
you fear

Yusuf AliBehold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (God)

37:125
أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلࣰ ا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ
أَتَدْعُونَ
Ba'l'e-mi yalvarıyorsunuz?
بَعْلًۭا
Ba'l'e
وَتَذَرُونَ
ve bırakıyorsunuz
أَحْسَنَ
en güzelini
ٱلْخَـٰلِقِينَ
yaratıcıların

Yusuf AliWill ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators

37:126
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ٱللَّهَ
Allah'ı?
رَبَّكُمْ
sizin Rabbiniz
وَرَبَّ
ve Rabbi
ءَابَآئِكُمُ
atalarınızın
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
önceki

Yusuf AliGod, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old

37:127
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
onu yalanladılar
فَإِنَّهُمْ
bundan dolayı onlar
لَمُحْضَرُونَ
(azaba) getirileceklerdir

Yusuf AliBut they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment)

37:128 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
إِلَّا
yalnız hariçtir
عِبَادَ
kulları
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ın
ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
halis

Yusuf AliExcept the sincere and devoted Servants of God (among them)

37:129 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
وَتَرَكْنَا
biz (iyi bir ün) bıraktık
عَلَيْهِ
ona
فِى
arasında
ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
sonra gelenler

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times

37:130
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ
سَلَـٰمٌ
selam olsun
عَلَىٰٓ
İlyas'a
إِلْ يَاسِينَ
Elijah

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to such as Elias

37:131 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
إِنَّا
elbette biz
كَذَٰلِكَ
işte böyle
نَجْزِى
mükafatlandırırız
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
güzel davrananları

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

37:132
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
إِنَّهُۥ
çünkü o
مِنْ
bizim kullarımızdandı
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
mü'min

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

37:133
وَإِنَّ لُوطࣰ ا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
وَإِنَّ
ve şüphesiz
لُوطًۭا
Lut
لَّمِنَ
gönderilen elçilerdendi
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers

Yusuf AliSo also was Lut among those sent (by Us)

37:134
إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ
إِذْ
hani
نَجَّيْنَـٰهُ
onu kurtarmıştık
وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ
ve ailesini
أَجْمَعِينَ
hepsini

Yusuf AliBehold, We delivered him and his adherents, all

37:135
إِلَّا عَجُوزࣰ ا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
إِلَّا
dışında
عَجُوزًۭا
acuze bir kadın
فِى
arasında bulunan
ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
(azabda) kalacaklar

Yusuf AliExcept an old woman who was among those who lagged behind

37:136
ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
ثُمَّ
sonra
دَمَّرْنَا
kırdık (geçirdik)
ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ
ötekileri

Yusuf AliThen We destroyed the rest

37:137 📚 3
وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ
وَإِنَّكُمْ
şüphesiz siz
لَتَمُرُّونَ
geçip gidiyorsunuz
عَلَيْهِم
onların yanlarından
مُّصْبِحِينَ
sabahleyin

Yusuf AliVerily, ye pass by their (sites), by day

37:138
وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ
ve geceleyin
أَفَلَا
düşünmüyor musunuz?
تَعْقِلُونَ
you use reason

Yusuf AliAnd by night: will ye not understand

37:139 📚 2
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
وَإِنَّ
ve şüphesiz
يُونُسَ
Yunus
لَمِنَ
gönderilen elçilerdendi
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers

Yusuf AliSo also was Jonah among those sent (by Us)

37:140 📚 2
إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ
إِذْ
hani
أَبَقَ
kaçmıştı
إِلَى
gemiye
ٱلْفُلْكِ
the ship
ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
dolu

Yusuf AliWhen he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden

37:141 📚 1
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَ
فَسَاهَمَ
kur'a çekti
فَكَانَ
ve oldu
مِنَ
yenilenlerden
ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ
the losers

Yusuf AliHe (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned

37:142
فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمࣱ‏
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ
sonra onu yuttu
ٱلْحُوتُ
balık
وَهُوَ
ve o
مُلِيمٌۭ
kendi kendisini kınarken

Yusuf AliThen the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame

37:143 📚 8
فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَ
فَلَوْلَآ
eğer
أَنَّهُۥ
ki o
كَانَ
olmasaydı
مِنَ
tesbih edenlerden
ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ
those who glorify

Yusuf AliHad it not been that he (repented and) glorified God

37:144 📚 2
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ
لَلَبِثَ
kalırdı
فِى
onun karnında
بَطْنِهِۦٓ
its belly
إِلَىٰ
kadar
يَوْمِ
güne
يُبْعَثُونَ
yeniden diriltilecekleri

Yusuf AliHe would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection

37:145
۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمࣱ‏
۞ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُ
onu attık
بِٱلْعَرَآءِ
ağaçsız çıplak bir yere
وَهُوَ
ve o
سَقِيمٌۭ
hasta bir halde iken

Yusuf AliBut We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness

37:146
وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةࣰ مِّن يَقۡطِينࣲ‏
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا
ve bitirdik
عَلَيْهِ
üzerine
شَجَرَةًۭ
bir ağacı
مِّن
asma kabak
يَقْطِينٍۢ
gourd

Yusuf AliAnd We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind

37:147
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَ
وَأَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ
ve onu elçi gönderdik
إِلَىٰ
(insan)a
مِا۟ئَةِ
yüz
أَلْفٍ
bin
أَوْ
ya da
يَزِيدُونَ
daha fazlasına

Yusuf AliAnd We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more

37:148
فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينࣲ‏
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟
ve inandılar
فَمَتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ
biz de onları geçindirdik
إِلَىٰ
kadar
حِينٍۢ
bir süreye

Yusuf AliAnd they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while

37:149
فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ
şimdi onlara sor
أَلِرَبِّكَ
Rabbine (mi?)
ٱلْبَنَاتُ
kızlar
وَلَهُمُ
onlara da
ٱلْبَنُونَ
oğlanlar (mı?)

Yusuf AliNow ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons

37:150
أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثࣰ ا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ
أَمْ
yoksa
خَلَقْنَا
yarattık
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ
melekleri
إِنَـٰثًۭا
dişi olarak (mı?)
وَهُمْ
ve onlar
شَـٰهِدُونَ
görüyorlarken

Yusuf AliOr that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)

37:151
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ
أَلَآ
iyi bilin ki
إِنَّهُم
elbette onlar
مِّنْ
yüzünden
إِفْكِهِمْ
iftiraları
لَيَقُولُونَ
diyorlar ki

Yusuf AliIs it not that they say, from their own invention

37:152
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ
وَلَدَ
doğurdu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَإِنَّهُمْ
ve onlar
لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
elbette yalancıdırlar

Yusuf AliGod has begotten children"? but they are liars

37:153
أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ
أَصْطَفَى
tercih mi etmiş?
ٱلْبَنَاتِ
kızları
عَلَى
karşı
ٱلْبَنِينَ
oğlanlara

Yusuf AliDid He (then) choose daughters rather than sons

37:154 📚 2
مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ
مَا
ne?
لَكُمْ
size (ne) oldu?
كَيْفَ
nasıl
تَحْكُمُونَ
hüküm veriyorsunuz

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you? How judge ye

37:155
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
أَفَلَا
hiç mi düşünmüyorsunuz?
تَذَكَّرُونَ
you pay heed

Yusuf AliWill ye not then receive admonition

37:156
أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏
أَمْ
yoksa (-mi var?)
لَكُمْ
sizin
سُلْطَـٰنٌۭ
an authority
مُّبِينٌۭ
açık

Yusuf AliOr have ye an authority manifest

37:157
فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
فَأْتُوا۟
getirin
بِكِتَـٰبِكُمْ
Kitabınızı
إِن
eğer
كُنتُمْ
iseniz
صَـٰدِقِينَ
doğrulardan

Yusuf AliThen bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful

37:158
وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبࣰ اۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ
وَجَعَلُوا۟
ve uydurdular
بَيْنَهُۥ
O'nunla
وَبَيْنَ
arasında
ٱلْجِنَّةِ
cinler
نَسَبًۭا ۚ
bir nesep
وَلَقَدْ
oysa
عَلِمَتِ
bilmişlerdir
ٱلْجِنَّةُ
cinler
إِنَّهُمْ
kendilerinin
لَمُحْضَرُونَ
(yüce divana) getirileceklerini

Yusuf AliAnd they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment- Seat)

37:159
سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
سُبْحَـٰنَ
(münezzehtir) yücedir
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
عَمَّا
onların taktıkları sıfatlardan
يَصِفُونَ
they attribute

Yusuf AliGlory to God! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)

37:160 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
إِلَّا
fakat hariçtir
عِبَادَ
kulları
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ın
ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
temiz

Yusuf AliNot (so do) the Servants of God, sincere and devoted

37:161
فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ
فَإِنَّكُمْ
ne siz
وَمَا
ve ne de
تَعْبُدُونَ
taptıklarınız

Yusuf AliFor, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship

37:162
مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ
مَآ
değil(siniz)
أَنتُمْ
siz
عَلَيْهِ
O'na karşı
بِفَـٰتِنِينَ
saptıracak

Yusuf AliCan lead (any) into temptation concerning God

37:163
إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
إِلَّا
başkasını
مَنْ
kimseden
هُوَ
O
صَالِ
girecek
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
cehenneme

Yusuf AliExcept such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire

37:164 📚 3
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامࣱ مَّعۡلُومࣱ‏
وَمَا
ve yoktur
مِنَّآ
bizden kimsenin
إِلَّا
dışında
لَهُۥ
onun
مَقَامٌۭ
bir makamı
مَّعْلُومٌۭ
bilinen

Yusuf Ali(Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed

37:165 📚 5
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ
وَإِنَّا
ve elbette biziz
لَنَحْنُ
muhakkak biz
ٱلصَّآفُّونَ
o saf saf dizilenler

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily ranged in ranks (for service)

37:166 📚 4
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ
وَإِنَّا
ve elbette biziz
لَنَحْنُ
muhakkak biz
ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ
o tesbih edenler

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily those who declare (God's) glory

37:167
وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ
وَإِن
ve elbette
كَانُوا۟
onlar
لَيَقُولُونَ
şöyle diyorlardı

Yusuf AliAnd there were those who said

37:168
لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
لَوْ
eğer olsaydı
أَنَّ
kuşkusuz
عِندَنَا
yanımızda
ذِكْرًۭا
bir uyarı
مِّنَ
öncekilerden
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
the former (people)

Yusuf AliIf only we had had before us a Message from those of old

37:169
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
لَكُنَّا
elbette biz olurduk
عِبَادَ
kulları
ٱللَّهِ
Allah'ın
ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
halis

Yusuf AliWe should certainly have been Servants of God, sincere (and devoted)

37:170
فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ
فَكَفَرُوا۟
ama inkar ettiler
بِهِۦ ۖ
onu
فَسَوْفَ
yakında
يَعْلَمُونَ
bileceklerdir

Yusuf AliBut (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know

37:171 📚 1
وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
وَلَقَدْ
ve andolsun
سَبَقَتْ
geçmişti
كَلِمَتُنَا
şu sözümüz
لِعِبَادِنَا
kullarımıza
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
gönderilen elçi

Yusuf AliAlready has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us)

37:172
إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ
إِنَّهُمْ
mutlaka onlar
لَهُمُ
kendileri olacaktır
ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ
zafere ulaştırılanlar

Yusuf AliThat they would certainly be assisted

37:173
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
وَإِنَّ
ve mutlaka
جُندَنَا
bizim ordumuz
لَهُمُ
onlara
ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
galip gelecektir

Yusuf AliAnd that Our forces,- they surely must conquer

37:174
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينࣲ‏
فَتَوَلَّ
o halde dön
عَنْهُمْ
onlardan
حَتَّىٰ
kadar
حِينٍۢ
bir süreye

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

37:175
وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ
onları gözetle
فَسَوْفَ
yakında
يُبْصِرُونَ
göreceklerdir

Yusuf AliAnd watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

37:176
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا
bizim azabımızı mı?
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
acele istiyorlar

Yusuf AliDo they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment

37:177 📚 1
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ
فَإِذَا
zaman
نَزَلَ
(azab) indiği
بِسَاحَتِهِمْ
yurtlarına
فَسَآءَ
ne kötü olur
صَبَاحُ
sabahı
ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
uyarılmış olanların

Yusuf AliBut when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)

37:178
وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينࣲ‏
وَتَوَلَّ
ve uzaklaş
عَنْهُمْ
onlardan
حَتَّىٰ
kadar
حِينٍۢ
bir süreye

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

37:179
وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ
وَأَبْصِرْ
ve (bekle de) gör
فَسَوْفَ
yakında
يُبْصِرُونَ
onlar da göreceklerdir

Yusuf AliAnd watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

37:180
سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
سُبْحَـٰنَ
yücedir
رَبِّكَ
Rabbin
رَبِّ
sahibi
ٱلْعِزَّةِ
kudret ve şeref
عَمَّا
onların nitelendirmelerinden
يَصِفُونَ
they attribute

Yusuf AliGlory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)

37:181
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
وَسَلَـٰمٌ
ve selam olsun
عَلَى
üzerine
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
gönderilen elçiler

Yusuf AliAnd Peace on the apostles

37:182
وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
وَٱلْحَمْدُ
ve hamd olsun
