37:1
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفࣰّ ا

Yusuf AliBy those who range themselves in ranks

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun o saf bağlayıp duranlara

Saheeh InternationalBy those [angels] lined up in rows

37:2
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرࣰ ا

Yusuf AliAnd so are strong in repelling (evil)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO haykırıp da sürenlere

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who drive [the clouds]

37:3
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا

Yusuf AliAnd thus proclaim the Message (of God)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe o yolda zikir okuyanlara

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who recite the message

37:4
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدࣱ‏

Yusuf AliVerily, verily, your God is one

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKi sizin ilâhınız birdir

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your God is One

37:5
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ

Yusuf AliLord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO, göklerin, yerin ve aralarındakilerin Rabbidir, bütün doğuların da Rabbidir

Saheeh InternationalLord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises

37:6 📚 2
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ

Yusuf AliWe have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGerçekten biz dünya göğünü (o yakın göğü) bir zinetle, yıldızlarla süsledik

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars

37:7
وَحِفۡظࣰ ا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنࣲ مَّارِدࣲ‏

Yusuf Ali(For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnu her inatçı şeytandan koruduk

Saheeh InternationalAnd as protection against every rebellious devil

37:8 📚 1
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبࣲ‏

Yusuf Ali(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar yüksek (melekler) topluluğunu dinleyemezler. Her taraftan kovulup atılırlar

Saheeh International[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side

37:9
دُحُورࣰ اۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ وَاصِبٌ

Yusuf AliRepulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırUzaklaştırılırlar. Onlara ardı arkası kesilmez bir azab vardır

Saheeh InternationalRepelled; and for them is a constant punishment

37:10 📚 1
إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابࣱ ثَاقِبࣱ‏

Yusuf AliExcept such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAncak kulak hırsızlığı yapanlar olur. Onu da yakıcı bir alev takip eder

Saheeh InternationalExcept one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]

37:11 📚 2
فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينࣲ لَّازِبِۭ

Yusuf AliJust ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞimdi onlara sor: "Yaradılışça kendileri mi daha çetin, yoksa bizim yarattıklarımız mı?" Gerçekten biz onları cıvık bir çamurdan yarattık

Saheeh InternationalThen inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay

37:12 📚 2
بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ

Yusuf AliTruly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat sen onlara şaşıyorsun, ama onlar (seninle) eğleniyorlar

Saheeh InternationalBut you wonder, while they mock

37:13
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd, when they are admonished, pay no heed

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKendilerine hatırlatıldığında da düşünmüyorlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they are reminded, they remember not

37:14
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةࣰ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBir mucize gördükleri zaman da eğlenceye alıyorlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they see a sign, they ridicule

37:15
وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِينٌ

Yusuf AliAnd say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe diyorlar ki: "Bu apaçık büyüden başka bir şey değildir

Saheeh InternationalAnd say, "This is not but obvious magic

37:16
أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

Yusuf AliWhat! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÖldüğümüz ve bir toprakla bir yığın kemik olduğumuz zaman mı biz tekrar dirilecekmişiz

Saheeh InternationalWhen we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

37:17
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd also our fathers of old

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÖnceki atalarımız da mı

Saheeh InternationalAnd our forefathers [as well]

37:18
قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

Yusuf AliSay thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "Evet, hem de sizler çok aşağılanmış olarak (dirileceksiniz)

Saheeh InternationalSay, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible

37:19
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةࣱ وَٰحِدَةࣱ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

Yusuf AliThen it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü O (sura üfürmek) zorlu bir kumandadan ibarettir ki, derhal onların gözleri açılıverir

Saheeh InternationalIt will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing

37:20
وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

Yusuf AliThey will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEyvah bizlere! İşte bu hesap günüdür." derler

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense

37:21
هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Yusuf Ali(A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlara): "İşte bu, sizin yalanlamakta olduğunuz (iyi ve kötüyü) ayırt etme günüdür" denir

Saheeh International[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny

37:22
۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ

Yusuf AliBring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırToplayın mahşere o zulmedenleri, eşlerini ve Allah'tan başka taptıkları şeyleri. Toplayın da götürün onları sırata (cehennem köprüsüne) doğru

Saheeh International[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship

37:23
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliBesides God, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırToplayın mahşere o zulmedenleri, eşlerini ve Allah'tan başka taptıkları şeyleri. Toplayın da götürün onları sırata (cehennem köprüsüne) doğru

Saheeh InternationalOther than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire

37:24
وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ

Yusuf AliBut stop them, for they must be asked

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe durdurun onları, çünkü sorguya çekilecekler

Saheeh InternationalAnd stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned

37:25 📚 1
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye help not each other

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlara): "Ne oldu sizlere de yardımlaşmıyorsunuz?" (denilir)

Saheeh International[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other

37:26
بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ

Yusuf AliNay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHayır, bugün onlar teslim olmuşlardır

Saheeh InternationalBut they, that Day, are in surrender

37:27 📚 3
وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd they will turn to one another, and question one another

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar, birbirine dönmüş soruşuyorlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another blaming each other

37:28
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

Yusuf AliThey will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar: "Siz bize (uğurlu görünerek) sağdan gelir dururdunuz" derler

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right

37:29
قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThey will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(İleri gelenler de) derler ki: "Hayır, siz inanmamıştınız

Saheeh InternationalThe oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers

37:30
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمࣰ ا طَٰغِينَ

Yusuf AliNor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBizim de size karşı bir gücümüz yoktu. Fakat siz azmış bir kavimdiniz

Saheeh InternationalAnd we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people

37:31
فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ

Yusuf AliSo now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnun için üzerimize Rabbimizin azab sözü hak oldu. Şüphesiz azabımızı tadacağız

Saheeh InternationalSo the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]

37:32
فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ

Yusuf AliWe led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEvet biz, sizi kışkırttık. Çünkü biz azgındık

Saheeh InternationalAnd we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators

37:33
فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ

Yusuf AliTruly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO halde hepsi o gün azabda ortaktırlar

Saheeh InternationalSo indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment

37:34
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

Yusuf AliVerily that is how We shall deal with Sinners

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz günahkarlara böyle yaparız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, that is how We deal with the criminals

37:35 📚 1
إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

Yusuf AliFor they, when they were told that there is no god except God, would puff themselves up with Pride

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü onlar, kendilerine: "Allah'tan başka ilâh yoktur" denildiği zaman kafa tutuyorlardı

Saheeh InternationalIndeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant

37:36
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرࣲ مَّجۡنُونِۭ

Yusuf AliAnd say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe: "Biz, hiçbir mecnun (deli) şair için ilâhlarımızı bırakır mıyız?" diyorlardı

Saheeh InternationalAnd were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet

37:37
بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliNay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the apostles (before him)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHayır o, hak ile geldi ve bütün peygamberleri tasdik etti

Saheeh InternationalRather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers

37:38
إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ

Yusuf AliYe shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırElbette siz o acı azabı tadacaksınız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment

37:39
وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

Yusuf AliBut it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBununla beraber başka değil, hep yaptığınız amellerinizle cezalandırılacaksınız

Saheeh InternationalAnd you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do

37:40 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Yusuf AliBut the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSadece Allah'ın ihlaslı kulları müstesnadır

Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allah

37:41
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقࣱ مَّعۡلُومࣱ‏

Yusuf AliFor them is a Sustenance determined

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte onlar için belli bir rızık vardır

Saheeh InternationalThose will have a provision determined

37:42
فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ

Yusuf AliFruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırMeyveler (vardır), Naîm cennetlerinde onlara hep ikram edilir

Saheeh InternationalFruits; and they will be honored

37:43
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Yusuf AliIn Gardens of Felicity

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırMeyveler (vardır), Naîm cennetlerinde onlara hep ikram edilir

Saheeh InternationalIn gardens of pleasure

37:44
عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Yusuf AliFacing each other on Thrones (of Dignity)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlar) Karşılıklı tahtlar üzerindedirler

Saheeh InternationalOn thrones facing one another

37:45
يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسࣲ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ

Yusuf AliRound will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİçenlere lezzet veren, pınardan doldurulmuş bembeyaz bir kadehle onların etrafında dolaşılır

Saheeh InternationalThere will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring

37:46
بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةࣲ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ

Yusuf AliCrystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİçenlere lezzet veren, pınardan doldurulmuş bembeyaz bir kadehle onların etrafında dolaşılır

Saheeh InternationalWhite and delicious to the drinkers

37:47 📚 1
لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلࣱ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ

Yusuf AliFree from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnda ne bir zararlı sonuç vardır, ne de sarhoşluk verir

Saheeh InternationalNo bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated

37:48
وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينࣱ‏

Yusuf AliAnd besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYanlarında iri gözlü, bakışlarını kocalarından başkalarına çevirmeyen hanımlar vardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes

37:49 📚 3
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضࣱ مَّكۡنُونࣱ‏

Yusuf AliAs if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSanki onlar örtülüp saklanmış yumurta gibidirler

Saheeh InternationalAs if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected

37:50
فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

Yusuf AliThen they will turn to one another and question one another

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken birbirine dönüp sorarlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another, inquiring of each other

37:51
قَالَ قَآئِلࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينࣱ‏

Yusuf AliOne of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİçlerinden bir sözcü der ki: "Gerçekten benim bir arkadaşım vardı

Saheeh InternationalA speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]

37:52
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ

Yusuf AliWho used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerdi ki: "Sen gerçekten inananlardan mısın

Saheeh InternationalWho would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe

37:53
أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

Yusuf AliWhen we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÖldüğümüz ve bir toprakla bir yığın kemik olduğumuz zaman biz hakikaten cezalanacak mıyız

Saheeh InternationalThat when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed

37:54
قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ

Yusuf Ali(A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSiz onu tanır mısınız?" der

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "Would you [care to] look

37:55
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliHe looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken bakınır ve onu cehennemin ta ortasında görür

Saheeh InternationalAnd he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire

37:56
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ

Yusuf AliHe said: "By God! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOna şöyle der: "Allah'a yemin ederim ki, doğrusu sen az daha beni helak edecektin

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me

37:57 📚 1
وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ

Yusuf AliHad it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırRabbimin nimeti olmasaydı, ben de bu tutuklananlardan olacaktım

Saheeh InternationalIf not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]

37:58
أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ

Yusuf AliIs it (the case) that we shall not die

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırNasılmış bak. Biz ilk ölümümüzden başka bir daha ölmeyecek miymişiz? Biz azaba uğratılmayacak mıymışız

Saheeh InternationalThen, are we not to die

37:59
إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

Yusuf AliExcept our first death, and that we shall not be punished

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırNasılmış bak. Biz ilk ölümümüzden başka bir daha ölmeyecek miymişiz? Biz azaba uğratılmayacak mıymışız

Saheeh InternationalExcept for our first death, and we will not be punished

37:60
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

Yusuf AliVerily this is the supreme achievement

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte bu büyük kurtuluştur

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this is the great attainment

37:61
لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ

Yusuf AliFor the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇalışanlar işte böyle bir kurtuluş için çalışsınlar

Saheeh InternationalFor the like of this let the workers [on earth] work

37:62
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرࣱ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ

Yusuf AliIs that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırNasıl, bu mu daha hayırlı konukluk için, yoksa zakkum ağacı mı

Saheeh InternationalIs Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum

37:63
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ

Yusuf AliFor We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGerçekten biz onu zalimler için bir fitne (imtihan) yaptık

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers

37:64 📚 1
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةࣱ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliFor it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO bir ağaçtır ki cehennemin dibinde çıkar

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire

37:65
طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

Yusuf AliThe shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırTomurcukları şeytanların başları gibidir

Saheeh InternationalIts emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils

37:66
فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ

Yusuf AliTruly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırMutlaka onlar, ondan yiyecekler de karınlarını bundan dolduracaklardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies

37:67
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبࣰ ا مِّنۡ حَمِيمࣲ‏

Yusuf AliThen on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra üzerine onlar için kaynar bir içecek vardır

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water

37:68 📚 1
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliThen shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra da dönecekleri yer, şüphesiz cehennemdir

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire

37:69
إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ

Yusuf AliTruly they found their fathers on the wrong Path

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü onlar, atalarını sapıklıkta buldular

Saheeh InternationalIndeed they found their fathers astray

37:70
فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ

Yusuf AliSo they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞimdi de kendileri onların izlerinde koşturuyorlar

Saheeh InternationalSo they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps

37:71
وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd truly before them, many of the ancients went astray

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki, onlardan öncekilerin çoğu sapıklıkta idiler

Saheeh InternationalAnd there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples

37:72 📚 1
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

Yusuf AliBut We sent aforetime, among them, (apostles) to admonish them

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGerçekten biz onlara içlerinden uyarıcı peygamberler de gönderdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had already sent among them warners

37:73
فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

Yusuf AliThen see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra da bak o uyarılanların sonu nasıl oldu

Saheeh InternationalThen look how was the end of those who were warned

37:74 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Yusuf AliExcept the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAncak Allah'ın ihlas ile seçilen kulları başka

Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allah

37:75
وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحࣱ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ

Yusuf Ali(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki Nuh bize seslenip dua etmişti de biz de ne güzel kabul etmiştik

Saheeh InternationalAnd Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders

37:76
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Yusuf AliAnd We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz hem onu, hem ailesini o büyük sıkıntıdan kurtardık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We saved him and his family from the great affliction

37:77 📚 2
وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd made his progeny to endure (on this earth)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem onun neslini bâki kalanlar kıldık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]

37:78 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem de sonradan gelenler içinde güzel bir namını bıraktık

Saheeh InternationalAnd left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

37:79
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحࣲ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Noah among the nations

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBütün âlemler içinde Nuh'a selam olsun

Saheeh InternationalPeace upon Noah among the worlds

37:80 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThus indeed do we reward those who do right

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz iyilik yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

37:81
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü o bizim mümin kullarımızdandı

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants

37:82
ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

Yusuf AliThen the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra diğerlerini suda boğduk

Saheeh InternationalThen We drowned the disbelievers

37:83
۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

Yusuf AliVerily among those who followed his Way was Abraham

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞüphesiz ki İbrahim de onun kolundandı

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, among his kind was Abraham

37:84 📚 1
إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبࣲ سَلِيمٍ

Yusuf AliBehold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü o, Rabbine tertemiz bir kalb ile gelmişti

Saheeh InternationalWhen he came to his Lord with a sound heart

37:85
إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ

Yusuf AliBehold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO babasına ve kavmine şöyle demişti: "Siz nelere tapıyorsunuz

Saheeh International[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship

37:86
أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةࣰ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ

Yusuf AliIs it a falsehood- gods other than God- that ye desire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYalancılık etmek için mi Allah'tan başka ilâhlar istiyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalIs it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire

37:87
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Yusuf AliThen what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSiz âlemlerin Rabbini ne zannediyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalThen what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds

37:88 📚 1
فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةࣰ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ

Yusuf AliThen did he cast a glance at the Stars

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken yıldızlara bir baktı da: "Ben gerçekten hastayım" dedi

Saheeh InternationalAnd he cast a look at the stars

37:89 📚 2
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliAnd he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken yıldızlara bir baktı da: "Ben gerçekten hastayım" dedi

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill

37:90
فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ

Yusuf AliSo they turned away from him, and departed

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO zaman arkalarını dönerek başından kaçışıverdiler

Saheeh InternationalSo they turned away from him, departing

37:91
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

Yusuf AliThen did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken bir kurnazlıkla onların ilâhlarına vardı da, "Buyursanıza, yemez misiniz?" dedi

Saheeh InternationalThen he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat

37:92 📚 1
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Cevap vermediklerini görünce de): "Neyiniz var da konuşmuyorsunuz?" (dedi)

Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you that you do not speak

37:93
فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِ

Yusuf AliThen did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırNihayet bir yolunu bulup onlara kuvvetli bir darbe indirdi

Saheeh InternationalAnd he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand

37:94
فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَ

Yusuf AliThen came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBunun üzerine birbirlerine girerek ona yürüdüler

Saheeh InternationalThen the people came toward him, hastening

37:95 📚 1
قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ

Yusuf AliHe said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİbrahim dedi ki: "A, siz kendi yonttuğunuz şeylere mi tapıyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve

37:96 📚 8
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

Yusuf AliBut God has created you and your handwork

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHalbuki sizi de yaptıklarınızı da Allah yaratmıştır

Saheeh InternationalWhile Allah created you and that which you do

37:97
قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنࣰ ا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliThey said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar: "Haydin onun için bir yapı yapın da onu ateşe atın." dediler

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire

37:98
فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدࣰ ا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ

Yusuf Ali(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBöylece ona bir tuzak kurmak istediler. Biz de kendilerini daha alçak düşürdük

Saheeh InternationalAnd they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased

37:99 📚 1
وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ

Yusuf AliHe said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBir de dedi ki: "Ben Rabbime gidiyorum, o bana yolunu gösterir

Saheeh InternationalAnd [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me

37:100
رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Yusuf AliO my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEy Rabbim! Bana salihlerden (bir oğul) ihsan et

Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous

37:101
فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمࣲ‏

Yusuf AliSo We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz de kendisine yumuşak huylu bir oğul müjdeledik

Saheeh InternationalSo We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy

37:102 📚 5
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

Yusuf AliThen, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if God so wills one practising Patience and Constancy

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOğlu, yanında koşacak çağa gelince: "Ey oğlum! Ben seni rüyamda boğazladığımı görüyorum. Artık bak, ne düşünürsün?" dedi. Çocuk da: "Babacığım sana ne emrediliyorsa yap, inşaallah beni sabredenlerden bulacaksın" dedi

Saheeh InternationalAnd when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast

37:103 📚 3
فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ

Yusuf AliSo when they had both submitted their wills (to God), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırNe zaman ki ikisi de bu şekilde Allah'a teslim oldular, İbrahim oğlunu şakağı üzerine yatırdı

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead

37:104
وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ

Yusuf AliWe called out to him "O Abraham

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz de ona şöyle seslendik: "Ey İbrahim

Saheeh InternationalWe called to him, "O Abraham

37:105
قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırRüyana gerçekten sadakat gösterdin, şüphesiz ki, biz iyilik yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız

Saheeh InternationalYou have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

37:106
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Yusuf AliFor this was obviously a trial

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞüphesiz ki bu apaçık bir imtihandı." (dedik)

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this was the clear trial

37:107
وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمࣲ‏

Yusuf AliAnd We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe ona büyük bir kurbanlık fidye verdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We ransomed him with a great sacrifice

37:108 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKendisine sonradan gelenler içinde iyi bir nâm bıraktık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

37:109
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Abraham

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSelam olsun İbrahim'e

Saheeh InternationalPeace upon Abraham

37:110 📚 2
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz iyilik yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

37:111
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü o bizim mümin kullarımızdandı

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants

37:112
وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيࣰّ ا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOna bir de salihlerden bir peygamber olmak üzere İshak'ı müjdeledik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous

37:113
وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنࣱ وَظَالِمࣱ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينࣱ‏

Yusuf AliWe blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem ona hem İshak'a bereketler verdik. Her ikisinin neslinden de hem iyilik yapanlar var, hem de açıkça kendi nefsine zulmedenler var

Saheeh InternationalAnd We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself

37:114
وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

Yusuf AliAgain (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki biz Musa ile Harun'a da nimetler verdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron

37:115
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Yusuf AliAnd We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem kendilerini ve kavimlerini o büyük sıkıntıdan kurtardık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We saved them and their people from the great affliction

37:116
وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem yardım ettik onlara da, galip gelenler onlar oldular

Saheeh InternationalAnd We supported them so it was they who overcame

37:117
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHem kendilerine o belli kitabı (Tevrat'ı) verdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We gave them the explicit Scripture

37:118
وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ

Yusuf AliAnd We guided them to the Straight Way

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırKendilerini doğru yola çıkardık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We guided them on the straight path

37:119
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonrakiler içinde onlara iyi bir nam bıraktık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations

37:120
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to Moses and Aaron

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSelam olsun, Musa ile Harun'a

Saheeh InternationalPeace upon Moses and Aaron

37:121 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz iyilik yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

37:122
إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Yusuf AliFor they were two of our believing Servants

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü onların ikisi de bizim mümin kullarımızdandı

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, they were of Our believing servants

37:123
وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliSo also was Elias among those sent (by Us)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞüphesiz İlyas da gönderilen peygamberlerdendir

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Elias was from among the messengers

37:124
إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

Yusuf AliBehold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (God)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani o kavmine: "Siz Allah'tan korkmaz mısınız? Yaratanların en güzeli olan, sizin de Rabbiniz, daha önceki atalarınızın da Rabbi bulunan Allah'ı bırakıp da "Ba'l'e" (Ba'l ismindeki puta) mi yalvarıyorsunuz?" dedi

Saheeh InternationalWhen he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah

37:125
أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلࣰ ا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ

Yusuf AliWill ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani o kavmine: "Siz Allah'tan korkmaz mısınız? Yaratanların en güzeli olan, sizin de Rabbiniz, daha önceki atalarınızın da Rabbi bulunan Allah'ı bırakıp da "Ba'l'e" (Ba'l ismindeki puta) mi yalvarıyorsunuz?" dedi

Saheeh InternationalDo you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators

37:126
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Yusuf AliGod, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani o kavmine: "Siz Allah'tan korkmaz mısınız? Yaratanların en güzeli olan, sizin de Rabbiniz, daha önceki atalarınızın da Rabbi bulunan Allah'ı bırakıp da "Ba'l'e" (Ba'l ismindeki puta) mi yalvarıyorsunuz?" dedi

Saheeh InternationalAllah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers

37:127
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

Yusuf AliBut they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat onlar, onu yalanladılar. Bu yüzden onlar mutlaka (cehennemde) hazır bulundurulacaklardır

Saheeh InternationalAnd they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment]

37:128 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Yusuf AliExcept the sincere and devoted Servants of God (among them)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAncak Allah'ın ihlaslı kulları müstesna

Saheeh InternationalExcept the chosen servants of Allah

37:129 📚 2
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOna da sonrakiler içinde şunu bıraktık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

37:130
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ

Yusuf AliPeace and salutation to such as Elias

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSelam olsun İlyâsîn'e

Saheeh InternationalPeace upon Elias

37:131 📚 2
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Yusuf AliThus indeed do We reward those who do right

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırİşte biz iyilik yapanları böyle mükafatlandırırız

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

37:132
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü o bizim mümin kullarımızdandı

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants

37:133
وَإِنَّ لُوطࣰ ا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliSo also was Lut among those sent (by Us)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞüphesiz Lût da gönderilen peygamberlerdendir

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Lot was among the messengers

37:134
إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ

Yusuf AliBehold, We delivered him and his adherents, all

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani biz onu ve ailesinin tamamını kurtarmıştık

Saheeh International[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all

37:135
إِلَّا عَجُوزࣰ ا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

Yusuf AliExcept an old woman who was among those who lagged behind

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAncak geride kalıp batanlar içinde kalan yaşlı bir kadın hariç

Saheeh InternationalExcept his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]

37:136
ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ

Yusuf AliThen We destroyed the rest

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra diğerlerini helak etmiştik

Saheeh InternationalThen We destroyed the others

37:137 📚 3
وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ

Yusuf AliVerily, ye pass by their (sites), by day

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe siz elbette sabahleyin ve geceleyin onlara uğrar ve üzerlerinden geçersiniz. Hâlâ akıl edip düşünmez misiniz

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, you pass by them in the morning

37:138
وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd by night: will ye not understand

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe siz elbette sabahleyin ve geceleyin onlara uğrar ve üzerlerinden geçersiniz. Hâlâ akıl edip düşünmez misiniz

Saheeh InternationalAnd at night. Then will you not use reason

37:139 📚 2
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliSo also was Jonah among those sent (by Us)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞüphesiz Yunus da gönderilen peygamberlerdendir

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Jonah was among the messengers

37:140 📚 2
إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ

Yusuf AliWhen he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHani o bir zaman dolu bir gemiye kaçmıştı

Saheeh International[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship

37:141 📚 1
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَ

Yusuf AliHe (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Oradakilerle) kur'a çekmiş de kaydırılanlardan (yenilenlerden) olmuştu

Saheeh InternationalAnd he drew lots and was among the losers

37:142
فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliThen the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerken (denize atılmış ve) kendisini balık yutmuştu. (Kendi nefsini) kınıyordu

Saheeh InternationalThen the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy

37:143 📚 8
فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَ

Yusuf AliHad it not been that he (repented and) glorified God

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEğer çok tesbih edenlerden olmasaydı, yeniden dirilecekleri güne kadar onun karnında kalırdı

Saheeh InternationalAnd had he not been of those who exalt Allah

37:144 📚 2
لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

Yusuf AliHe would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırEğer çok tesbih edenlerden olmasaydı, yeniden dirilecekleri güne kadar onun karnında kalırdı

Saheeh InternationalHe would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected

37:145
۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمࣱ‏

Yusuf AliBut We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz onu hasta bir halde bir alana çıkardık

Saheeh InternationalBut We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill

37:146
وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةࣰ مِّن يَقۡطِينࣲ‏

Yusuf AliAnd We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÜzerine kabak cinsinden bir ağaç bitirdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We caused to grow over him a gourd vine

37:147
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBiz onu (Yunus'u) yüz bin veya daha çok insana peygamber olarak gönderdik

Saheeh InternationalAnd We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more

37:148
فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينࣲ‏

Yusuf AliAnd they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO zaman ona iman ettiler de biz onları bir zamana kadar yaşattık

Saheeh InternationalAnd they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time

37:149
فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ

Yusuf AliNow ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırŞimdi sor o seninkilere: Kızlar, Rabbinin de, oğlanlar onların mı

Saheeh InternationalSo inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons

37:150
أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثࣰ ا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

Yusuf AliOr that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYoksa biz melekleri dişi yaratmışız da onlar şahit mi bulunuyorlarmış

Saheeh InternationalOr did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses

37:151
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ

Yusuf AliIs it not that they say, from their own invention

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHa!.. Onlar, şüphesiz uydurdukları iftiralarından dolayı: "Allah doğurdu" derler. Hiç şüphesiz onlar, yalancıdırlar

Saheeh InternationalUnquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say

37:152
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Yusuf AliGod has begotten children"? but they are liars

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHa!.. Onlar, şüphesiz uydurdukları iftiralarından dolayı: "Allah doğurdu" derler. Hiç şüphesiz onlar, yalancıdırlar

Saheeh InternationalAllah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

37:153
أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

Yusuf AliDid He (then) choose daughters rather than sons

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Allah) kızları oğullara tercih mi etmiş

Saheeh InternationalHas He chosen daughters over sons

37:154 📚 2
مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you? How judge ye

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSize ne oldu? Nasıl hükmediyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

37:155
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Yusuf AliWill ye not then receive admonition

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHiç düşünmüyor musunuz

Saheeh InternationalThen will you not be reminded

37:156
أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏

Yusuf AliOr have ye an authority manifest

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYoksa sizin için açık bir delil mi var

Saheeh InternationalOr do you have a clear authority

37:157
فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

Yusuf AliThen bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO halde, eğer doğru söylüyorsanız getirin kitabınızı

Saheeh InternationalThen produce your scripture, if you should be truthful

37:158
وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبࣰ اۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment- Seat)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlar, Allah ile cinler arasında bir neseb (hısımlık bağı) uydurdular. Oysa andolsun cinler bilirler ki, o yalancılar mutlaka cehenneme götürüleceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalAnd they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]

37:159
سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Yusuf AliGlory to God! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah, onların yakıştırdıkları vasıflardan münezzeh ve yücedir

Saheeh InternationalExalted is Allah above what they describe

37:160 📚 1
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Yusuf AliNot (so do) the Servants of God, sincere and devoted

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat Allah'ın ihlas ile seçilen kulları başka (onlar, Allah'ı böyle şirk ile vasıflamazlar)

Saheeh InternationalExcept the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]

37:161
فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ

Yusuf AliFor, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü siz ve taptıklarınız, kendiliğinden cehenneme saldıran kimseden başkasını, Allah'a karşı kandırıp, saptıramazsınız

Saheeh InternationalSo indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship

37:162
مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ

Yusuf AliCan lead (any) into temptation concerning God

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü siz ve taptıklarınız, kendiliğinden cehenneme saldıran kimseden başkasını, Allah'a karşı kandırıp, saptıramazsınız

Saheeh InternationalYou cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him

37:163
إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Yusuf AliExcept such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırÇünkü siz ve taptıklarınız, kendiliğinden cehenneme saldıran kimseden başkasını, Allah'a karşı kandırıp, saptıramazsınız

Saheeh InternationalExcept he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire

37:164 📚 3
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامࣱ مَّعۡلُومࣱ‏

Yusuf Ali(Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Melekler): "Bizden her birimizin belli bir makamı vardır. Biziz o saf saf dizilenler, biziz! Biziz o tesbih edenler, biziz!" derler

Saheeh International[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position

37:165 📚 5
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily ranged in ranks (for service)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Melekler): "Bizden her birimizin belli bir makamı vardır. Biziz o saf saf dizilenler, biziz! Biziz o tesbih edenler, biziz!" derler

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]

37:166 📚 4
وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily those who declare (God's) glory

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Melekler): "Bizden her birimizin belli bir makamı vardır. Biziz o saf saf dizilenler, biziz! Biziz o tesbih edenler, biziz!" derler

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who exalt Allah

37:167
وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd there were those who said

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Müşrikler) şöyle diyorlardı: "Eğer yanımızda önceki (ümmet)lerden bir kitap olsaydı, elbette biz de Allah'ın ihlas ile seçilmiş kullarından olurduk

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, the disbelievers used to say

37:168
لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Yusuf AliIf only we had had before us a Message from those of old

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Müşrikler) şöyle diyorlardı: "Eğer yanımızda önceki (ümmet)lerden bir kitap olsaydı, elbette biz de Allah'ın ihlas ile seçilmiş kullarından olurduk

Saheeh InternationalIf we had a message from [those of] the former peoples

37:169
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Yusuf AliWe should certainly have been Servants of God, sincere (and devoted)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Müşrikler) şöyle diyorlardı: "Eğer yanımızda önceki (ümmet)lerden bir kitap olsaydı, elbette biz de Allah'ın ihlas ile seçilmiş kullarından olurduk

Saheeh InternationalWe would have been the chosen servants of Allah

37:170
فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Yusuf AliBut (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat şimdi onu inkâr ettiler. Ama ilerde bileceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalBut they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know

37:171 📚 1
وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliAlready has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki peygamberlikle gönderilen kullarımız hakkında şu sözümüz geçmiştir: "Onlar var ya, elbette onlar muzaffer olacaklardır ve elbette bizim ordularımız mutlaka galip geleceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalAnd Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers

37:172
إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ

Yusuf AliThat they would certainly be assisted

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki peygamberlikle gönderilen kullarımız hakkında şu sözümüz geçmiştir: "Onlar var ya, elbette onlar muzaffer olacaklardır ve elbette bizim ordularımız mutlaka galip geleceklerdir

Saheeh International[That] indeed, they would be those given victory

37:173
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd that Our forces,- they surely must conquer

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun ki peygamberlikle gönderilen kullarımız hakkında şu sözümüz geçmiştir: "Onlar var ya, elbette onlar muzaffer olacaklardır ve elbette bizim ordularımız mutlaka galip geleceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalAnd [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome

37:174
فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينࣲ‏

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnun için sen, bir süreye kadar onlardan yüz çevir

Saheeh InternationalSo, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time

37:175
وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnlara (inecek azabı) gözetle. Yakında onlar da göreceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalAnd see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see

37:176
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

Yusuf AliDo they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYa şimdi onlar, bizim azabımıza uğramakta acele mi ediyorlar

Saheeh InternationalThen for Our punishment are they impatient

37:177 📚 1
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

Yusuf AliBut when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat (azabımız) onların sahasına indiği zaman, (o acı sonuçla) uyarılanların sabahı ne kötüdür

Saheeh InternationalBut when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned

37:178
وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينࣲ‏

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYine sen, bir süreye kadar onlardan yüz çevir

Saheeh InternationalAnd leave them for a time

37:179
وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ

Yusuf AliAnd watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(İnecek azabı) gözetle! Yakında onlar da göreceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalAnd see, for they are going to see

37:180
سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Yusuf AliGlory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSenin güç ve kuvvet sahibi Rabbin, onların yakıştırdıkları vasıflardan münezzeh ve yücedir

Saheeh InternationalExalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe

37:181
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd Peace on the apostles

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırGönderilen bütün peygamberlere selam olsun

Saheeh InternationalAnd peace upon the messengers

37:182
وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Yusuf AliAnd Praise to God, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHamd, âlemlerin Rabbi Allah'a mahsustur

Saheeh InternationalAnd praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds
