37. As-Saaffaat سُورَةُ الصَّافَّاتِ

Yusuf AliBy those who range themselves in ranks

Saheeh InternationalBy those [angels] lined up in rows

Ali BulaçHaykırıp sürükleyenlere

Yusuf AliAnd so are strong in repelling (evil)

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who drive [the clouds]

Yusuf AliAnd thus proclaim the Message (of God)

Saheeh InternationalAnd those who recite the message

Yusuf AliVerily, verily, your God is one

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, your God is One

Yusuf AliLord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun

Saheeh InternationalLord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz Biz dünya göğünü 'çekici bir süsle', yıldızlarla süsleyip-donattık

Yusuf AliWe have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars

Ali BulaçVe itaatten çıkmış her azgın şeytandan koruduk

Yusuf Ali(For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits

Saheeh InternationalAnd as protection against every rebellious devil

Ali BulaçKi onlar, Mele'i A'la'ya kulak verip dinleyemezler, her yandan kovulup atılırlar

Yusuf Ali(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side

Saheeh International[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side

Yusuf AliRepulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty

Saheeh InternationalRepelled; and for them is a constant punishment

Yusuf AliExcept such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness

Saheeh InternationalExcept one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]

Yusuf AliJust ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay

Saheeh InternationalThen inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay

Ali BulaçHayır, sen (bu muhteşem yaratışa ve onların inkarına) şaşırdın kaldın; onlar ise alay edip duruyorlar

Yusuf AliTruly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule

Saheeh InternationalBut you wonder, while they mock

Ali BulaçKendilerine öğüt verildiğinde, öğüt almıyorlar

Yusuf AliAnd, when they are admonished, pay no heed

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they are reminded, they remember not

Ali BulaçBir ayet (mucize) gördüklerinde de, alay konusu edinip eğleniyorlar

Yusuf AliAnd, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they see a sign, they ridicule

Ali BulaçBu, açıkça bir büyüden başkası değildir" dediler

Yusuf AliAnd say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery

Saheeh InternationalAnd say, "This is not but obvious magic

Ali BulaçBiz öldüğümüz, toprak ve kemik olduğumuzda mı, gerçekten biz mi diriltilecekmişiz

Yusuf AliWhat! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again)

Saheeh InternationalWhen we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

Ali BulaçVeya önceki atalarımız da mı

Yusuf AliAnd also our fathers of old

Saheeh InternationalAnd our forefathers [as well]

Ali BulaçDe ki: "Evet, üstelik boyun bükmüş kimseler olarak (diriltileceksiniz).”

Yusuf AliSay thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)

Saheeh InternationalSay, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible

Ali Bulaçİşte o, yalnızca bir tek çığlıktan ibarettir; artık kendileri (diriltilmiş olarak) bakıp duruyorlar

Yusuf AliThen it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see

Saheeh InternationalIt will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing

Ali BulaçDerler ki: "Eyvahlar bize; bu, din günüdür

Yusuf AliThey will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense

Ali BulaçBu, sizin yalanladığınız (mü'mini kafirden, haklıyı haksızdan) ayırma günüdür

Yusuf Ali(A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied

Saheeh International[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny

Ali BulaçZulmedenleri, eşlerini ve taptıklarını biraraya getirip toplayın

Yusuf AliBring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped

Saheeh International[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship

Yusuf AliBesides God, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire

Saheeh InternationalOther than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire

Yusuf AliBut stop them, for they must be asked

Saheeh InternationalAnd stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye help not each other

Saheeh International[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other

Yusuf AliNay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment)

Saheeh InternationalBut they, that Day, are in surrender

Ali BulaçKimi kimine yönelmiş olarak birbirlerine soruyorlar

Yusuf AliAnd they will turn to one another, and question one another

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another blaming each other

Ali BulaçGerçekten sizler bize sağdan (sağ duyudan ve haktan) yana gelip yanaşıyordunuz." derler

Yusuf AliThey will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)

Saheeh InternationalThey will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right

Ali Bulaç(Diğerleri de:) "Hayır" derler. "Zaten sizler mü'min kimseler değildiniz

Yusuf AliThey will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith

Saheeh InternationalThe oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers

Ali BulaçBizim üzerinizde zorlayıcı hiçbir gücümüz yoktu; hayır siz (kendiniz) azgın bir kavimdiniz

Yusuf AliNor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion

Saheeh InternationalAnd we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people

Ali BulaçBöylece Rabbimiz'in sözü (yıkım ve azap va'di) üzerimize hak oldu. Şüphesiz, (azabı) tadıcılarız

Yusuf AliSo now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins)

Saheeh InternationalSo the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]

Ali BulaçEvet, sizi azdırdık, çünkü biz de azgın kimselerdik

Yusuf AliWe led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray

Saheeh InternationalAnd we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators

Ali BulaçArtık o gün onlar azapta ortaktırlar

Yusuf AliTruly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty

Saheeh InternationalSo indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment

Ali BulaçDoğrusu Biz, suçlu-günahkarlara böyle yaparız

Yusuf AliVerily that is how We shall deal with Sinners

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, that is how We deal with the criminals

Ali BulaçÇünkü onlara: "Allah'tan başka İlah yoktur" denildiği zaman, büyüklük taslarlardı

Yusuf AliFor they, when they were told that there is no god except God, would puff themselves up with Pride

Saheeh InternationalIndeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant

Yusuf AliAnd say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed

Saheeh InternationalAnd were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet

Yusuf AliNay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the apostles (before him)

Saheeh InternationalRather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz, siz, acı azabı tadıcılarsınız

Yusuf AliYe shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment

Ali BulaçYaptıklarınızdan başkasıyla cezalandırılmayacaksınız

Yusuf AliBut it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought

Saheeh InternationalAnd you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do

Ali BulaçAncak muhlis olan kullar başka

Yusuf AliBut the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allah

Ali Bulaçİşte onlar; onlar için bilinen bir rızık vardır

Yusuf AliFor them is a Sustenance determined

Saheeh InternationalThose will have a provision determined

Ali BulaçÇeşitli-meyveler. Onlar ikram görenlerdir

Yusuf AliFruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity

Saheeh InternationalFruits; and they will be honored

Ali BulaçNimetlerle donatılmış (naim) cennetlerde

Yusuf AliIn Gardens of Felicity

Saheeh InternationalIn gardens of pleasure

Ali BulaçBirbirlerine karşı, tahtlar üzerinde (otururlar)

Yusuf AliFacing each other on Thrones (of Dignity)

Saheeh InternationalOn thrones facing one another

Ali BulaçKaynaktan (doldurulmuş) kadehlerle çevrelerinde dolaşılır

Yusuf AliRound will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain

Saheeh InternationalThere will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring

Ali BulaçBembeyaz; içenlere lezzet (veren bir içki)

Yusuf AliCrystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof)

Saheeh InternationalWhite and delicious to the drinkers

Ali BulaçOnda ne bir gaile vardır, ne de kendilerinden geçip, akılları çelinir

Yusuf AliFree from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom

Saheeh InternationalNo bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated

Ali BulaçVe yanlarında bakışlarını yalnızca eşlerine çevirmiş iri gözlü kadınlar vardır

Yusuf AliAnd besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty)

Saheeh InternationalAnd with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes

Yusuf AliAs if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded

Saheeh InternationalAs if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected

Ali BulaçBöyleyken, kimi kimine yönelmiş olarak, birbirlerine soruyorlar

Yusuf AliThen they will turn to one another and question one another

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will approach one another, inquiring of each other

Yusuf AliOne of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth)

Saheeh InternationalA speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]

Yusuf AliWho used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)

Saheeh InternationalWho would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe

Ali BulaçBizler öldüğümüz, toprak ve kemikler olduğumuzda mı, gerçekten biz mi (yeniden diriltilip sonra da) sorguya çekilecekmişiz

Yusuf AliWhen we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments

Saheeh InternationalThat when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed

Yusuf Ali(A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "Would you [care to] look

Yusuf AliHe looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire

Yusuf AliHe said: "By God! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition

Saheeh InternationalHe will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me

Ali BulaçEğer Rabbimin nimeti olmasaydı, muhakkak ben de (azap yerine getirilip) hazır bulundurulanlardan olacaktım

Yusuf AliHad it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)

Saheeh InternationalIf not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]

Ali BulaçNasıl, biz ölecek olanlar değil miymişiz

Yusuf AliIs it (the case) that we shall not die

Saheeh InternationalThen, are we not to die

Ali BulaçYalnızca birinci ölümümüzden başka (öyle mi)? Ve biz azaba uğratılacak olanlar değil miymişiz

Yusuf AliExcept our first death, and that we shall not be punished

Saheeh InternationalExcept for our first death, and we will not be punished

Yusuf AliVerily this is the supreme achievement

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this is the great attainment

Yusuf AliFor the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive

Saheeh InternationalFor the like of this let the workers [on earth] work

Yusuf AliIs that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum

Saheeh InternationalIs Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum

Yusuf AliFor We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers

Yusuf AliFor it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire

Yusuf AliThe shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils

Saheeh InternationalIts emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils

Ali BulaçArtık gerçekten, ondan yiyecekler böylelikle karınlarını ondan dolduracaklar

Yusuf AliTruly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies

Ali BulaçSonra kendileri için onun üzerinde kaynar su karıştırılmış bir içkileri de vardır

Yusuf AliThen on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water

Yusuf AliThen shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire

Yusuf AliTruly they found their fathers on the wrong Path

Saheeh InternationalIndeed they found their fathers astray

Yusuf AliSo they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps

Saheeh InternationalSo they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps

Yusuf AliAnd truly before them, many of the ancients went astray

Saheeh InternationalAnd there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples

Yusuf AliBut We sent aforetime, among them, (apostles) to admonish them

Saheeh InternationalAnd We had already sent among them warners

Yusuf AliThen see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not)

Saheeh InternationalThen look how was the end of those who were warned

Ali BulaçAncak muhlis olan kullar başka

Yusuf AliExcept the sincere (and devoted) Servants of God

Saheeh InternationalBut not the chosen servants of Allah

Ali BulaçAndolsun, Nuh Bize (dua edip) seslenmişti de, ne güzel icabet etmiştik

Yusuf Ali(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer

Saheeh InternationalAnd Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders

Ali BulaçOnu ve ailesini, o büyük üzüntüden kurtarmıştık

Yusuf AliAnd We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity

Saheeh InternationalAnd We saved him and his family from the great affliction

Ali BulaçVe onun soyunu, (dünyada) onları da baki kıldık

Yusuf AliAnd made his progeny to endure (on this earth)

Saheeh InternationalAnd We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]

Yusuf AliAnd We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times

Saheeh InternationalAnd left for him [favorable mention] among later generations

Saheeh InternationalPeace upon Noah among the worlds

Ali BulaçGerçekten Biz, ihsanda bulunanları böyle ödüllendiririz

Yusuf AliThus indeed do we reward those who do right

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good

Ali BulaçŞüphesiz o, Bizim mü’min olan kullarımızdandı

Yusuf AliFor he was one of our believing Servants

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, he was of Our believing servants

Ali BulaçSonra diğerlerini suda boğduk

Yusuf AliThen the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood

Saheeh InternationalThen We drowned the disbelievers

Ali BulaçDoğrusu İbrahim de onun (soyunun) bir kolundandır

Yusuf AliVerily among those who followed his Way was Abraham

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, among his kind was Abraham

Ali BulaçHani o, Rabbine arınmış (selim) bir kalp ile gelmişti

Yusuf AliBehold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart

Saheeh InternationalWhen he came to his Lord with a sound heart

Ali BulaçHani babasına ve kavmine demişti ki: “Sizler neye tapıyorsunuz?”

Yusuf AliBehold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship

Saheeh International[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship

Ali Bulaç“Birtakım uydurma yalanlar için mi Allah’tan başka ilahlar istiyorsunuz?”

Yusuf AliIs it a falsehood- gods other than God- that ye desire

Saheeh InternationalIs it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire

Ali Bulaç“Alemlerin Rabbi hakkındaki zannınız nedir?”

Yusuf AliThen what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds

Saheeh InternationalThen what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds

Ali BulaçSonra yıldızlara bir göz attı

Yusuf AliThen did he cast a glance at the Stars

Saheeh InternationalAnd he cast a look at the stars

Ali Bulaç“Ben, doğrusu hastayım” dedi

Yusuf AliAnd he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)

Saheeh InternationalAnd said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill

Ali BulaçBöylelikle arkalarını çevirip ondan kaçmaya başladılar

Yusuf AliSo they turned away from him, and departed

Saheeh InternationalSo they turned away from him, departing

Ali BulaçBunun üzerine onların ilahlarına sokulup: “Yemek yemiyor musunuz?” dedi

Yusuf AliThen did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)

Saheeh InternationalThen he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat

Ali Bulaç“Size ne oluyor ki konuşmuyorsunuz?”

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)

Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you that you do not speak

Ali BulaçDerken onların üstüne yürüyüp sağ eliyle bir darbe indirdi

Yusuf AliThen did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand

Saheeh InternationalAnd he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand

Ali BulaçÇok geçmeden (halkı) birbirine girmiş durumda kendisine yönelip geldiler

Yusuf AliThen came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him)

Saheeh InternationalThen the people came toward him, hastening

Ali BulaçDedi ki: “Yontmakta olduğunuz şeylere mi tapıyorsunuz?”

Yusuf AliHe said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved

Saheeh InternationalHe said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve

Ali Bulaç“Oysa sizi de, yapmakta olduklarınızı da Allah yaratmıştır.”

Yusuf AliBut God has created you and your handwork

Saheeh InternationalWhile Allah created you and that which you do

Ali BulaçDediler ki: “Onun için (yüksekçe) bir bina inşa edin de onu çılgınca yanan ateşin içine atın.”

Yusuf AliThey said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire

Saheeh InternationalThey said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire

Ali BulaçBöylelikle ona bir tuzak hazırlamak istediler. Oysa Biz, onları alçaltılmışlar kıldık

Yusuf Ali(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated

Saheeh InternationalAnd they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased

Ali Bulaç(İbrahim) Dedi ki: “Şüphesiz ben, Rabbime gidiciyim; O, beni hidayete erdirecektir.”

Yusuf AliHe said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me

Saheeh InternationalAnd [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me

Ali Bulaç“Rabbim, bana salihlerden (olan bir çocuk) armağan et.”

Yusuf AliO my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)

Saheeh InternationalMy Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous

Ali BulaçBiz de onu halim bir çocukla müjdeledik

Yusuf AliSo We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear

Saheeh InternationalSo We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy

Yusuf AliThen, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if God so wills one practising Patience and Constancy

Saheeh InternationalAnd when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast

Yusuf AliWe blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls

Saheeh InternationalAnd We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself

Yusuf AliBut they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment)

Saheeh International[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all

Saheeh InternationalExcept his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]

Ali BulaçSiz onların üstünden muhakkak geçip gidiyorsunuz; sabah vakti

Yusuf AliVerily, ye pass by their (sites), by day

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, you pass by them in the morning

Ali BulaçVe geceleyin. Yine de akıllanmayacak mısınız

Yusuf AliAnd by night: will ye not understand

Saheeh InternationalAnd at night. Then will you not use reason

Yusuf AliSo also was Jonah among those sent (by Us)

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, Jonah was among the messengers

Ali BulaçHani o, dolu bir gemiye kaçmıştı

Yusuf AliWhen he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden

Saheeh International[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship

Ali BulaçBöylece kur’aya katılmıştı da, kaybedenlerden olmuştu

Yusuf AliHe (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned

Saheeh InternationalAnd he drew lots and was among the losers

Ali BulaçDerken onu balık yutmuştu, oysa o kınanmıştı

Yusuf AliThen the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame

Saheeh InternationalThen the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy

Ali BulaçEğer (Allah’ı çokça) tesbih edenlerden olmasaydı

Yusuf AliHad it not been that he (repented and) glorified God

Saheeh InternationalAnd had he not been of those who exalt Allah

Ali BulaçOnun karnında (insanların) dirilip-kaldırılacakları güne kadar kalakalmıştı

Yusuf AliHe would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection

Saheeh InternationalHe would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected

Ali BulaçSonunda o hasta bir durumdayken çıplak bir yere (sahile) attık

Yusuf AliBut We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness

Saheeh InternationalBut We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill

Ali BulaçVe üzerine, sık-geniş yaprakla (kabağa benzer) türden bir ağaç bitirdik

Yusuf AliAnd We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind

Saheeh InternationalAnd We caused to grow over him a gourd vine

Ali BulaçOnu yüzbin veya (sayısı) daha da artan (bir topluluk)a (peygamber olarak) gönderdik

Yusuf AliAnd We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more

Saheeh InternationalAnd We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more

Ali BulaçSonunda ona iman ettiler, Biz de onları bir süreye kadar yararlandırdık

Yusuf AliAnd they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while

Saheeh InternationalAnd they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time

Yusuf AliNow ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons

Saheeh InternationalSo inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons

Yusuf AliOr that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)

Saheeh InternationalOr did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses

Yusuf AliIs it not that they say, from their own invention

Saheeh InternationalUnquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say

Yusuf AliGod has begotten children"? but they are liars

Saheeh InternationalAllah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars

Yusuf AliDid He (then) choose daughters rather than sons

Saheeh InternationalHas He chosen daughters over sons

Ali BulaçSize ne oluyor, nasıl hüküm veriyorsunuz

Yusuf AliWhat is the matter with you? How judge ye

Saheeh InternationalWhat is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement

Ali BulaçHiç mi öğüt alıp-düşünmüyorsunuz

Yusuf AliWill ye not then receive admonition

Saheeh InternationalThen will you not be reminded

Ali BulaçYoksa sizin apaçık olan bir deliliniz mi var

Yusuf AliOr have ye an authority manifest

Saheeh InternationalOr do you have a clear authority

Ali BulaçEğer doğru söylüyorsanız, öyleyse getirin kitabınızı

Yusuf AliThen bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful

Saheeh InternationalThen produce your scripture, if you should be truthful

Ali BulaçOnlar, Kendisi'yle (Allah ile) cinler arasında bir soy-bağı kurdular. Oysa andolsun, cinler de onların gerçekten (azap için getirilip) hazır bulundurulacaklarını bilmişlerdir

Yusuf AliAnd they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment- Seat)

Saheeh InternationalAnd they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]

Ali BulaçOnların nitelendirdiklerinden Allah Yücedir

Yusuf AliGlory to God! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)

Saheeh InternationalExalted is Allah above what they describe

Ali BulaçAncak muhlis olan kullar başka

Yusuf AliNot (so do) the Servants of God, sincere and devoted

Saheeh InternationalExcept the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]

Ali BulaçArtık siz de, tapmakta olduklarınız da

Yusuf AliFor, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship

Saheeh InternationalSo indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship

Ali BulaçO’na karşı kimseyi fitneye sürükleyecek değilsiniz

Yusuf AliCan lead (any) into temptation concerning God

Saheeh InternationalYou cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him

Ali BulaçAncak kendisi çılgınca yanan ateşe girecek olan başka (onu sürüklersiniz)

Yusuf AliExcept such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalExcept he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire

Yusuf Ali(Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed

Saheeh International[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily ranged in ranks (for service)

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]

Yusuf AliAnd we are verily those who declare (God's) glory

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, we are those who exalt Allah

Ali BulaçOnlar (putatapıcılar), her ne kadar şöyle diyor idiyseler de

Yusuf AliAnd there were those who said

Saheeh InternationalAnd indeed, the disbelievers used to say

Ali Bulaç”Eğer yanımızda öncekilerden bir zikir (kitap) bulunmuş olsaydı.”

Yusuf AliIf only we had had before us a Message from those of old

Saheeh InternationalIf we had a message from [those of] the former peoples

Ali Bulaç“Gerçekten bizler de, Allah’ın muhlis olan kullarından olurduk.”

Yusuf AliWe should certainly have been Servants of God, sincere (and devoted)

Saheeh InternationalWe would have been the chosen servants of Allah

Ali BulaçFakat (kitap gelince) onu tanımayıp-küfrettiler; yakında bileceklerdir

Yusuf AliBut (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know

Saheeh InternationalBut they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know

Ali BulaçAndolsun, (peygamber olarak) gönderilen kullarımıza (şu) sözümüz geçmiştir

Yusuf AliAlready has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us)

Saheeh InternationalAnd Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers

Ali BulaçGerçekten onlar, muhakkak nusret (yardım ve zafer) bulacaklardır

Yusuf AliThat they would certainly be assisted

Saheeh International[That] indeed, they would be those given victory

Ali BulaçVe hiç şüphesiz; Bizim ordularımız, üstün gelecek olanlar onlardır

Yusuf AliAnd that Our forces,- they surely must conquer

Saheeh InternationalAnd [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome

Ali BulaçÖyleyse sen, bir süreye kadar onlardan yüz çevir

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

Saheeh InternationalSo, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time

Ali BulaçVe onları seyret; (azabı) yakında göreceklerdir

Yusuf AliAnd watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

Saheeh InternationalAnd see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see

Ali BulaçŞimdi onlar, Bizim azabımızı mı acele istiyorlar

Yusuf AliDo they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment

Saheeh InternationalThen for Our punishment are they impatient

Ali BulaçFakat (azap) onların sahasına indiği zaman uyarılıp-korkutulanların sabahı ne kötü olur

Yusuf AliBut when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)

Saheeh InternationalBut when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned

Yusuf AliSo turn thou away from them for a little while

Saheeh InternationalAnd leave them for a time

Ali BulaçVe seyret; (azabı) yakında göreceklerdir

Yusuf AliAnd watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)

Saheeh InternationalAnd see, for they are going to see

Yusuf AliGlory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)

Saheeh InternationalExalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe

Saheeh InternationalAnd peace upon the messengers
