66. At-Tahrim سُورَةُ التَّحۡرِيمِ

Saheeh InternationalO Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful

Yusuf AliO Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which God has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

Ali BulaçEy Peygamber, eşlerinin hoşnutluğunu isteyerek, Allah'ın sana helal kıldıklarını niçin haram kılıyorsun? Allah, çok bağışlayandır, çok esirgeyendir

Saheeh InternationalAllah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise

Yusuf AliGod has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths (in some cases): and God is your Protector, and He is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom

Ali BulaçAllah, yeminlerinizin (keffaretle) çözülmesini size farz (veya meşru) kıldı. Allah, sizin mevlanız (sahibiniz, yardımcınız)dır. O, bilendir, hüküm ve hikmet sahibidir

Saheeh InternationalAnd [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement; and when she informed [another] of it and Allah showed it to him, he made known part of it and ignored a part. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said, "I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted

Yusuf AliWhen the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and God made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things)

Ali BulaçHani Peygamber, eşlerinden bazılarına gizli bir söz söylemişti. Derken o (eşlerinden biri), bunu haber verip Allah da ona bunu açığa vurunca, O da (Peygamber) bir kısmını açıklamış bir kısmını (söylemekten) vazgeçmişti. Sonunda haberi verince (eşi) demişti ki: "Bunu sana kim haber verdi?" O da: "Bana bilen, (herşeyden) haberdar olan (Allah) haber verdi" demişti

Saheeh InternationalIf you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him - then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants

Yusuf AliIf ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly God is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up

Ali BulaçEğer sizler (Peygamberin iki eşi) Allah'a tevbe ederseniz (ne güzel); çünkü kalpleriniz eğrilik gösterdi. Yok eğer ona karşı birbirinize destekçi olmaya kalkışırsanız, artık Allah, onun mevlasıdır; Cibril ve mü'minlerin salih olan(lar)ı da. Bunların arkasından melekler de onun destekçisidirler

Saheeh InternationalPerhaps his Lord, if he divorced you [all], would substitute for him wives better than you - submitting [to Allah], believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, and traveling - [ones] previously married and virgins

Yusuf AliIt may be, if he divorced you (all), that God will give him in exchange consorts better than you,- who submit (their wills), who believe, who are devout, who turn to God in repentance, who worship (in humility), who travel (for Faith) and fast, - previously married or virgins

Ali BulaçBelki onun Rabbi, -eğer o sizi boşayacak olursa- ona yerinize sizlerden daha hayırlı Müslüman, mü'min, gönülden itaat eden, tevbe eden, ibadet eden, oruç tutan dul ve bakire eşler' verir

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from God, but do (precisely) what the y are commanded

Ali BulaçEy iman edenler, kendinizi ve yakınlarınızı ateşten koruyun ki onun yakıtı insanlar ve taşlardır; üzerinde oldukça sert, güçlü melekler vardır. Allah kendilerine neyi emretmişse ona isyan etmezler ve emredildiklerini yerine getirirler

Saheeh InternationalO you who have disbelieved, make no excuses that Day. You will only be recompensed for what you used to do

Yusuf Ali(They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did

Ali BulaçEy inkar edenler, bugün özür beyan etmeyin. Siz ancak yaptıklarınızla cezalandırılıyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalO you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right; they will say, "Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent

Yusuf AliO ye who believe! Turn to God with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that God will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who b elieve with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things

Ali BulaçEy iman edenler, Allah'a kesin (nasuh) bir tevbe ile tevbe edin. Olabilir ki, Allah sizin kötülüklerinizi örter ve altından ırmaklar akan cennetlere sokar. O gün Allah, Peygamberi ve onunla birlikte iman edenleri küçük düşürmeyecektir. Nurları, önlerinde ve sağ yanlarında koşar-parıldar. Derler ki: "Rabbimiz nurumuzu tamamla, bizi bağışla. Saheeh InternationalO Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination

Yusuf AliO Prophet! Strive hard against the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)

Saheeh InternationalAnd Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people

Yusuf AliAnd God sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong

Saheeh InternationalAnd [the example of] Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient

Yusuf AliAnd Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants)
