83:1
وَيۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnsanlardan, kendileri bir şeyi ölçerek aldıkları zaman tam alan; ama onlara bir şeyi ölçüp tartarak verdiklerinde eksik tutan kimselerin, vay haline

Saheeh InternationalWoe to those who give less [than due]

Yusuf AliWoe to those that deal in fraud

83:2 📚 4
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnsanlardan, kendileri bir şeyi ölçerek aldıkları zaman tam alan; ama onlara bir şeyi ölçüp tartarak verdiklerinde eksik tutan kimselerin, vay haline

Saheeh InternationalWho, when they take a measure from people, take in full

Yusuf AliThose who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure

83:3 📚 3
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnsanlardan, kendileri bir şeyi ölçerek aldıkları zaman tam alan; ama onlara bir şeyi ölçüp tartarak verdiklerinde eksik tutan kimselerin, vay haline

Saheeh InternationalBut if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss

Yusuf AliBut when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due

83:4
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiBunlar, büyük bir günde tekrar dirileceklerini sanmıyorlar mı

Saheeh InternationalDo they not think that they will be resurrected

Yusuf AliDo they not think that they will be called to account

83:5
لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمࣲ‏

Diyanet İşleri MealiBunlar, büyük bir günde tekrar dirileceklerini sanmıyorlar mı

Saheeh InternationalFor a tremendous Day

Yusuf AliOn a Mighty Day

83:6 📚 1
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiO gün insanlar Alemlerin Rabbinin huzurunda dururlar

Saheeh InternationalThe Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds

Yusuf AliA Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds

83:7 📚 1
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينࣲ‏

Diyanet İşleri MealiSakının; Allah'ın buyruğundan dışarı çıkanlar, muhakkak "Siccin" adlı defterde yazılıdır

Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen

Yusuf AliDay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin

83:8
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينࣱ‏

Diyanet İşleri MealiSiccin'in ne olduğunu sen nerden bilirsin

Saheeh InternationalAnd what can make you know what is sijjeen

Yusuf AliAnd what will explain to thee what Sijjin is

83:9
كِتَٰبࣱ مَّرۡقُومࣱ‏

Diyanet İşleri MealiO, yazılmış bir kitaptır

Saheeh InternationalIt is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

Yusuf Ali(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed

83:10
وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYalanlayanların o gün vay haline

Saheeh InternationalWoe, that Day, to the deniers

Yusuf AliWoe, that Day, to those that deny

83:11
ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnlar, kıyamet gününü yalanlamış olanlardır

Saheeh InternationalWho deny the Day of Recompense

Yusuf AliThose that deny the Day of Judgment

83:12
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOysa onu mütecaviz günahkardan başka kimse yalanlamaz

Saheeh InternationalAnd none deny it except every sinful transgressor

Yusuf AliAnd none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner

83:13
إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOna ayetlerimiz okunduğu zaman "Öncekilerin masalları" der

Saheeh InternationalWhen Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples

Yusuf AliWhen Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients

83:14 📚 11
كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiHayır, hayır; onların kazandıkları kalblerini paslandırıp körletmiştir

Saheeh InternationalNo! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning

Yusuf AliBy no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do

83:15
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiHayır; doğrusu onlar o gün, Rablerinden yoksun kalacaklardır

Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned

Yusuf AliVerily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled

83:16 📚 3
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra onlar, şüphesiz, cehenneme gireceklerdir

Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire

Yusuf AliFurther, they will enter the Fire of Hell

83:17
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra da: "yalanlayıp durduğunuz işte budur" denecektir

Saheeh InternationalThen it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny

Yusuf AliFurther, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false

83:18
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAma iyilerin defteri yüksek katlardadır

Saheeh InternationalNo! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun

Yusuf AliDay, verily the record of the Righteous is (preserved) in 'Illiyin

83:19
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiO yüksek katların ne olduğunu sen bilir misin

Saheeh InternationalAnd what can make you know what is 'illiyyun

Yusuf AliAnd what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is

83:20
كِتَٰبࣱ مَّرۡقُومࣱ‏

Diyanet İşleri MealiO, gözde meleklerin gördüğü, yazılı bir kitapdır

Saheeh InternationalIt is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed

Yusuf Ali(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed

83:21
يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiO, gözde meleklerin gördüğü, yazılı bir kitapdır

Saheeh InternationalWhich is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]

Yusuf AliTo which bear witness those Nearest (to God)

83:22 📚 16
إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİyiler, şüphesiz, nimet içinde ve tahtlar üzerinde etrafı seyrederler

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

Yusuf AliTruly the Righteous will be in Bliss

83:23
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİyiler, şüphesiz, nimet içinde ve tahtlar üzerinde etrafı seyrederler

Saheeh InternationalOn adorned couches, observing

Yusuf AliOn Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a sight (of all things)

83:24 📚 3
تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnları, yüzlerindeki nimet pırıltısından tanırsın

Saheeh InternationalYou will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure

Yusuf AliThou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss

83:25 📚 4
يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقࣲ مَّخۡتُومٍ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonunda misk kokusu bırakan, ağzı kapalı saf bir içecekten içerler. İyi şeyler için yarışanlar, bunun için yarışsınlar

Saheeh InternationalThey will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed

Yusuf AliTheir thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed

83:26
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكࣱۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonunda misk kokusu bırakan, ağzı kapalı saf bir içecekten içerler. İyi şeyler için yarışanlar, bunun için yarışsınlar

Saheeh InternationalThe last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete

Yusuf AliThe seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations

83:27 📚 4
وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnun katkısı gözdelerin içtiği yüce kaynaktandır

Saheeh InternationalAnd its mixture is of Tasneem

Yusuf AliWith it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim

83:28
عَيۡنࣰ ا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnun katkısı gözdelerin içtiği yüce kaynaktandır

Saheeh InternationalA spring from which those near [to Allah] drink

Yusuf AliA spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to God

83:29 📚 1
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSuçlular, şüphesiz, inanmış olanlara gülerlerdi

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed

Yusuf AliThose in sin used to laugh at those who believed

83:30 📚 1
وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYanlarından geçtikleri zaman da birbirlerine göz kırparlardı

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances

Yusuf AliAnd whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery)

83:31 📚 1
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiTaraftarlarına vardıklarında bununla eğlenirlerdi

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they returned to their people, they would return jesting

Yusuf AliAnd when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting

83:32
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnananları gördükleri zaman: "Doğrusu bunlar sapık olanlardır" derlerdi

Saheeh InternationalAnd when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost

Yusuf AliAnd whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray

83:33
وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOysa kendileri, inananlara gözcü olarak gönderilmemişlerdi

Saheeh InternationalBut they had not been sent as guardians over them

Yusuf AliBut they had not been sent as keepers over them

83:34
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiBugün de, inananlar inkarcılara gülerler

Saheeh InternationalSo Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers

Yusuf AliBut on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers

83:35
عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiTahtlar üzerinde, inkarcıların yaptıkları şeylerin karşılığının nasıl verildiğini seyrederler

Saheeh InternationalOn adorned couches, observing

83:36
هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

Diyanet İşleri MealiTahtlar üzerinde, inkarcıların yaptıkları şeylerin karşılığının nasıl verildiğini seyrederler

Saheeh InternationalHave the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do

Yusuf AliWill not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did
