87. Al-A'laa سُورَةُ الأَعۡلَىٰ

Saheeh InternationalExalt the name of your Lord, the Most High

Saheeh InternationalWho created and proportioned

Yusuf AliWho hath created, and further, given order and proportion

Saheeh InternationalAnd who destined and [then] guided

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırTakdir edip hidayeti gösteren O'dur

Yusuf AliWho hath ordained laws. And granted guidance

Saheeh InternationalAnd who brings out the pasture

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOtlağı çıkaran

Yusuf AliAnd Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture

Saheeh InternationalAnd [then] makes it black stubble

Yusuf AliAnd then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble

Saheeh InternationalWe will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget

Yusuf AliBy degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget

Saheeh InternationalExcept what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden

Yusuf AliExcept as God wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden

Saheeh InternationalAnd We will ease you toward ease

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSeni en kolay yola muvaffak kılacağız

Yusuf AliAnd We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path)

Saheeh InternationalSo remind, if the reminder should benefit

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnun için öğüt ver, eğer öğüt fayda verirse

Yusuf AliTherefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer)

Saheeh InternationalHe who fears [Allah] will be reminded

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSaygısı olan öğüt alacaktır

Yusuf AliThe admonition will be received by those who fear (God)

Saheeh InternationalBut the wretched one will avoid it

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırPek bedbaht olan da ondan kaçınacaktır

Yusuf AliBut it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones

Saheeh International[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO ki, en büyük ateşe girecektir

Yusuf AliWho will enter the Great Fire

Saheeh InternationalNeither dying therein nor living

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra ne ölecek onda, ne de hayat bulacaktır

Yusuf AliIn which they will then neither die nor live

Saheeh InternationalHe has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDoğrusu felah buldu (günahtan) temizlenen

Yusuf AliBut those will prosper who purify themselves

Saheeh InternationalAnd mentions the name of his Lord and prays

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırRabbinin adını anıp namaz kılan

Yusuf AliAnd glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer

Saheeh InternationalBut you prefer the worldly life

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat siz dünya hayatını tercih ediyorsunuz

Yusuf AliDay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world

Saheeh InternationalWhile the Hereafter is better and more enduring

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOysa ahiret daha hayırlı ve daha kalıcıdır

Yusuf AliBut the Hereafter is better and more enduring

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, this is in the former scriptures
