88. Al-Ghaashiya سُورَةُ الغَاشِيَةِ
Saheeh InternationalHas there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]

Yusuf AliHas the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)
«هل» قد «أتاك حديث الغاشية» القيامة لأنها تغشى الخلائق بأهوالها.
Saheeh International[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled
Ali BulaçO gün, öyle yüzler vardır ki, 'zillet içinde aşağılanmıştır
Yusuf AliSome faces, that Day, will be humiliated
«وجوه يومئذٍ» عبر بها عن الذوات في الموضوعين «خاشعة» ذليلة.
Saheeh InternationalWorking [hard] and exhausted
Ali BulaçÇalışmış, boşuna yorulmuştur
Yusuf AliLabouring (hard), weary
«عاملة ناصبة» ذات نصب وتعب بالسلاسل والأغلال.
Saheeh InternationalThey will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire
Ali BulaçKızgın bir ateşe yollanırlar
Yusuf AliThe while they enter the Blazing Fire
«تصلى» بفتح التاء وضمها «نارا حامية».
Saheeh InternationalThey will be given drink from a boiling spring
Ali BulaçKaynar bir kaynaktan içirilirler
Yusuf AliThe while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring
«تسقى من عين آنية» شديدة الحرارة.
Saheeh InternationalFor them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
Ali BulaçOnlar için (zehirli olan) dari' dikeninden başka bir yiyecek yoktur
Yusuf AliNo food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari
«ليس لهم طعام إلا من ضريع» هو نوع من الشوك لا ترعاه دابة لخبثه.
Saheeh InternationalWhich neither nourishes nor avails against hunger
Ali BulaçNe doyurup-semirtir, ne açlıktan korur
Yusuf AliWhich will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger
«لا يسمن ولا يغني من جوع».
Saheeh International[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure
Ali BulaçO gün, öyle yüzler de vardır ki, nimette (engin bir mutluluk içinde)dirler
Yusuf Ali(Other) faces that Day will be joyful
«وجوه يومئذ ناعمة» حسنة.
Saheeh InternationalWith their effort [they are] satisfied
Ali BulaçHarcadığı-çabadan dolayı hoşnuttur
Yusuf AliPleased with their striving
«لسعيها» في الدنيا بالطاعة «راضية» في الآخرة لما رأت ثوابه.
Saheeh InternationalIn an elevated garden
Ali BulaçYüksek bir cennettedir
Yusuf AliIn a Garden on high
«في جنة عالية» حسا ومعنى.
Saheeh InternationalWherein they will hear no unsuitable speech
Ali BulaçOrda anlamsız bir söz işitmez
Yusuf AliWhere they shall hear no (word) of vanity
«لا يسمع» بالياء والتاء «فيها لاغية» أي نفس ذات لغوٍ: هذيان من الكلام.
Saheeh InternationalWithin it is a flowing spring
Ali BulaçOrda 'durmaksızın akan' bir kaynak vardır
Yusuf AliTherein will be a bubbling spring
«فيها عين جارية» بالماء بمعنى عيون.
Saheeh InternationalWithin it are couches raised high
Ali BulaçOrda 'yükseklerde kurulmuş, tahtlar da vardır
Yusuf AliTherein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high
«فيها سرر مرفوعة» ذاتا وقدرا ومحلا.
Saheeh InternationalAnd cups put in place
Ali BulaçKonulmuş (içecek dolu) kaplar
Yusuf AliGoblets placed (ready)
«وأكواب» أقداح لا عرى لها «موضوعة» على حافات العيون معدة لشربهم.
Saheeh InternationalAnd cushions lined up
Ali BulaçDizi dizi yastıklar
Yusuf AliAnd cushions set in rows
«ونمارق» وسائد «مصفوفة» بعضها بجنب بعض يستند إليها.
Saheeh InternationalAnd carpets spread around
Ali BulaçVe serilmiş yaygılar
Yusuf AliAnd rich carpets (all) spread out
«وزرابيُّ» بسط طنافس لها خمل «مبثوثة» مبسوطة.
Saheeh InternationalThen do they not look at the camels - how they are created
Ali BulaçBakmıyorlar mı o deveye; nasıl yaratıldı
Yusuf AliDo they not look at the Camels, how they are made
«أفلا ينظرون» أي كفار مكة نظر اعتبار «إلى الإبل كيف خُلقت».

Ali BulaçGöğe, nasıl yükseltildi
Yusuf AliAnd at the Sky, how it is raised high
«وإلى السماء كيف رُفعت».
Saheeh InternationalAnd at the mountains - how they are erected
Ali BulaçDağlara; nasıl oturtulup-kuruldu
Yusuf AliAnd at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm
«وإلى الجبال كيف نُصبت».
Saheeh InternationalAnd at the earth - how it is spread out
Ali BulaçYere; nasıl yayılıp-döşendi
Yusuf AliAnd at the Earth, how it is spread out
«وإلى الأرض كيف سُطحت» أي بسطت، فيستدلون بها على قدرة الله تعالى ووحدانيته، وصدرت بالإبل لأنهم أشد ملابسة لها من غيرها، وقوله: سُطحت ظاهر في الأرض سطح، وعليه علماء الشرع، لا كرة كما قاله أهل الهيئة وإن لم ينقض ركنا من أركان الشرع.
Saheeh InternationalSo remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder
Ali BulaçArtık sen, öğüt verip-hatırlat. Sen, yalnızca bir öğüt verici-bir hatırlatıcısın
Yusuf AliTherefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish
«فذكر» ـهم نعم الله ودلائل توحيده «إنما أنت مذكر».
Saheeh InternationalYou are not over them a controller
Ali BulaçOnlara 'zor ve baskı' kullanacak değilsin
Yusuf AliThou art not one to manage (men's) affairs
«لست عليهم بمصيطر» وفي قراءة بالسين بدل الصاد، أي بمسلط وهذا قبل الأمر بالجهاد.
Saheeh InternationalHowever, he who turns away and disbelieves
Ali BulaçAncak kim yüz çevirir ve inkar ederse
Yusuf AliBut if any turn away and reject God
«إلا» لكن «من تولى» أعرض عن الإيمان «وكفر» بالقرآن.
Saheeh InternationalThen Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment
Ali BulaçAllah, onu en büyük azap ile azaplandırır
Yusuf AliGod will punish him with a mighty Punishment
«فيعَذِّبه الله العذاب الأكبر» عذاب الآخرة والأصغر عذاب الدنيا بالقتل والأسر.
Saheeh InternationalIndeed, to Us is their return
Ali BulaçŞüphesiz onların dönüşleri Bizedir
Yusuf AliFor to Us will be their return
«إن إلينا إيابهم» رجوعهم بعد الموت.
Saheeh InternationalThen indeed, upon Us is their account
Ali BulaçSonra onları hesaba çekmek de elbette Bize aittir
Yusuf AliThen it will be for Us to call them to account
«ثم إن علينا حسابهم» جزاءهم لا نتركه أبدا.
