8. Al-Anfaal سُورَةُ الأَنفَالِ

Yusuf AliThey ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of God and the Apostle: So fear God, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey God and His Apostle, if ye do believe

Yusuf AliO ye that believe! betray not the trust of God and the Apostle, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you

Yusuf AliAnd know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is God with Whom lies your highest reward

Yusuf AliIn order that God may separate the impure from the pure, put the impure, one on another, heap them together, and cast them into Hell. They will be the ones to have lost

Yusuf AliAnd fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily God doth see all that they do

Yusuf AliAnd know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to God,- and to the Apostle, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in God and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For God hath power over all things

Ali BulaçBilin ki, 'ganimet olarak ele geçirdiğiniz' şeylerin beşte biri, muhakkak Allah'ın, Resûlün, yakınların, yetimlerin, yoksulların ve yolcunundur. Eğer Allah'a, hak ile batılın birbirinden ayrıldığı gün, iki ordunun karşı karşıya geldiği günde (Bedir'de) kulumuza indirdiğimize iman ediyorsanız (ganimeti böyle bölüşün). Yusuf AliRemember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), t hat God might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily God is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)

Ali BulaçHani siz vadinin yakın kenarında, onlar uzak yamacındaydılar; kervan ise sizden daha aşağıdaydı. Yusuf AliRemember in thy dream God showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but God saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts

Yusuf AliAnd remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that God might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to God do all questions go back (for decision)

Yusuf AliAnd be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of God: For God compasseth round about all that they do

Ali BulaçBir de yurtlarından refahtan şımarıp-azıtarak, insanlara gösteriş yaparak çıkanlar ve (halkı) Allah'ın yolundan alıkoyanlar gibi olmayın. Allah, onların yaptıklarını çepeçevre kuşatandır

Yusuf AliRemember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am cle ar of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear God: for God is strict in punishment

Ali BulaçO zaman şeytan onlara amellerini çekici göstermiş ve onlara: "Bugün sizi insanlardan bozguna uğratacak kimse yoktur ve ben de sizin yardımcınızım" demişti. Yusuf AliLo! the hypocrites say, and those in whose hearts is a disease: "These people,- their religion has misled them." But if any trust in God, behold! God is Exalted in might, Wise

Yusuf AliIf thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire

Yusuf AliBecause of (the deeds) which your (own) hands sent forth; for God is never unjust to His servants

Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of God, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly

Ali BulaçOnlara karşı gücünüzün yettiği kadar kuvvet ve besili atlar hazırlayın. Yusuf AliBut if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things)

Yusuf AliThe Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other), there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief
