وَٱ ل نّ َجْ مِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
وَٱلنَّجْمِ
yıldıza andolsun
Yusuf Ali By the Star when it goes down
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ
Yusuf Ali Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled
وَمَا يَنط ِقُ عَنِ ٱ لْهَوَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌ ي ُوحَىٰ
يُوحَىٰ
kendisine vahyedilen
Yusuf Ali It is no less than inspiration sent down to him
عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱ لْقُوَىٰ
Yusuf Ali He was taught by one Mighty in Power
ذُو مِرَّةٍ ف َٱ سْتَوَىٰ
Yusuf Ali Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form)
وَهُوَ بِٱ لْأُفُقِ ٱ لْأَعْلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali While he was in the highest part of the horizon
ثُمّ َ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali Then he approached and came closer
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْ نَىٰ
Yusuf Ali And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer
فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبْ دِهِۦ مَآ أَوْحَىٰ
فَأَوْحَىٰٓ
sonra vahyetti
Yusuf Ali So did (God) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey
53:11 ▶ ⧉ ☆
مَا كَذَبَ ٱ لْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali The (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw
53:12 ▶ ⧉ ☆
أَفَتُمَـٰ رُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ
أَفَتُمَـٰرُونَهُۥ
kuşku mu duyuyorsunuz?
Yusuf Ali Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw
53:13 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali For indeed he saw him at a second descent
عِند َ سِدْ رَةِ ٱ لْمُنت َهَىٰ
Yusuf Ali Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass
عِند َهَا جَنّ َةُ ٱ لْمَأْوَىٰٓ
عِندَهَا
(ki) onun yanındadır
ٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ
Me'vâ (oturulacak)
Yusuf Ali Near it is the Garden of Abode
إِذْ يَغْشَى ٱ ل سِّدْ رَةَ مَا يَغْشَىٰ
Yusuf Ali Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable)
مَا زَاغَ ٱ لْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong
53:18 ▶ ⧉ ☆
لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ ءَايَـٰ تِ رَبِّهِ ٱ لْكُبْ رَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest
53:19 ▶ ⧉ ☆
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱ ل لَّـٰ تَ وَٱ لْعُزَّىٰ
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ
gördünüz mü?
Yusuf Ali Have ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza
وَمَنَو ٲ ةَ ٱ ل ثَّالِثَةَ ٱ لْأُخْرَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali And another, the third (goddess), Manat
أَلَكُمُ ٱ ل ذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱ لْأُنث َىٰ
Yusuf Ali What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female
53:22 ▶ ⧉ ☆
تِلْكَ إِذًا ق ِسْمَةٌ ض ِيزَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّآ أَسْمَا ٓءٌ س َمّ َيْتُمُوهَآ أَنت ُمْ وَءَابَا ٓؤُكُم م َّآ أَنز َلَ ٱ للَّهُ بِهَا مِن س ُلْطَـٰ نٍۚ إِن ي َتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱ ل ظَّنّ َ وَمَا تَهْوَى ٱ لْأَنف ُسُۖ وَلَقَدْ جَا ٓءَهُم م ِّن ر َّبِّهِمُ ٱ لْهُدَىٰٓ
سَمَّيْتُمُوهَآ
isimlendirdiğiniz
وَءَابَآؤُكُم
ve babalarınızın
أَنزَلَ
has Allah sent down
يَتَّبِعُونَ
onlar uyuyorlar
جَآءَهُم
kendilerine gelmiştir
Yusuf Ali These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which God has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guid ance from their Lord
53:24 ▶ ⧉ ☆
أَمْ لِلْإِنس َـٰ نِ مَا تَمَنّ َىٰ
لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ
insan için midir?
Yusuf Ali Nay, shall man have (just) anything he hankers after
فَلِلَّهِ ٱ لْأَخِرَةُ وَٱ لْأُولَىٰ
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ
son (ahiret)
وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
ve ilk (dünya)
Yusuf Ali But it is to God that the End and the Beginning (of all things) belong
53:26 ▶ ⧉ ☆
۞ وَكَم م ِّن م َّلَكٍ ف ِى ٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وَٲ تِ لَا تُغْنِى شَفَـٰ عَتُهُمْ شَيْــًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ ب َعْدِ أَن ي َأْذَنَ ٱ للَّهُ لِمَن ي َشَا ٓءُ وَيَرْضَىٰٓ
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ
onların şefa'ati
يَأْذَنَ
Allah has given permission
وَيَرْضَىٰٓ
ve razı olduğu
Yusuf Ali How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after God has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him
53:27 ▶ ⧉ ☆
إِنّ َ ٱ لَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱ لْأَخِرَةِ لَيُسَمّ ُونَ ٱ لْمَلَـٰٓ ئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ ٱ لْأُنث َىٰ
لَيُسَمُّونَ
adlandırıyorlar
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ
meleklere
Yusuf Ali Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names
وَمَا لَهُم ب ِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍۖ إِن ي َتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱ ل ظَّنّ َۖ وَإِنّ َ ٱ ل ظَّنّ َ لَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱ لْحَقِّ شَيْــًٔا
يَتَّبِعُونَ
onlar uyuyorlar
Yusuf Ali But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth
فَأَعْرِضْ عَن م َّن ت َوَلَّىٰ عَن ذ ِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱ لْحَيَو ٲ ةَ ٱ ل دُّنْيَا
فَأَعْرِضْ
o halde yüz çevir
Yusuf Ali Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world
ذَٲ لِكَ مَبْ لَغُهُم م ِّنَ ٱ لْعِلْمِۚ إِنّ َ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ض َلَّ عَن س َبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱ هْتَدَىٰ
مَبْلَغُهُم
onların erişebilecekleri
Yusuf Ali That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱ ل سَّمَـٰ وَٲ تِ وَمَا فِى ٱ لْأَرْضِ لِيَجْ زِىَ ٱ لَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـ ــُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجْ زِىَ ٱ لَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ بِٱ لْحُسْنَى
لِيَجْزِىَ
cezalandırsın diye
أَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟
kötülük eden(leri)
وَيَجْزِىَ
ve mükafatlandırsın diye
أَحْسَنُوا۟
güzel davranan(ları)
Yusuf Ali Yea, to God belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجْ تَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓ ئِرَ ٱ لْإِثْمِ وَٱ لْفَوَٲ حِشَ إِلَّا ٱ ل لَّمَمَۚ إِنّ َ رَبَّكَ وَٲ سِعُ ٱ لْمَغْفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ إِذْ أَنش َأَكُم م ِّنَ ٱ لْأَرْضِ وَإِذْ أَنت ُمْ أَجِنّ َةٌ ف ِى بُطُونِ أُمّ َهَـٰ تِكُمْۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓ اْ أَنف ُسَكُمْۖ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱ تَّقَىٰٓ
وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ
ve çirkin işlerden
أَنشَأَكُم
sizi inşa ettiği
أَجِنَّةٌۭ
cenin halinde iken
أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ ۖ
annelerinizin
تُزَكُّوٓا۟
övüp yüceltmeyin
Yusuf Ali Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil
53:33 ▶ ⧉ ☆
أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱ لَّذِى تَوَلَّىٰ
Yusuf Ali Seest thou one who turns back
53:34 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلاً و َأَكْدَىٰٓ
وَأَكْدَىٰٓ
ve gerisini elinde tutanı
Yusuf Ali Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)
أَعِند َهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱ لْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ
أَعِندَهُۥ
kendi yanında mı?
Yusuf Ali What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see
أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِى صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ
Yusuf Ali Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses
53:37 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَإِبْ رَٲ هِيمَ ٱ لَّذِى وَفَّىٰٓ
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
ve İbrahim'in
Yusuf Ali And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements
أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ و ِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ
وَازِرَةٌۭ
hiçbir günahkar
Yusuf Ali Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another
53:39 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَأَن ل َّيْسَ لِلْإِنس َـٰ نِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That man can have nothing but what he strives for
وَأَنّ َ سَعْيَهُۥ سَوْفَ يُرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight
53:41 ▶ ⧉ ☆
ثُمّ َ يُجْ زَٮٰ هُ ٱ لْجَزَا ٓءَ ٱ لْأَوْفَىٰ
يُجْزَىٰهُ
ona verilecektir
Yusuf Ali Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete
وَأَنّ َ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱ لْمُنت َهَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That to thy Lord is the final Goal
وَأَنّ َهُۥ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْ كَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears
وَأَنّ َهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا
Yusuf Ali That it is He Who granteth Death and Life
وَأَنّ َهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱ ل زَّوْجَيْنِ ٱ ل ذَّكَرَ وَٱ لْأُنث َىٰ
Yusuf Ali That He did create in pairs,- male and female
مِن ن ُّطْ فَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَىٰ
Yusuf Ali From a seed when lodged (in its place)
وَأَنّ َ عَلَيْهِ ٱ ل نّ َشْأَةَ ٱ لْأُخْرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead)
وَأَنّ َهُۥ هُوَ أَغْنَىٰ وَأَقْ نَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction
وَأَنّ َهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱ ل شِّعْرَىٰ
Yusuf Ali That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star)
وَأَنّ َهُۥٓ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا ٱ لْأُولَىٰ
Yusuf Ali And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people)
53:51 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبْ قَىٰ
Yusuf Ali And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life
53:52 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ م ِّن ق َبْ لُۖ إِنّ َهُمْ كَانُواْ هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْ غَىٰ
وَقَوْمَ
ve kavmini (helak etmişti)
Yusuf Ali And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors
53:53 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَٱ لْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ
altı üstüne getirilen kentleri
Yusuf Ali And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah)
53:54 ▶ ⧉ ☆
فَغَشَّـٰ هَا مَا غَشَّىٰ
فَغَشَّىٰهَا
sardırttı onlara
Yusuf Ali So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up
53:55 ▶ ⧉ ☆
فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَا ٓءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ
تَتَمَارَىٰ
kuşku duyuyorsun
Yusuf Ali Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about
هَـٰ ذَا نَذِيرٌ م ِّنَ ٱ ل نّ ُذُرِ ٱ لْأُولَىٰٓ
Yusuf Ali This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old
53:57 ▶ ⧉ ☆
أَزِفَتِ ٱ لْأَزِفَةُ
Yusuf Ali The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh
لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن د ُونِ ٱ للَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ
Yusuf Ali No (soul) but God can lay it bare
أَفَمِنْ هَـٰ ذَا ٱ لْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُو نَ
Yusuf Ali Do ye then wonder at this recital
وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْ كُو نَ
وَتَضْحَكُونَ
ve gülüyorsunuz
Yusuf Ali And will ye laugh and not weep
53:61 ▶ ⧉ ☆
وَأَنت ُمْ سَـٰ مِدُو نَ
سَـٰمِدُونَ
baş kaldırıyorsunuz
Yusuf Ali Wasting your time in vanities
فَٱ سْجُدُواْ لِلَّهِ وَٱ عْبُدُواْ ۩
فَٱسْجُدُوا۟
haydi secde edin
وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ۩
ve kulluk edin
Yusuf Ali But fall ye down in prostration to God, and adore (Him)
