53:1 📚 12

وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiBatmakta olan yıldıza and olsun ki

Yusuf AliBy the Star when it goes down

Saheeh InternationalBy the star when it descends

53:2 📚 2

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiArkadaşınız (Muhammed) sapmamış ve azmamıştır

Yusuf AliYour Companion is neither astray nor being misled

Saheeh InternationalYour companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred

53:3 📚 13

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiO, kendiliğinden konuşmamaktadır

Yusuf AliNor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire

Saheeh InternationalNor does he speak from [his own] inclination

53:4 📚 10

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيࣱ يُوحَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnun konuşması ancak, bildirilen bir vahy iledir

Yusuf AliIt is no less than inspiration sent down to him

Saheeh InternationalIt is not but a revelation revealed

53:5 📚 2

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOna, çetin kuvvetlere sahip ve güçlü olan Cebrail öğretmiştir; en yüksek ufukta iken doğruluvermiş

Yusuf AliHe was taught by one Mighty in Power

Saheeh InternationalTaught to him by one intense in strength

53:6 📚 1

ذُو مِرَّةࣲ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOna, çetin kuvvetlere sahip ve güçlü olan Cebrail öğretmiştir; en yüksek ufukta iken doğruluvermiş

Yusuf AliEndued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form)

Saheeh InternationalOne of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form

53:7 📚 1

وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOna, çetin kuvvetlere sahip ve güçlü olan Cebrail öğretmiştir; en yüksek ufukta iken doğruluvermiş

Yusuf AliWhile he was in the highest part of the horizon

Saheeh InternationalWhile he was in the higher [part of the] horizon

53:8 📚 5

ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra yaklaşmış ve inmiştir

Yusuf AliThen he approached and came closer

Saheeh InternationalThen he approached and descended

53:9 📚 6

فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAraları iki yay aralığı kadar veya daha da yakın oldu

Yusuf AliAnd was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer

Saheeh InternationalAnd was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer

53:10 📚 4

فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah o anda kuluna vahyedeceğini etti

Yusuf AliSo did (God) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey

Saheeh InternationalAnd he revealed to His Servant what he revealed

53:11

مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiGözünün gördüğünü gönlü yalanlamadı

Yusuf AliThe (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw

Saheeh InternationalThe heart did not lie [about] what it saw

53:12

أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inkarcılar! Onun gördüğü şey hakkında kendisi ile tartışır mısınız

Yusuf AliWill ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw

Saheeh InternationalSo will you dispute with him over what he saw

53:13

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki o, Cebrail'i sınırın sonunda başka bir inişinde de görmüştür

Yusuf AliFor indeed he saw him at a second descent

Saheeh InternationalAnd he certainly saw him in another descent

53:14 📚 5

عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki o, Cebrail'i sınırın sonunda başka bir inişinde de görmüştür

Yusuf AliNear the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass

Saheeh InternationalAt the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary

53:15 📚 2

عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOrada Me'va cenneti vardır

Yusuf AliNear it is the Garden of Abode

Saheeh InternationalNear it is the Garden of Refuge

53:16 📚 5

إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSidre'yi bürüyen bürüyordu

Yusuf AliBehold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable)

Saheeh InternationalWhen there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]

53:17 📚 10

مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiGözü oradan ne kaydı ve ne de onu aştı

Yusuf Ali(His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong

Saheeh InternationalThe sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]

53:18

لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAnd olsun ki Rabbinin varlığının büyük delillerini gördü

Yusuf AliFor truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest

Saheeh InternationalHe certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord

53:19

أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inkarcılar! Şimdi Lat, Uzza ve bundan başka üçüncüleri olan Menat'ın ne olduğunu söyler misiniz

Yusuf AliHave ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza

Saheeh InternationalSo have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza

53:20 📚 3

وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiEy inkarcılar! Şimdi Lat, Uzza ve bundan başka üçüncüleri olan Menat'ın ne olduğunu söyler misiniz

Yusuf AliAnd another, the third (goddess), Manat

Saheeh InternationalAnd Manat, the third - the other one

53:21 📚 1

أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDemek erkekler sizin, dişiler Allah'ın mı

Yusuf AliWhat! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female

Saheeh InternationalIs the male for you and for Him the female

53:22

تِلۡكَ إِذࣰ ا قِسۡمَةࣱ ضِيزَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiÖyleyse bu haksız bir paylaşma

Yusuf AliBehold, such would be indeed a division most unfair

Saheeh InternationalThat, then, is an unjust division

53:23 📚 1

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءࣱ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiBunlar sizin ve babalarınızın taktığı adlardan başka bir şey değildir. Allah onları destekleyen bir delil indirmemiştir. Onlar sadece sanıya ve canlarının istediğine uymaktadırlar. Oysa onlara Rablerinden and olsun ki doğruluk rehberi gelmiştir

Yusuf AliThese are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which God has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guid ance from their Lord

Saheeh InternationalThey are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance

53:24

أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYoksa, her umduğu şey insanın mıdır

Yusuf AliNay, shall man have (just) anything he hankers after

Saheeh InternationalOr is there for man whatever he wishes

53:25 📚 3

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiHayatın ilki de sonu da Allah'ındır

Yusuf AliBut it is to God that the End and the Beginning (of all things) belong

Saheeh InternationalRather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]

53:26

۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكࣲ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiAllah, dilediğine ve hoşnut olduğuna izin vermedikçe, göklerde bulunan nice meleklerin şefaati bir şeye yaramaz

Yusuf AliHow many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after God has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him

Saheeh InternationalAnd how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will not avail at all except [only] after Allah has permitted [it] to whom He wills and approves

53:27

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu ahirete inanmayanlar, meleklere "dişi" adını takarlar

Yusuf AliThose who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names

53:28 📚 2

وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا

Diyanet İşleri MealiOysa onların bu hususta bir bilgileri yoktur, sadece sanıya uyarlar. Sanı ise şüphesiz gerçeği ifade etmez

Yusuf AliBut they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth

Saheeh InternationalAnd they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all

53:29 📚 9

فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

Diyanet İşleri MealiBizi anmaktan yüz çevirenlere ve dünya hayatından başka bir şey istemeyenlere aldırma

Yusuf AliTherefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world

Saheeh InternationalSo turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life

53:30 📚 1

ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiBu onların ulaştıkları bilginin seviyesini gösterir. Doğrusu Rabbin yolundan sapmış olanı pek iyi bilir, doğru yolda olanı da çok iyi bilir

Yusuf AliThat is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance

Saheeh InternationalThat is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided

53:31 📚 3

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَى

Diyanet İşleri MealiGöklerde olanlar ve yerde olanlar Allah'ındır ki O, kötülük yapanlara işlerinin karşılığını verir; iyi davrananlara, ufak tefek kabahatleri bir yana büyük günahlardan ve hayasızlıklardan kaçınanlara işlediklerinden daha iyisiyle karşılığını verir. Doğrusu Rabbinin bağışı boldur. Sizi yerden var ederken ve siz annelerinizin karınlarında cenin halinde iken sizleri çok iyi bilen O'dur. Kendinizi temize çıkarmayın. O, sakınanı çok iyi bilir

Yusuf AliYea, to God belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best

Saheeh InternationalAnd to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward]

53:32 📚 9

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةࣱ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Yusuf AliThose who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil

Saheeh InternationalThose who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him

53:33

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYüz çevireni ve malından biraz verip sonra vermemekte direneni gördün mü

Yusuf AliSeest thou one who turns back

Saheeh InternationalHave you seen the one who turned away

53:34

وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلࣰ ا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYüz çevireni ve malından biraz verip sonra vermemekte direneni gördün mü

Yusuf AliGives a little, then hardens (his heart)

Saheeh InternationalAnd gave a little and [then] refrained

53:35 📚 2

أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiGörülmeyenin ilmi yanında da o mu görüyor

Yusuf AliWhat! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see

Saheeh InternationalDoes he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees

53:36 📚 4

أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYoksa Musa'nın ve sözünü yerine getiren İbrahim'in kitablarında olanlar kendisine bildirilmedi mi ki

Yusuf AliNay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses

Saheeh InternationalOr has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

53:37

وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ

Diyanet İşleri MealiYoksa Musa'nın ve sözünü yerine getiren İbrahim'in kitablarında olanlar kendisine bildirilmedi mi ki

Yusuf AliAnd of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements

Saheeh InternationalAnd [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]

53:38 📚 3

أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiHiç bir günahkar başkasının günah yükünü yüklenmez

Yusuf AliNamely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another

Saheeh InternationalThat no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another

53:39

وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİnsan ancak çalıştığına erişir

Yusuf AliThat man can have nothing but what he strives for

Saheeh InternationalAnd that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

53:40 📚 3

وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiOnun çalışması şüphesiz görülecektir

Yusuf AliThat (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight

Saheeh InternationalAnd that his effort is going to be seen

53:41

ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiSonra ona karşılığı eksiksiz verilecektir

Yusuf AliThen will he be rewarded with a reward complete

Saheeh InternationalThen he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense

53:42 📚 3

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu son varış Rabbinedir

Yusuf AliThat to thy Lord is the final Goal

Saheeh InternationalAnd that to your Lord is the finality

53:43 📚 3

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu, güldüren de ağlatan da O'dur

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

53:44 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu dirilten de öldüren de O'dur

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who granteth Death and Life

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who causes death and gives life

53:45 📚 1

وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu, atıldığında meniden erkek ve dişiyi, iki çifti yaratan O'dur

Yusuf AliThat He did create in pairs,- male and female

Saheeh InternationalAnd that He creates the two mates - the male and female

53:46 📚 1

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu, atıldığında meniden erkek ve dişiyi, iki çifti yaratan O'dur

Yusuf AliFrom a seed when lodged (in its place)

Saheeh InternationalFrom a sperm-drop when it is emitted

53:47 📚 1

وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu ölümden sonra tekrar dirilten de O'dur

Yusuf AliThat He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

53:48 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu zengin eden de varlıklı kılan da O'dur

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who enriches and suffices

53:49 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri MealiDoğrusu Şira yıldızının Rabbi O'dur

Yusuf AliThat He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

53:50 📚 1

وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

Diyanet İşleri Mealiİlk Ad milletini, Semud milletini yok edip geri bırakmayan O'dur

Yusuf AliAnd that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad
