53:1 📚 12

وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

Süleyman AteşAşağı kayan yıldıza andolsun ki

Yusuf AliBy the Star when it goes down

Saheeh InternationalBy the star when it descends

53:2 📚 2

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

Süleyman AteşArkadaşınız sapmadı, azmadı

Yusuf AliYour Companion is neither astray nor being misled

Saheeh InternationalYour companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred

53:3 📚 13

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşO heva'dan konuşmaz

Yusuf AliNor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire

Saheeh InternationalNor does he speak from [his own] inclination

53:4 📚 10

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيࣱ يُوحَىٰ

Süleyman AteşO(nun okuduğu Kur'an) kendisine vahyedilen vahiyden başka bir şey değildir

Yusuf AliIt is no less than inspiration sent down to him

Saheeh InternationalIt is not but a revelation revealed

53:5 📚 2

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ

Süleyman AteşOnu, mühtiş kuvvetleri olan biri öğretti

Yusuf AliHe was taught by one Mighty in Power

Saheeh InternationalTaught to him by one intense in strength

53:6 📚 1

ذُو مِرَّةࣲ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ

Süleyman AteşÜstün akıl sahibi (melek). Doğruldu

Yusuf AliEndued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form)

Saheeh InternationalOne of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form

53:7 📚 1

وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

Süleyman AteşKendisi yüksek ufukta iken

Yusuf AliWhile he was in the highest part of the horizon

Saheeh InternationalWhile he was in the higher [part of the] horizon

53:8 📚 5

ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ

Süleyman AteşSonra yaklaştı, (yere doğru) sarktı

Yusuf AliThen he approached and came closer

Saheeh InternationalThen he approached and descended

53:9 📚 6

فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ

Süleyman Ateş(Muhammed ile arasındaki mesafe) İki yay uzunluğu kadar, yahut daha az kaldı

Yusuf AliAnd was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer

Saheeh InternationalAnd was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer

53:10 📚 4

فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰ

Süleyman AteşKuluna, vahyettiğini vahyetti

Yusuf AliSo did (God) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey

Saheeh InternationalAnd he revealed to His Servant what he revealed

53:11

مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşGönül gördüğünde yanılmadı (yalan söylemedi, gerçeği gördü)

Yusuf AliThe (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw

Saheeh InternationalThe heart did not lie [about] what it saw

53:12

أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

Süleyman AteşOnun gördüğünden kuşku mu duyuyorsunuz

Yusuf AliWill ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw

Saheeh InternationalSo will you dispute with him over what he saw

53:13

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰ

Süleyman AteşAndolsun, onu bir inişinde daha görmüştü

Yusuf AliFor indeed he saw him at a second descent

Saheeh InternationalAnd he certainly saw him in another descent

53:14 📚 5

عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Süleyman AteşSidretü'l-Münteha(uzak ağaç)ın yanında

Yusuf AliNear the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass

Saheeh InternationalAt the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary

53:15 📚 2

عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşKi onun yanında oturulacak bahçe vardır

Yusuf AliNear it is the Garden of Abode

Saheeh InternationalNear it is the Garden of Refuge

53:16 📚 5

إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ

Süleyman AteşSidre'yi kaplayan kaplıyordu

Yusuf AliBehold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable)

Saheeh InternationalWhen there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]

53:17 📚 10

مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

Süleyman Ateş(Muhammed'in) Göz(ü) şaşmadı ve azmadı

Yusuf Ali(His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong

Saheeh InternationalThe sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]

53:18

لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşAndolsun, Rabbinin büyük ayetlerinden bazılarını gördü

Yusuf AliFor truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest

Saheeh InternationalHe certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord

53:19

أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ

Süleyman AteşGördünüz mü o Lat ve 'Uzza'yı

Yusuf AliHave ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza

Saheeh InternationalSo have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza

53:20 📚 3

وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşVe üçüncü(leri olan) öteki (put) Menat'ı

Yusuf AliAnd another, the third (goddess), Manat

Saheeh InternationalAnd Manat, the third - the other one

53:21 📚 1

أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Süleyman AteşDemek erkek size, kadın Allah'a mı

Yusuf AliWhat! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female

Saheeh InternationalIs the male for you and for Him the female

53:22

تِلۡكَ إِذࣰ ا قِسۡمَةࣱ ضِيزَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşO halde bu insafsızca bir taksim

Yusuf AliBehold, such would be indeed a division most unfair

Saheeh InternationalThat, then, is an unjust division

53:23 📚 1

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءࣱ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşOnlar, sizin ve babalarınızın, (tanrı) diye isimlendirdiğiniz (boş, kavramsız) isimlerden başka bir şey değildir. Allah, onlara hiçbir güç (tanrı oldukları hakkında hiçbir delil) indirmemiştir. O(putlara tapa)nlar zanna ve nefislerin hevesine uyuyorlar. Oysa kendilerine, Rableri tarafından yol gösterici gelmiştir

Yusuf AliThese are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which God has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guid ance from their Lord

Saheeh InternationalThey are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance

53:24

أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ

Süleyman AteşYoksa insan, her arzu ettiğine sahip mi olacaktır

Yusuf AliNay, shall man have (just) anything he hankers after

Saheeh InternationalOr is there for man whatever he wishes

53:25 📚 3

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ

Süleyman AteşSon da ilk de (ahiret de, dünya da) Allah'ındır

Yusuf AliBut it is to God that the End and the Beginning (of all things) belong

Saheeh InternationalRather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]

53:26

۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكࣲ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşGöklerde nice melek var ki onların şefa'ati hiçbir işe yaramaz. Meğer Allah'ın dilediği ve razı olduğu kimseye izin verdikten sonra olsun (ancak o zaman şefa'atin faydası olur)

Yusuf AliHow many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after God has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him

Saheeh InternationalAnd how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will not avail at all except [only] after Allah has permitted [it] to whom He wills and approves

53:27

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Süleyman AteşAhirete inanmayanlar, meleklere dişilerin adlarını takıyorlar

Yusuf AliThose who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names

53:28 📚 2

وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا

Süleyman AteşOnların bu hususta bir bilgileri yoktur. Sadece zanna uyuyorlar. Zan ise haktan hiçbir gerçek kazandırmaz. (Zan ile gerçeğe ulaşılmaz)

Yusuf AliBut they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth

Saheeh InternationalAnd they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all

53:29 📚 9

فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

Süleyman AteşBizi anmaktan yüz çeviren ve dünya hayatından başka bir şey istemeyen kimseden yüz çevir

Yusuf AliTherefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world

Saheeh InternationalSo turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life

53:30 📚 1

ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ

Süleyman Ateşİşte onların erişebilecekleri bilgi (sınırı) budur. (Bundan ötesine akılları ermez). Şüphesiz Rabbin, yolundan sapanı da iyi bilir ve O, yola geleni de iyi bilir

Yusuf AliThat is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance

Saheeh InternationalThat is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided

53:31 📚 3

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَٰٓـُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَى

Süleyman AteşGöklerde ve yerde bulunan herşey Allah'ındır. (Bunları yaratmıştır) Ki kötülük edenleri, yaptıklarıyle cezalandırsın, güzel davrananları da güzellikle mükafatlandırsın

Yusuf AliYea, to God belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best

Saheeh InternationalAnd to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward]

53:32 📚 9

ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةࣱ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşOnlar, günahın büyüklerinden ve çirkin işlerden kaçınırlar, yalnız bazı küçük hatalar işleyebilirler. Şüphesiz Rabbinin affı geniştir (O kendisine yönelen kulunu affeder). O sizi daha iyi bilir: Gerek sizi topraktan inşa ettiği, gerek annelerinizin karınlarında bulunduğunuz zaman biçim verdiği sırada (sizin her halinizi bilmiştir), artık kendinizi övüp yüceltmeyin, çünkü O, korunanı daha iyi bilir

Yusuf AliThose who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil

Saheeh InternationalThose who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him

53:33

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ

Süleyman AteşGördün mü şu adamı ki arkasını döndü

Yusuf AliSeest thou one who turns back

Saheeh InternationalHave you seen the one who turned away

53:34

وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلࣰ ا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşAzıcık verdi, gerisini elinde sıkı sıkı tuttu

Yusuf AliGives a little, then hardens (his heart)

Saheeh InternationalAnd gave a little and [then] refrained

53:35 📚 2

أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşGayb'ın bilgisi kendi yanında da o mu (alemin esrarını) görüyor

Yusuf AliWhat! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see

Saheeh InternationalDoes he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees

53:36 📚 4

أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

Süleyman AteşYoksa kendisine haber mi verilmedi: Musa'nın sahifelerinde bulunan

Yusuf AliNay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses

Saheeh InternationalOr has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

53:37

وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ

Süleyman AteşVe çok vefalı İbrahim'in (sahifelerinde bulunan şu gerçekler)

Yusuf AliAnd of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements

Saheeh InternationalAnd [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]

53:38 📚 3

أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةࣱ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ

Süleyman AteşKi hiçbir günahkar, başkasının günah yükünü yüklenmez

Yusuf AliNamely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another

Saheeh InternationalThat no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another

53:39

وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

Süleyman Ateşİnsana çalışmasından başka bir şey yoktur

Yusuf AliThat man can have nothing but what he strives for

Saheeh InternationalAnd that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

53:40 📚 3

وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

Süleyman AteşVe çalışması da yakında görülecektir

Yusuf AliThat (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight

Saheeh InternationalAnd that his effort is going to be seen

53:41

ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

Süleyman AteşSonra ona tastamam karşılığı verilecektir

Yusuf AliThen will he be rewarded with a reward complete

Saheeh InternationalThen he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense

53:42 📚 3

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Süleyman AteşVe sonunda senin Rabbine varılacaktır

Yusuf AliThat to thy Lord is the final Goal

Saheeh InternationalAnd that to your Lord is the finality

53:43 📚 3

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

Süleyman AteşGüldüren de O'dur, ağlatan da O'dur

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

53:44 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

Süleyman AteşÖldüren de O'dur, yaşatan da O'dur

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who granteth Death and Life

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who causes death and gives life

53:45 📚 1

وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Süleyman AteşO yarattı iki çifti: erkeği ve dişiyi

Yusuf AliThat He did create in pairs,- male and female

Saheeh InternationalAnd that He creates the two mates - the male and female

53:46 📚 1

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

Süleyman AteşAtıldığı zaman nutfe(sperm)den

Yusuf AliFrom a seed when lodged (in its place)

Saheeh InternationalFrom a sperm-drop when it is emitted

53:47 📚 1

وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

Süleyman AteşŞüphesiz tekrar yaratmak da O'nun işidir

Yusuf AliThat He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

53:48 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

Süleyman AteşZengin eden O'dur, bol verip memnun eden O

Yusuf AliThat it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who enriches and suffices

53:49 📚 2

وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

Süleyman Ateş(Taptıkları) Şi'ra(yıldızı)nın Rabbi O'dur

Yusuf AliThat He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

53:50 📚 1

وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

Süleyman AteşO helak etti, önce gelen 'Ad'ı

Yusuf AliAnd that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people)

Saheeh InternationalAnd that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad
