67. Al-Mulk سُورَةُ المُلۡكِ

Saheeh International[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving

Yusuf AliHe Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving

Saheeh International[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks

Yusuf AliHe Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (God) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSonra gözünü tekrar tekrar döndür (bak). Göz (aradığı bozukluğu bulmaktan) âciz ve bitkin halde sana dönecektir

Saheeh InternationalThen return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued

Yusuf AliAgain turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun biz, en yakın göğü kandillerle donattık ve onları, şeytanlar için taşlamalar yaptık. Ve onlar için alevli ateş azabını hazırladık

Saheeh InternationalAnd We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze

Yusuf AliAnd we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire

Saheeh InternationalAnd for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination

Yusuf AliFor those who reject their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such), Destination

Saheeh InternationalWhen they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up

Yusuf AliWhen they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath even as it blazes forth

Saheeh InternationalIt almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner

Yusuf AliAlmost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDerler: "Evet, bize uyarıcı geldi ama biz yalanladık ve Allah hiçbir şey indirmedi, siz ancak büyük bir sapıklık içindesiniz." dedik

Saheeh InternationalThey will say," Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allah has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error

Yusuf AliThey will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'God never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırVe derler ki: "Eğer biz dinleseydik, yahut düşünüp anlasaydık şu çılgın ateşin halkı arasında bulunmazdık

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze

Yusuf AliThey will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırBöylece günahlarını itiraf ederler. (Artık) o çılgın ateş halkı (Allah'ın rahmetinden) uzak olsunlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation for the companions of the Blaze

Yusuf AliThey will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırFakat daha görmeden Rablerinden korkanlar var ya, işte onlar için bağışlanma ve büyük bir mükâfat vardır

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward

Yusuf AliAs for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırSözünüzü ister gizleyin, ister açığa vurun; bilin ki, O, göğüslerin özünü bilir

Saheeh InternationalAnd conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts

Yusuf AliAnd whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge, of the secrets of (all) hearts

Saheeh InternationalDoes He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted

Yusuf AliShould He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırO size yeri boyun eğer kıldı. Haydi onun omuzlarında (dağlarında, tepelerinde) yürüyün ve Allah'ın rızkından yeyin. Dönüş ancak O'nadır

Saheeh InternationalIt is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection

Yusuf AliIt is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırHer şeyi kuşatmış olan Allah ın yeri sizinle birlikte göçürüvermesinden emin misiniz? O zaman yer çalkalanıyordur

Saheeh InternationalDo you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway

Yusuf AliDo ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırYoksa siz, gökte olanın üzerinize taş yağdıran bir kasırga göndermeyeceğinden emin misiniz? Tehdidim nasılmış bileceksiniz

Saheeh InternationalOr do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning

Yusuf AliOr do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAndolsun, onlardan öncekiler de yalanladılar. Ama beni inkâr nasıl oldu

Saheeh InternationalAnd already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach

Yusuf AliBut indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)

Saheeh InternationalDo they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing

Yusuf AliDo they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (God) Most Gracious: Truly (God) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırRahmân olan Allah'a karşı şu size yardım edecek askerleriniz hani kimlerdir? İnkârcılar, ancak derin bir gaflet içinde bulunmaktadırlar

Saheeh InternationalOr who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion

Yusuf AliNay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (God) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırAllah size verdiği rızkı kesiverse, size rızık verecek olabilen kimdir? Hayır, onlar azgınlık ve nefrette direnip durmaktadırlar

Saheeh InternationalOr who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion

Yusuf AliOr who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth)

Saheeh InternationalThen is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path

Yusuf AliIs then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "Sizi yaratan, size kulaklar gözler ve gönüller veren O'dur. Ne kadar az şükrediyorsunuz

Saheeh InternationalSay, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful

Yusuf AliSay: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow), and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "Sizi yerden üreten O'dur ve O'na toplanıp götürüleceksiniz

Saheeh InternationalSay, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered

Yusuf AliSay: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır(Onlar): "Doğru iseniz bu tehdit ne zaman olacak?" diyorlar

Saheeh InternationalAnd they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful

Yusuf AliThey ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "(O'na ait) bilgi, Allah'ın yanındadır. Ben ancak apaçık bir uyarıcıyım

Saheeh InternationalSay, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner

Yusuf AliSay: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with God alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırOnu yakın görünce inkâr edenlerin yüzleri kötüleşti. Ve: "İşte çağırıp durduğunuz şey budur!" dendi

Saheeh InternationalBut when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call

Yusuf AliAt length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled), which ye were calling for

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "Baksanıza, eğer Allah beni ve benimle beraber olanları öldürse, yahut bize merhamet etse, kâfirleri acı bir azabdan kim kurtarabilir

Saheeh InternationalSay, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment

Yusuf AliSay: "See ye?- If God were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty

Elmalılı Hamdi YazırDe ki: "O çok merhametlidir. O'na inanmış, O'na dayanmışızdır. Yakında kimin apaçık bir sapıklık içinde olduğunu bileceksiniz

Saheeh InternationalSay, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error

Yusuf AliSay: "He is (God) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error

Saheeh InternationalSay, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water

Yusuf AliSay: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water
