75. Al-Qiyaama سُورَةُ القِيَامَةِ

Saheeh InternationalI swear by the Day of Resurrection

Süleyman AteşYoo, kıyamet gününe and içerim

Yusuf AliI do call to witness the Resurrection Day

Saheeh InternationalAnd I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]

Süleyman AteşYoo, daima, kendini kınayan nefse and içerim

Yusuf AliAnd I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil)

Saheeh InternationalDoes man think that We will not assemble his bones

Süleyman Ateşİnsan kendisinin kemiklerini bir araya toplamayacağımızı mı sanıyor

Yusuf AliDoes man think that We cannot assemble his bones

Saheeh InternationalYes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips

Süleyman AteşEvet, toplarız, onun parmak uçlarnı düzenlemeğe gücümüz yeter

Yusuf AliNay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers

Saheeh InternationalBut man desires to continue in sin

Yusuf AliBut man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him

Saheeh InternationalHe asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection

Yusuf AliHe questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection

Saheeh InternationalSo when vision is dazzled

Süleyman AteşAma göz (güneş gibi ortaya çıkan gerçeğin karşısında) kamaştığı

Yusuf AliAt length, when the sight is dazed

Saheeh InternationalAnd the moon darkens

Süleyman AteşAy tutulduğu

Yusuf AliAnd the moon is buried in darkness

Saheeh InternationalAnd the sun and the moon are joined

Süleyman AteşGüneş ve Ay bir araya toplandığı zaman

Yusuf AliAnd the sun and moon are joined together

Saheeh InternationalMan will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape

Süleyman Ateş(Evet) O gün insan: "Kaçacak yer neresi?" der

Yusuf AliThat Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge

Saheeh InternationalNo! There is no refuge

Süleyman AteşHayır, sığınacak yer yoktur

Yusuf AliBy no means! No place of safety

Saheeh InternationalTo your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence

Süleyman AteşO gün varıp durulacak yer, ancak Rabbinin huzurudur (ey insan)

Yusuf AliBefore thy Lord (alone), that Day will be the place of rest

Saheeh InternationalMan will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back

Süleyman Ateş(O zaman) İnsanın yapıp öne sürdüğü, (yapmayıp) geri bıraktığı herşey kendisine haber verilir

Yusuf AliThat Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back

Saheeh InternationalRather, man, against himself, will be a witness

Süleyman AteşDoğrusu insan kendi nefsini görür

Yusuf AliNay, man will be evidence against himself

Saheeh InternationalEven if he presents his excuses

Süleyman AteşBirtakım özürler ortaya atsa da

Yusuf AliEven though he were to put up his excuses

Saheeh InternationalMove not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an

Süleyman Ateş(Ey Muhammed,) Onu hemen okumak için diline depretme

Yusuf AliMove not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith

Saheeh InternationalIndeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation

Süleyman AteşOnu (senin kalbinde) toplamak ve (sana) okumak bize düşer

Yusuf AliIt is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it

Saheeh InternationalSo when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation

Süleyman AteşO halde sana Kur'an'ı okuduğumuz zaman onun okunuşunu izle

Yusuf AliBut when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated)

Saheeh InternationalThen upon Us is its clarification [to you]

Süleyman AteşSonra onu açıklamak da bize düşer

Yusuf AliNay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)

Saheeh InternationalNo! But you love the immediate

Süleyman AteşHayır, siz çabuk(geçen şu dünyay)ı seviyorsunuz da

Yusuf AliNay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life

Saheeh InternationalAnd leave the Hereafter

Süleyman AteşAhireti bırakıyorsunuz

Yusuf AliAnd leave alone the Hereafter

Saheeh International[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant

Süleyman AteşYüzler var ki o gün ışıl ışıl parlar

Yusuf AliSome faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty)

Saheeh InternationalLooking at their Lord

Süleyman AteşRabbine bakar

Yusuf AliLooking towards their Lord

Saheeh InternationalAnd [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted

Süleyman AteşYüzler de var ki o gün asıktır

Yusuf AliAnd some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal

Saheeh InternationalExpecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking

Süleyman AteşKendisine bel kemiklerini kıran(bela)nın yapılacağını anlar

Yusuf AliIn the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them

Saheeh InternationalNo! When the soul has reached the collar bones

Süleyman AteşHayır, ne zaman ki can, köprücük kemiklerine dayanır

Yusuf AliYea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit)

Saheeh InternationalAnd it is said, "Who will cure [him]

Süleyman AteşVe (başında bulunanlar tarafından): "Kim afsun yapar acaba? denir

Yusuf AliAnd there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)

Saheeh InternationalAnd the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation

Süleyman AteşVe kendisi artık bunun, ayrılık zamanı olduğunu anlar

Yusuf AliAnd he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting

Saheeh InternationalAnd the leg is wound about the leg

Süleyman AteşVe bacak bacağa dolaşır

Yusuf AliAnd one leg will be joined with another

Saheeh InternationalTo your Lord, that Day, will be the procession

Süleyman Ateşİşte o gün, sevk Rabbinedir (can, Allah'ın huzuruna sevk edilir)

Yusuf AliThat Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord

Saheeh InternationalAnd the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed

Süleyman AteşNe sadaka verdi, ne de namaz kıldı

Yusuf AliSo he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray

Saheeh InternationalBut [instead], he denied and turned away

Süleyman AteşFakat yalanladı, döndü

Yusuf AliBut on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away

Saheeh InternationalAnd then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]

Süleyman AteşSonra çalım satarak ailesine gitti

Yusuf AliThen did he stalk to his family in full conceit

Saheeh InternationalWoe to you, and woe

Süleyman AteşYazık sana yazık

Yusuf AliWoe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe

Saheeh InternationalThen woe to you, and woe

Süleyman AteşYine yazık sana yazık

Yusuf AliAgain, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe

Saheeh InternationalDoes man think that he will be left neglected

Süleyman Ateşİnsan, başı boş bırakılacağını mı sanır

Yusuf AliDoes man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)

Saheeh InternationalHad he not been a sperm from semen emitted

Süleyman AteşKendisi dökülen meniden bir nutfe (sperm) değil miydi

Yusuf AliWas he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)

Saheeh InternationalThen he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]

Süleyman AteşSonra alaka (rahme asılan embriyo) oldu da (Rabbi onu) yarattı, düzenledi

Yusuf AliThen did he become a leech-like clot; then did (God) make and fashion (him) in due proportion

Saheeh InternationalAnd made of him two mates, the male and the female

Süleyman AteşO(meni)den iki çifti: Erkeği ve dişiyi var etti

Yusuf AliAnd of him He made two sexes, male and female

Saheeh InternationalIs not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead

Süleyman AteşŞimdi bun(ları yapan Allah)ın ölüleri diriltmeğe gücü yetmez mi

Yusuf AliHas not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead
